I am reducing my contributions for various reasons. One is flaming and other aggressions. Mainly at another board, years ago. Another is that, due to the problematic legal situation of mongering, publication means government attention, and even house closures. Or too many noisy gringos.

I do have to admit that I was in very much doubt about doing this guide again. Mostly because my fellow contributors of Centro information can be counted on one hand. Christopherd is one of those. There used to be several more contributors, but they are gone or prefer to exchange info by PM.[...]I have several fellow monger friends, with up to 20 years of experience in Brazil, who knows about wh*re-houses all over in Brazil. Are they contributing members here? No. Why? Because they don't see no reason to contribute when nobody else seems to give a f*ck about sharing new valuable info.

OK, but making a soft-core adult movie is a long way from being a GDP.

I probably already said too much, as nobody will be willing to testify against these powerful people that yes, they did a program with them and paid 200 dollars for it, 15 years ago. The witnesses have absolutely nothing to win, and they have a lot to lose.

I will be going to Brazil in August. Does anyone think there will be something open to replace Help by then. I know there is balcony, but the talent there was always bad. Maybe it's better since Help closed. Have you heard of a larger venue opening in the near future. There is just too much money to make to not open another Help somewhere.

I resolved the situation. In the end, I only ended up paying for the 28th, not he 29-31st of march. She did screw me out of one more day, but I was willing to be fucked just to keep the peace with her mom.

She ended up charging me for April 1st, even though I left the aprtment by 11AM. I didnt fuss and fight I just told her "Even though I have a real problem with paying for my last day, I will do it THIS time, in the future, I will not be paying for the day I leave the apartment. I have been coming to brasil for over 13 years and I have never paid for the last day of my trip, if you cant rent to me in the future because of this, I understand!"

It was only an extra 50 bucks, but still, it irked the shit out of me to pay that additional money. I let it slide just so I can have a future reference n case of an emergency.

No problem TJ! When I ran into the 9 gringoes at RB, I tried to tell them why the girls told them to literally, "go away and come back in a hour" twice. When aceva took me the day before I observed the girls being careful to not allow clients to see each other. It's a discreet situation. I also learned some evasive behavioral moves by aceva, to not let the general public on floors to not know where we were going, and it was just two of us.

But when I told the horny 9 mongering commandos that they were too obvious and behaved like they were walking into 4x4 or other top level termas which was inappropriate, they looked at me funny. I've seen most of them before in Copa and termas on previous trips. So I think it's best to add etiquette to the casa list.

Maybe poor gringo etiquette caused the previous raids. I believe most people know that there is casa activity in the building, and see a loud large group of verifies it to the Brazilians who work in the building. And yes, the building has plain clothes and uniformed security guards, and I am sure a few may be moon-lighting police officers.

But on my recent trip, March - April 2010, I didn't visit one termas. And I didn't miss them. So let's educate mongers about etiquette if we are going to inform on the RB casas. The 9 guys wanted my list of RB casa to be emailed to them. I am not emailing them anything. And my Los Angeles Brazilian traveling buddies are not going to get the list, for I'm sure they will send the wrong mongers to the RB casas.

laser 205 smells like [CodeWord113]! pure [CodeWord113]! and then these girls have the audacity to stretch my golf shirt trying to get me to stay. all were butt ugly!

ba 85's first floor charges r4 for a beer! r25 for 20 minutes is the norm in ba 85 now. is it worth it? for a few yes, but most girls there are lack luster performers. and it is too hot in most of these centro cases anyway! there was a bloody tampon in the 4th floor bathroom of ba 85 recently. yuck!....

there is a big difference between a casa that charges r$ 20 and a casa that charges r$ 70. difference in service, comfort, hygiene etc. to the rio branco casas you go to get a session, not to party or drink. in the rb casas the girls smells like roses and treat you like a prince. if you happens to meet other clients there, they will be pretty welldressed and with good manners. people who don't behave or act like slobs will not be welcome there, no matter if it's a brazilian or a gringo.

in the r$ 1 casas just about all kinds of people are welcome, including low-lifes, slobs and silly brazilians/gringos. these r$ 1 casas might be very simple, noisy, hot, dirty and without shower possibilities. no need to complain, you're getting laid at the price of a meal at a decent comida a quilo restaurant. considering that many of these girls might have a dozen of dicks in their vaginas every day, in sessions that gives them 10 reais, i think they perform pretty well.

regarding the beer price, i think it's fair that they charge r$ 4/beer, because a lot of guys just go there to have a beer, grab asses and don't buy any sessions.

i office ave. rio branco building next to carioca station. i pick a floor to do some mongering. when i get to my selected floor i run into 9 gringoes from copacabana. they are all wearing tourist uniforms and back packets like navy seals on a mission to find the termas atmosphere. they complained that they went to a suite and were told to come back in a hour. literally they were turned away. of course they were turned away for approaching a suite like they were enter 4 x 4 or somewhere. after i followed them to the 1st floor, i doubled back to the suite where they were turned around and entered it with a problem, and i had a nice session. a completa costed r150 a hour or so with a credit card.

this location should be handled discreetly. like most large office building there are cameras. on the first floor near the elevators i observed a camera room, where the door window had dark tint but you could see the manned monitors. so the word to the wise, do not approach an office suite as if you are entering a terma. don't be loud and go with no more than two people. or if you can go by yourself. my last visit to the office building i travelled by myself. i was schooled the day before by isg member aceva.

urg 24 has a cute blond on the 1st floor, but that is about it. and beers are r4 on all floors there, i think.
i mean who likes to sit there in the centro casas and watch these girls wolf down food and then turn around and get in your face after they are done.

and you all know i could go on and on about brazilians acting "ghetto" but if i did then people would get offended, say i am racist, xenophobic, etc. then why is it ok to refer to, or imply that some gringos are stupid, just for not having been informed of a dress code?

in the end, yes, there are "dumb' gringos but that is only because they have not been informed. remember they are tourists. but brazilians act pretty silly at times. i think people, for a variety of reasons, just expect more of gringos than they do of brazilians, and others.

so if some gringos are "dumb" what do we call brazilians who are at home and should know better?

It can be difficult dealing with people who are unwilling to even try to see your point of view. Thats why you need a lease/rental agreement. It always comes down to money - and how much they can get from you.
The BS sucks doesn't it.

Better to have a lease clearly spelled out with exact dates and price.

After reading your original post, you said, " we signed a contract for the month of March". If it is stated in the contract then you only owe for one day, the 28th, if anything at all.
