As I am travelling to Rio with my wife (who doesn't mind 3somes with another women), I was wondering how it would be if I go with my wife to a place like Help to hook up with another women? Ofcourse my wife wants to be with me when we pick a women. Will the professionals in Brazil feel offended?

Help and the strip clubs are no problem at all. Termas' are a no go, although a long time ago Solarium did allow couples in one day a week.
You would probably be better off trying the swingers club 2A2, it has a website, or one of the ones in Barra.

Went to Centaurus last night with four of my friends
I have lived in Rio for eight months now , but never yet tried Centaurus, The prices put me off. My four friends are all first time Rio visitors.
We got there about 9PM , asked if we could see the talent , told we couldn't but told there were 85 girls and 27 men. Cost to get in R120 plus another R280 for 40 minutes if you program plus R20 extra if you use a credit card.
We changed into the robes , showered and entered the boite. I was immediately grabbed by two girls , who did their best to separate me from my friends , we ended up all sitting together, my friends each had one girl. I was pretty sure I wasn't going to program cause R280 for 40 minutes seems way too much for me. I live in Rio and I pay my regulars R100 to R150 for all night. The most I have ever ever paid was R201 for an all-nighter
The girls weren't hustling me for drinks so I offered them each one. My attitude is , if they ask I say no , if they don't I offer.
One of my girls spoke English the other did not , I can get by in Portuguese ( sort of ) so we talked in Portuguese. They were both grabbing my penis so fairly soon it got hard , they called it an anaconda , which is a laugh cause it's closer to a worm LOL.
They were really hustling for a threesome, the other girls of my friends suggested a festa , but since that was R500 each , or R2500 total for the hour we declined.
None of us ended up programming , me because I'm panduro , my friends though splash money around like drunken sailors just didn't fancy any girls.
I had always heard Centaurus had the best of the best girls. But of the 85 girls there I would have said there were a handful of 8s ,no 9s no 10s. Not one single girl was a WOW. My friends were slightly more charitable but not much.
What was offputting was the number of bodybuilder girls. I would say a quarter of the girls were seriously steroid muscular. I know a lot of Brazilians like that look but it turns me off. Seriously we could have been in a room full of travesties. I'd say a quarter of the girls there none of us would do even if they were free. I'm glad I went, cause I finally saw it, but we were all very disappointed in the quality. If you're into the hard-core bulging muscle body-builder girl then go,otherwise pass!

I will be in town on Sunday and plan to go to help. In previous years this was a great night as although not as busy as normal you had a lot of the GDP's from 4x4 and the other centro termas there to pick up a little extra. Is this still the case? Or should I try somewhere else as this is my only night in town. Both DSL and Cable based broadband is available in Rio but is does depend on where you live. In most places in Rio you can get DSL up to 8 Mbps. And it's cheap too. I seem to recall that it's only about $40 a month..... or was R40? Can't remember.
Reliability? Well, I suppose it's about as reliable as anything Brazil.

As for T-1, it's absolutely available from TeleRJ.

My 1m costs with a fixed phone around 150 reais a month.

I use MagicJack too and I agree it's great. Another nice feature is that when you're offline it will record voice mails for you and then email you a wave file so you have hear the voce mail.

I totally agree. I have used MagicJack during two trips to Rio. It worked perfectly both times.

I also love the voice mail messages sent to my e-mail.

During one of the trips, I was rooming with a friend who had Vonage. It worked fine too but it costs $24 a month. MagicJack is the better deal.

Wherever you travel in the world, simply connect a landline phone to your computer and connect MagicJack. I just called the U.S. and my number appeared on the caller ID of the person whom I was calling. They also called me in Rio with my U.S. number supplied by MagicJack, and their number appeared on my caller ID and the call went perfectly. Connection was great. All you need is an internet connection that is on. The cost of the call is zero!!

nice report junior,

you know the difference may be for me that i went to thailand first and then went to other destinations. for me thailand is a whole different animal than rio and the two cannot be properly compared to each other. i love them both for many diffferent reasons but i really love the fact that women are available on a p4p basis at both locations. one trip i may need some rio in my life, the other trip i may need a little pattaya.

one thing that divides my time with pattaya is that in pattaya there is no substitute for feeling like you are a total millionaire and getting out of your comfort zone money wise is tough to do. you can also rent a motor bike and that is a freedom in it self. riding from bar to bar in north, central, south pattaya, and then jomtien beach for even more bars... like a kid in a candy store. it's like a freedom that is only experienced over there because you are so in control of everything when money is no issue.

i remember i came out of my apartment one sunday in rio, before my plane took off for home, looking for some quick ass. meia pataca was all wet from rain (think of july '08 when you could throw a stone in helpee on a sunday and not hit anyone in the head, for those that were there) and there was no available ass at meia pataca. pressed on a sunday with two hours till cab time and no ass made me real nervous. in pattaya, not a problem more ass than you need to be available all hours of the day and night. the town is yours, walk where you want. no one is going to attack you or anything like that. it's all good in pattaya. get stumbling drunk and walk to your hotel? no problem! (though you may get pickpocketed by a tranny) the party never stops. what? lucifers is over? well lets just go to mixx or this or that... sun coming up? ok jp bar for crack of dawn partying... 10 or more clubs within walking distance of each other pumpin rap, rock, techno, arabic... they cater to the foreign sex tourist in pattaya. i really like that.

as for rio, the feeling of being in rio cannot be compared. walking along the beach on atlantica never can be equaled in pattaya. you have all versions of tall, short - dark and light in rio. you can even get these weird asian mixes beause of the japanese population in sao paulo. the sheer diversity of rio women cannot be equaled in asia. (though the black military mixes in angeles city philippines give me some real nice alternatives there). rio is a romantic major metropolitan city. pattaya is not very attractive and pretty unromantic.

given the same amount of money and a choice of both places i would probably go to pattaya. double that available amount of money to go to rio with and well then, i choose rio.

they both have big attractions for me. the prevailing reason i constantly still go to asia is because of my initiation into foreign p4p when visiting thailand. i am much more used to the girls and their shyness etc. there is a level of femininity that cannot be equaled by women outside of asia. that is just the way it is... (all my opinion)

Gents: As of today, prices at 4 X 4 have gone up. The price for a 40 minute session is now 160 Reals. The price for an hour in a regular cabin is now up to 200 Reals. When I go back I will try to get a breakdown on all the suites at their new rates if those have changed. Entrance price remains the same. More to come
