The face is also extremely important to me. It's like I always say. If I can't get past that face, then I won't be getting to them "hind parts" hahahaha. SP is certainly not a dump. I do prefer RJ to SP but it's a world class city indeed, very green for a huge megapolis with an excellent transportation system, plenty of things to see and fantastic restaurants. Ibirapuera Park is one of the best urban parks in the world, and I was surprised how much I loved walking there (that's coming from NYC with our Central Park). Centro can be depressing on a weekend, but I have never had to use a flashlight to avoid human waste, although I do tend to uber in both Rio and SP at night.

Well Said! I too enjoy walking around Ibirapuera Park as well as the surrounding neighborhoods and discovering small restaurants that the locals favor. I also find that Paulistanos are friendly yet they tend to leave one alone unless I choose to open up a dialogue.

I remember an old quote from Anthony Bourdain who once said that when he first arrived in SP, "São Paulo felt (to him) like LOS Angeles threw up on New York City" and "it is true that the city is known for its unreliable weather and the size of its helicopter fleet. " LOL. But even Anthony changed his tune by his 2nd visit as he "discovered a fondness for the rich culture that has developed from the mix of rich and poor, young and old <snip a city of the kind of people I like. " Which parallels how I feel IE SP is a city of wonderful women.

SP is certainly not a dump. I do prefer RJ to SP but it's a world class city indeed, very green for a huge megapolis with an excellent transportation system, plenty of things to see and fantastic restaurants. Yes, I get it too. What you say are the facts. But here's the thing. None of it matters one iota if one is not attracted to Asian women! So, Thailand can't be the best (or better) if you don't like Asian girls. Now, I won't say that I don't like them at all, but I am attracted to very, very, very few Asian (or African for that matter) women. So much so that I always tell how I literally went 72 hours in Pattaya, ground zero for fucking in Thailand, without fucking anybody because I didn't see anybody who I liked (with all of that choice which you so accurately note)! So Dom Axel I can't dispute what you're saying. But not a lick of it matters one bit if one isn't into Asian girls! In Brazil pretty spinners are still my favorite category, but I am happy to report that I have also discovered a new body type, new for me anyway: tall, slender Brazilian girls. Wow! Is all I will say about them until I write up my most recent trip reports. But on any given Thursday, or Friday night I will usually find that around 10% to 15% of SP Scandallo girls are attractive to me which considering how many girls are in the club, turns out to be a lot of pretty girls to choose from. That is why I hold Scandallo in such high regard.

Brancas are my favorites, but I also like morenas, indigenous girls, and an occasional a black girl too. After her good looks grabs my attention, it all hinges on the girl and how she interacts with me. Interestingly, I find Japanese Brazilian girls are a bit of letdown. They are not the same as Japanese Japanese girls IMHO. KKK.

There have been many posts on this topic but just wanted to share my experience.

You buy a Sim (chip) for example Claro chip recarga from any newspaper agent or Lojos Americanos.

These are 30 real with 12 GB of data for a month. Once you put the new SIM in your phone you wait for an SMS with your new phone number. This takes 20-30 minutes. Now you need to go to a Claro shop to activate the number. I went to Shopping Leblon mall and they activated the SIM at the Clara shop without even checking my passport.

Today I was busy writing some attractive ladies from the recommended sites using my new local number and the prices are local prices thanks to google translate.

A large area of Sao Paulo is very nice and upscale actually. There are places that are dump and I have posted some pictures before but they are not all of Sao Paulo. Here are a few more that I took late at night near o Centro. I like both parts of the city.

If you have been to Pat and I have no reason to doubt your word, then you know that Pattaya has soi after soi after soi of girls, bars, beer complexes, massage parlors, go go's, nightclubs and SW's. How many Go Go's are there in Pat? I don't know. Too many to count. How many massage parlors? I don't know. Same same, there are too many to count. And on any given night there are hundreds and hundreds of girls (and ladyboys too 555) standing on Beach Rd starting a couple of blocks before the Hilton all the way to Walking Street looking for customers from 8 pm to 5 am. I don't know the exact numbers, no one does, but there must be at least 10 x, more likely 20 x or 30 x the number of working girls involved with the sex trade in Pattaya compared to RJ. On sheer volume alone and ease of access Pattaya wins hands down. There is no contest, no real comparison. Look at my attached Pattaya map. It is meant to illustrate the sheer number of possibilities available in Pat. It is mind boggling. But note, I only included venues I have some interest in. I hardly ever visit Pattaya massage parlors because (again) my opinion they are not as good as the ones in BKK so they do not interest me and I did not place them on my map.

SP vs RJ:

Now like I said, you are entitled to your opinion and your personal preferences, but so am I and IMHO comparing SP (Sao Paulo) to RJ on mongering, SP wins. Why? The Boates! And the clinicas which I personally prefer over RJ prives. Please text me when a boate like Scandallo opens in RJ and I will fly over from SP on my next trip to check it out. I am not only talking about numbers of girls, but I am also talking girl quality which in my opinion is the most important thing. And while we are on the subject, I would also love to know what Terma or bar in RJ in your opinion can match Casarao in terms of sheer number of girls and circus circus like atmosphere. 4 x 4? Maybe, but I don't think so. VM? Ha, ha, ha. Not even close. But don't get me wrong, I like 4 x 4 and VM, to lesser extent, but those 2 places ain't as good as Casarao (IMHO). This is why I can skip RJ completely, spend all my trip time in SP, and feel I am not missing a fucking thing. I just think SP is an overall better mongering town in the year of our Lord, 2022 than RJ. You are free to think otherwise.

