    Opened a restaurant 2 blocks from 4X4!!!

Just to let you guys know I opened a restaurant 2 blocks from 4X4 on the main street Primero de Marzo. The name of it is Aquarios Grill, open from 11am-5pm. It is a perfect spot to go before you hit 4X4. If you guys do go there, just mention WSG and have a beer on me with your meal! I appreciate your support. I will also really appreciate it if you PM me and tell me about your experience eating there. Thanks.

Thanks. I know I come and go, and so on. I actually am very busy building my new business in Brazil and come back here to get info from older PM's from time to time. Then I do a quick glance of posts and there seems to always be something that I want to chime in on.

I find the overall banter here interesting at times. There are lots of bright guys participating here. Some with vast experience in Brazil, far more than I have and I find their opinions about traveling, living, etc. very helpful. It is often the little tips and the insights about the average Brazilian's mindset that I find invaluable.

What I don't really enjoy is when guys simply objectivity the ladies. No, I'm not out to fall in love or looking to overally romantize the experiences with them. But these ladies are human beings, and I personally find I have a more blissful experience with them by treating nicely. But that experience ends when the hour is up, until I may see them again. There are only two GDP's that I maintain contact with on an on-going basis and that is because they are helping me on a (non-sex related) business project. Contrary to what some here say, some of these ladies have other aspiratons and more drive than to take a guys "clean nut in their mouths until they are used up has beens that have no option but to marry a Brazilian guy that beats them every day." These 2 ladies have proven to be quite ambitious and bright. And I certainly have zero use for the guys that feel that R$100 gives them the right to abuse a woman. Those guys have issues.

Like I say the only time I pay for it now is occassionally when I am in Rio or SP without my lady friend for extended periods. And what usually happens is I will find one or two GDPs that I really enjoy (and that also enjoy couples) and will session with them with my lady when I return to Rio with her. I actually don't even pursue anything while in the US. I just find it a real hassle as I have a tight business travel schedule. Brazil has spoiled me in that regard, knowing I am just weeks away from being back.

So if you were able to negotiate anal and CIM during the very brief Garota introductions as they come in one right after the other and kiss you on the cheek (or worked it all out with her before going up), they you had an understanding. Not sure why she was so shocked and appalled then.

This is the moral territory that we operate in; live and let live.

Skimmed through it. Ouch. I've rarely seen such rambling nonsense. Really weird, to say the least. Obviously, you should consult ASAP.

To apply the old adage, never argue with a fool, he will drag you down to his level then beat you by experience. Bye.

I'm moving this wonderful discussion to the "Living in Brazil" thread. Since there's a lot of people writing valuable reports about the main topic of this thread (good and fun sex in Rio) and I don't wanna intrude in their space.

By now i have received dozens of PMs of support, thanking me for the posts and one clear message: DON'T MESS WITH THESE PEOPLE! THEY'RE DANGEROUS!

Of course they are talking about PROSAL and PERKELE, the bullies of the forum.

Well.. shouldn't I? But most importantly shouldn't we? It's not their forum.

    Hughdad's mini field report

Hey Hughdad - that was some excellent writing in your recent mini field report! Do you have any background as a writer?

That Brazil is a bureaucratic disaster? Probably. That Brazilians are nuts and obsessive? Sure. That social differences are huge and offensive? Definitely.

Still I find an energy and beauty in Brazil that I can't find anywhere else. Both in nature and in people.

In the so-called first world we all care too much about our careers and our stiff rules, and we don't even struggle for happiness anymore.

It's just a fake happiness made of symbols and depressing objectives.

What is more, I've known people with a pureness of heart I couldn't find in the first world. Definitely not in Bel Air or Park Avenue ...and I'm not talking about Copa.

Brazil is much bigger than Rio!

Believe me, I have known my share of multimillionaires. From New York to Silicon Valley. But are they happier than those people from the favelas marching on Carnaval for a couple of hours?

Do their lifes have more sense and meaning than a Vinicius de Moraes song?

    Are they any better?

Well... I know that Prosal and Perkele have a good answer for that (hey, they look so happy)...

    but I dont.
    You are so clueless.

Brasilians may or may not be happier than anyone else.

For majority life here is eternal struggle without any reason for happiness.

Its easy to see that your contacts are thieves and prostitutes (not trying to say that ho's are bad people), who are "improving" their lives through "rich" gringos.

Hmmm!! But it would be so much better if the people did not have to live in favelas, or do you think that is essential?
The Rio Carnaval is a great spectacle, but the way it is organized should make nobody proud. A joint venture between local, state and federal government together with the bicheiros, the real mafia.

BelPrazer prices have not gone up. I just recommended to a friend (R$60 for 30 min, R$80 for 40 minutes and $100 for 1 hour.) He enjoyed a dupla there for a sepcial of R$160.
Its 100 R for the 1 hr session.......however, if you decide to use a credit card, there is an extra fee applied. Forget now how much. Prices have not changed. I know, I was there on friday.

Silly songs? A song by Tom Jobim and Vinicius a silly song? Man, you're really an expert on Brazil.

Regards your second question I haven't spammed anything. SPAM is repeating the same post. And these were just three different posts. And they were ralated to the topic.

Uzbekistan is really going up in flames. Definitely the place to go for a quickie!!

    So what?

Happines is the crucial element. Happines is a very elusive thing.
    Elusive, mysterious but absolutely needed.

Happiness is like a little feather

But either you're happy (even if it's just for a few hours) or you're unhappy and you feel miserable.

    Pick your choice.

Personally I find Bahia carnaval even more appalling. Blocos are so obviously commercial and segregationist that it is grotesque. Yet there it's the axe industry that rules the event.

As is football. Unemployed masses who applaud millionaires.
