I can second that. Great little club with first rate musicians. And they're opening a second venue right beside it. It's right across from Casablanca in the alley.

I too miss L'Uomo. It had the hottest garotas and IMHO the best setup. And free food. I also really miss Balcony Bar. I actually liked it better than Helpe, great atmosphere even if you weren't there to monger (which I usually was). It was just so free and easy.

    Renting an apartment

The problem I'm running into is that it seems like you have to have proof of employment and two Brazilian co-signers with the financial backing to cosign for you. I have enough assets to retire on and probably won't work for a year or two except for investment income. From what I'm reading it seems almost impossible to rent an apartment without cosigners and definitely without a job even if I have plenty of assets to pay my rent 100 times over. For those ex-pats living in Rio what did you do? There is the option of Airbnb but there's no way I'm doing that it's way overpriced for more than a few weeks stay. Any help on this is greatly appreciated.
Apply for a retirement visa. That'll get you CPF and RNE. Then find an apartment you like through QAndar. They have some insurance solutions instead of co-signers. VivaReal is also a good site. But. Rentals are in big demand right now, it's not easy.

Consider buying if you have the cash. Prices, especially when priced in USD are at generational lows. You get a Big Bang for your buck. But you need to pay cash, mortgage financing in Brazil is almost impossible for a foreigner.

Links to videos of girls you have fucked in the ass at 4 x4 or Rio with her name and proof of anal penetration.

I, being Vagabundo, do hereby swear that I fucked that redhead in the ass. Her name was Kethleen, and she worked at 4 x4. I also met her at Club Mix Bar, nearby, where there was a social night for mongers, which we need to do again.

/ s / Vagabundo, Commanding Officer, Swiss Navy brand.

Vagabundo headed over to Darkroom today. He banged Laura, a pretty white girl with nice ripe tits, and a full bunda, for the 80 reais half hour Saturday special. Good BBBJ, all positions. Forgot to get a massage. Lasted just a quick 15 minutes. Homegirl was sick this week. Good to have the option for a $16 USD fuck. Vagabundo also went over to Emporio do Banho where there were 4 girls, including India, a hot morena.

First Republic Bank debit card has the same deal as the Schwab debit card. I use both of them.

Yep. And the second one is Aspiration, although, like I said, they sneak in a 1% Forex fee without announcing it directly. I recommend both cards for Brazil where there're often ridiculous daily limits.

The Sapphire banking account does indeed have this benefit, but requires a $75,000 deposit, otherwise it's $25 a month. Kind of defeats the purpose.

Schwab is the way to go.

My suggestion is to open a Schwab checking account. The ATM card reimburses you for all international ATM fees.

    Which ATM to use?

The refund on ATM withdrawal fees is a very nice feature, but does not Chase charge immediate interest on the cash withdrawal (advance)? After all this is not a checking account. You are in effect borrowing the money from Chase. And don't Chase Private Client accounts have a pretty high minimum balance to maintain?.

I used to have a Sapphire Preferred Credit Card with 3% pts on dining and 2% pts on travel. What I really liked was the 60,000 pt sign up bonus which paid for $600 worth of nights at 5-star Bangkok & Jakarta Hotels at the time. But I canceled my card after I used all my points due to the $95/ year annual fee and the fact that I was just not using the card enough to justify the annual fee.

My everyday card of choice is the Capital One Venture Card with 2% pts on all purchases. That comes with an annual fee too, but the pts is simple to calculate and even simpler to use for reimbursements on any purchase. ANY PURCHASE.

In any case, I think the Schwab Debit card with no annual fees and no minimum checking balance requirements is still numero uno for cash disbursements abroad. The big risk is losing the card somehow while on the road. My back up is to bring along $1000 to $2000 cash reserves plus my regular Wells Fargo Debit Card which will charge ATM fees, ect, ect. But I will only use the WF Debit Card in an emergency because no matter what happens I want to keep the party going when I am on the road.

    Chase Debit Cards

And a few of the fees were $50+ USD due to the ATM charging an ATM fee based on a % of the withdrawal amount.

I also try to use Bradesco and Satander ATMs whenever possible.

Quick cap of my time here. I like the trash clubs in Centro and Vila Mimosa. A little background, I stayed here in Rio last year for 5 months straight, did the exact same thing as now, trash clubs Vila mimosa. I stayed with a Brazilian lady whose rent was only $200 USD a month (this is how and why I decided to stay 6 months last year, it was actually cheaper to stay with her than to go back to LA). I'm staying with her again this trip she cooks clean and doesn't mind me going out boning other women. In the now 5 months staying with her she never asked where I'm going or questioned me coming back to the apartment everyday at 1 am. Nice setup.

I like petite fit model type girls. I'm really into faces, I like a really pretty girl. Traditional model types. There's a girl name Livia that works at Onyx. That's my type. They have a website you can find there lineup. Session with her, very good soft feminine smiling chatty girl. I like her. I love watching her suck that meat. I love a pretty face sucking me. Onyx has a nice lineup. But I only session once (with the girl Livia). R200 1 hour. So like I said I like trash clubs I visit 210,116, and 13. Pretty much cycle through them clubs. Prices are at about R70-80 20-30 minute sessions. I only do 20 minute sessions. I'm the guy that searches for gold in trash spots. Found a girl I like at 210. Light skin curly hair sexy. Nice time with her. She also works at 13 (near dark room). 13 has nice talent. A really nice girl with her lip pierced again light skin curly hair. I'll go back for her tomorrow didn't feel like boning her today. Idk I don't like sessioning with a girl directly after another guy. I don't care if she had other clients before me that day hell 2-3-4 whatever but when I see her get chose by another dude I be thinking like "damn that coochie gta air out a little" before I go with her. Estranho andé? LOL.

Alright so 116 got a black girl with a nice ass booty in there right now. Boned her today (I usually bone 2-3 girls a day). Nice times. Inside the club area she told me she doesn't suck without a condom. I told her I love it and when we got to the room she changed her mind. Good coochie and mouth. Def work a visit. She got a damn near perfect body. And nice face. Cool chick. Tore her ass up. I like to fuck these girls good. Not just bend them over and crash out. Quick side note (actually very important side note) language. My first 5 months here I never tried to study the language. The lady I stay with speaks English so I never practiced. After I started to study Portuguese hard in June. 3-4 hours a day. Dude it's like night and day the service I get from them girls now this trip. You MUST talk to the girl a bit. You have to ask specifically the things you want from her. Everything should be discussed. My first trip here I barely would get blowjobs from the girls because I never interviewed or asked questions initially. I would just walk up and say "Quer um quarto comigo" want a room with me. And we would go. No I ask a lot of questions well not a lot just the shit I care about. "Chupa sem camise."