Lastly, I know you probably didn't mean to impugn my character when you questioned whether I have ever been to Pattaya. Maybe you did, but I will assume you just got carried away a little defending your love of RJ. Don't make it personal. I can assure you I have been travelling to SE Asia (Pat, BKK, Phnom, CGK, MNL, AC ect, ect) for well over 25 years. My current nom de guerre (A. H.) may have only a 361-post history since I began it during Covid when I first visited Brazil in 2021, but I have been contributing to the ISG under a different nom de guerre since 2008 and have over 4500 posts to my credit. It is also safe to say I am fairly well known on the ISG Asian thread and other forums whose names we are not allowed to say here and I have a number of ISG friends over in the Thai, PI, Indonesian, Cambodian, Macau, HKG, forums whom I have met and barhopped with in the real world. I really don't want to start a pissing contest with you, but I will defend my integrity and my word if I have to, so just lay off the personal shit. OK.

Soon I'll be back in that P4 P paradise known as RdJ for the first time since '19 & I've been scouring this board for useful intel, as usual. One thing I've read, much to my dismay, is that you now have to present photo ID (I. E. Passport) to ride the elevators in RB156? I've spent many, many afternoons like Harrison Ford exploring floor after floor of that building in search of bunda, but I'm just not feelin this idea of having my PP # in some computer just for the 'privilege' of checkin out prives!

This is such a bummer, as I've had many good / great pulls from that bldg over the years! Are there still a bunch of prives operating there or has this ID nonsense caused several to abandon ship?

Bummer? ID nonsense? I don't see the problem here. If you have actually entered Brazil, that means you have a passport, right? You have a problem showing your ID? What country do you live in where you never have to show your ID for routine things like picking up your prescription, voting or getting on an airplane? You had to show one to get on the plane to Brazil and you had to show it again when you arrived, didn't you.

I arrived in Brazil at the end of June and arrived here in Bogota a week ago. In all the time I was in Brazil I had to routinely show my passport to enter commercial buildings, to get on a intercity bus, and of course to board a plane. On both domestic and foreign flights. I've also had to send a photo of my passport to Spanish language schools in Buenos Aires and here in Bogota. And most relevant to Brazil, I've had to present some ID to the porteiro at apartment buildings where GPS work out of, as well as hotels they work out of. In the case of the latter, the desk clerks have made a photocopy of my ID, and taken an actual photo of me before letting me ascend. That also happened in an upscale apartment building in Sao Paulo, where the female porteiro had the demeanor of a Stasi agent at Checkpoint Charlie. This is standard routine. But it didn't stop me from having a good time.

And you know why they need your ID? I shouldn't have to explain this to you, but its for security. It's to discourage you from assaulting or murdering the girls, who are frequently targeted for violence. As my favorite girl in Rio told me, "This is very dangerous work. I never work alone. " Despite the security at the entrance to her building, she shares a 3-room suite with two other girls and will not allow clients to enter unless another girl is there in the suite. You call that nonsense? No, its called safety. And you would be a bit naive to think you are not being monitored on video cameras in any vice oriented establishment.

And if for some odd but legitimate reason you really can't show your ID, then go to a prive, or meet a GP at a love hotel. Now those places do not ask for your ID and for good reasons. Love hotels cater to couples who don't want their ID known, be it an ordinary adulterous situation or GP treating her married client to some fun (do you realize that most clients in Brazil are married?

That said, if showing your passport or just some sort of ID is an obstacle for you, then travel to South America, or probably any other country in the world, is just not in the cards for you.

Back in April / May 2021 on my 1st visit to Brazil, the bordellos were all closed except for the SP Clinicas which somehow remained open. Thank Buddha. So, I had to little choice other than making use of a few well-known call girl sites.

Yes, they asked for ID and only then gave out the elevator turnstile entrance card. The elevator goes to the top floor after which you have to take another elevator to get to the clinica.

Supposedly you have to return the big key card to the receptionist on leaving. Without the card, you can't exit the turnstile after coming back down to the lobby floor. It was a rather interesting learning experience for me as I didn't know that and dropped the card in the turnstile slot while I was going up and was locked in after coming back down to lobby. The security guard had to go and get the girl from the reception desk to give me an annoying look and get me out. Live and learn.

I don't know if they still require ID to enter RB 156.

When I do a thorough priv-serach in RB156, RB185 or TDM33 I always go to the top floor and work my way down using the stairs. In RB156 and TDM33 there are fire exit stairs and it goes quick going downstairs. In RB185 you have to use the stairs next to the elevator which is a hassle as the porteiros will shout at you, in the loudspeakers.
