My first trip to Rio de Janeiro, I stayed in Ipanama. I remember a bit tits tight assed anal friendly hoar from Scortshow -- what was her name, white girl, super tight body, nice big ole natural knockers, big nipples to suck on like baby bottles, oh that will get all your freudian mama nipple feeding fantasies going, and then putting it up her willing nasty ass. I think you are asking can you party with a working girl in Rio. Yes, this is definitely more possible than picking up civilians. If you find the right vibe with a girl and use a bit of charm it can happen. Several guys here including myself have had turned hooker meet-ups into extended time hanging out.

The take home program hasn't been discussed lately, but the best places to try to connect with a working girl are termas. You have a chance to flirt, charm, etc. And with limited language they already basically know what you want. You can discreetly get their number and ask them what days they are available. Termas 4 x4 is closed weekends and most others are closed Sundays. Fridays at 4 x4 is a good evening to find a girl who will have time to hang out the next two days.

Your best bet is to find an attractive girl who can communicate a bit with you. When there's no communication, she will still come but want to leave in two hours or in the morning.

Most of these working girls appreciate being treated as a date. After sex, invite them to dine or drinks.

Everyone else pretty much covered it, I only converted with that one chick I mentioned, the rest were playing hard to get / playing games so I got tired of wasting all my time sweet talking and just stuck to darkroom and the other centro prives. It is pretty easy to get WhatsApp.

I am completely fluent in Portuguese, in my thirties and in shape, dress well, so as always ymmv. ID say it's exactly like picking up girls in the states, but you have the upper hand because when you say you're in Rio for a year for business, they assume you have lots of money which automatically raises your social value to them, they figure you're not some backpacker staying in a hostel trying to pump and dump them for a week.

But yea, if you have to use a translator to talk to non pros, unless you look like Brad Pitt I'd say it's near impossible and the cost (time) would be greater than the reward. That one chick never let me go raw either, which is the whole point of non pros. I have a lot more success in Colombia.

It's very easy to make the first move in Brazil, but without Portuguese you are likely going to have a more difficult time. I don't think anyone should get the impression that civilian girls in Brazil are all looking to jump into bed with foreign men. From my experience, Brazil is not as easy as Southeast Asia for making civilian connections.

There are a lot of obvious factors that will impact the probability of success. How young, how attractive and how much game you have will all be factors. Also, the longer you are in Brazil the easier it will be to make civilian connections. This leads me to an often repeated axiom tell the women you will be there for another month even if you are flying home in a few days.

I would not recommend Brazil for a pursuit of strictly non-pros especially with limited language skills. I became chummy with a crew of cool American twentysomethings in my hotel on a Rio trip. They were committed to the pursuit of non-pros. By day two or three with the abundance of pay for play options, they were like "I'm done trying to pick-up girls. I'm going to throw down some cash and get laid."

Go for the pay for play and spend some time chatting up the civilians. Perhaps you will get lucky.

Is 4 x 4 (Rua Buenos Aires 44) open again. They had a severe fire in late 2019 (three firefighters died). The COVID-19 hit. But it sound like it is open for business again? I will be in Rio in September 2022 for the first time in 4 years.

Thanks for the report and especially your MO at 4 x4. I spoke with the owner (or one of the owners) a few years back briefly, and had a few jokes with the mamazan while paying the bill, but it never occurred to me to chat them up. The only thing, I think Spidy is right, Rio is, well, diverse, and you should've taken in more territory than that. But there is always a next trip.

Fully agree with you that I should have seen more. I might swing back down there next year. I think if I understood Portuguese, I might have been more adventurous and ventured to more places instead of sticking to a routine.

There is one big difference. In 1993 Garota the Ipanema was very popular among papa-gringos. Lots of girls wanting to hook up with gringos and had sex for free. We used to call them the turma the batata fritas. If you bought them a chop and batata fritas you could be sure to get sex for free.

I must also say that Rio was a very nice city in the past, over 10 years ago. I am not sure if the current government or the Covid situation has caused this bad situation, but Rio has lost some of its beauty and flair to me. Very bad roads and not maintained walking streets. A lot of homeless people.

What puzzles me is the decline in talents Rio scene where girls are traveling to Sao Paulo or other cities to make money.

Rio is so popular with tourists so figure more business can be earned from travelers and gringos.

Rio is special place but bit disappointed with talents compare to Sao Paulo.

Just curious as to why only these two places during your week, while in Lapa, with all that downtown Rio has to offer? Or was it simply a matter of convenience?

It was a few factors for me for me. I checked out a few of the other places around Dark Room and wasn't impressed. 4 x 4 had a lot of Americans and I preferred talking to them over the BS conversations that hookers wanted to engage in. After my second day, I decided that it was a good routine to stick to and I preferred what I was getting from a two known bars / locations than continuously search for new experiences. Next time I come back, I think I'll only stay in Lapa and explore the other opportunities.

I see a lot of old gringos that are completely out of shape, poorly dressed and with no Portuguese trying to pull 20 something locals and it just looks pathetic. And to be honest it is insulting to Brazilian people.

I think what is more embarrassing is not their age or shape but it's insulting to the girl because most gringoes especially the older ones are viewed as sex tourists and you are embarrassing yourself and insulting the girl that she is a GDP working girl. You should know 100% if she is a working girl or not before you approach her if you're a slob.it’s just common sense.
