While I would say Rio doesn't have the same reputation as Thailand, I think most mongers would do well with some discretion. If you go to Rio once, perhaps you can tell all your family, friends and colleagues. If you are going a second, a third or a fourth time, keep it under your hat as they say in English.

Mr. E if you are a Continental European, there is less sensitivity to the world's oldest profession within Europe. In North American, there is certainly a strong stigma attached to mongering except in certain small groups of like-minded gentlemen.

I would not recommend Brazil for a pursuit of strictly non-pros especially with limited language skills. I became chummy with a crew of cool American twentysomethings in my hotel on a Rio trip. They were committed to the pursuit of non-pros. By day two or three with the abundance of pay for play options, they were like "I'm done trying to pick-up girls. I'm going to throw down some cash and get laid."

Most guys, especially Americans have a hard time understanding that the average civilian does not view you as the "Golden Ring". In fact, there is a stigma attached to dating gringos because the family / friends want to hear a good reason why you are in brasil. IE (You are working or have family). It's very easy to make the first move in Brazil, but without Portuguese you are likely going to have a more difficult time. I don't think anyone should get the impression that civilian girls in Brazil are all looking to jump into bed with foreign men. From my experience, Brazil is not as easy as Southeast Asia for making civilian connections.

There are a lot of obvious factors that will impact the probability of success. How young, how attractive and how much game you have will all be factors. Also, the longer you are in Brazil the easier it will be to make civilian connections. Girls are very keen on partying and having a good time.

Very friendly and if you got a decent knowledge of porto it can help a long way.

Everyone in rio just seem to want to have a good time.

Forgot to mention that nightclub. I visited it one time and will never visit it again. Not worth that time. Girls in the club were poor quality. Music forget it. Sound system totally shit.

You'll get best results from dolce vita on Thursday, Friday and Saturday between 1 am and 3 am. Any other time it won't be as good, during those hours club will be packed with a good amount of decent girls.

It is not a pick up scene. It is just talking to people as you could do anywhere in the world. Probably would not be able to talk to people on the fly like that without Portuguese.

Used to hit Rio once a year or so, back when I still lived in the west.

Long time ago now - 2003,04, 05,07.

2008 was my last trip.

Headed back for Carnival in 2023, and just researching the board. Amazing that most of the places that were around then are still here:

- Help is gone (sad. But then by 2008 it was showing it's age).

- 4 x4, Classico and Centaurus are still there. Wow. Fucking amazing.

- Even Vila Mimosa is still around. Spent plenty of nights in those crappy little rooms back in the day. Wonder if they'll be the same.

Saw this post and wanted to quote my experience, I used to take PrEP and every time I go to doctors I get Liver function test and my doctor never recommend this since it will put strain on your liver and kidney on the long run. Also, HIV through anal sex is very risky then vaginal if the partner have it.

Mostly I stick with girls from Seeking Arrangement and tinder and speak about companionship before travel etc. I also get some HIV testing kit from home (oraquick) as additional option and most of the girls don't mind getting tested in hospital if they are staying with me for week or two when we are traveling. I walked around that area at night and would say it is safe. Stay away from the garotas outside the club, because I find them ugly. Not worth. Be aware of the begging teenagers. One of them is of my blacklist, so the next time I will see him he will get some punches due to that he said something in portuguese during passing me.

After some per noites I decided to visit some boates and VM. First I hit the Club 31 in centro. Took a seat near the. Billiard table. About 3 girls at the. Beginning, later approx. Seven. One nice looking mulata and one very interesting Amazonian warrior type of girl. Good physique and very tough focused look and behavior. So two of seven good looking girls at that time in that boate.

Next I visited MV30. I didn't like that place and also the selection not to be mentioned further. One girl that I asked about VM, tried to hold me back from a visit. Two weeks ago an american was fucked by 2 garotas and 3 guys there. I don't know if that story was true and also not very scared of it, because I am not an american.

So hit that place by taxi and arrived a little bit too early at Mosaico. To be honest, I definitely not liked Mosaico. Also later that night I didn't like that spot. There were only 1-2 girls that would be interesting for me and I took the number from the one, which was looking very young and beautiful for her real age of 25. Between all that time, I walked up and down that street were the real action happens. I saw a lot places until this time, but this place is really great! Many different kind of images at this place and loud music in combination of the not so great smell puts your brain into another dimension. Hard to describe it, but you have to live and experience this moment right there. So I would recommend everyone to visit that place once in their lifetime, if they visit Rio. A lot of very young and sweet looking girls, but also thick and ugly ones. The passage where you walk in till the end and do a you-turn with many little bars left and right, was the most interesting. Porn on the TV screens, dancing topless girls, what a great amusement park. Like Disneyland for adults. At the end of that passage was a homeless man sitting on the floor and smoking two joints at the same time. Very crazy atmosphere.

Later more and more local teenagers overcrowded that passage. During my several passings they looked very different and angry on me, but again I didn't care much. The different bars on the street were not very interesting from my point of view and very low vibe. Also a rocker gang arrived during that night and went to casa 52 I think. Another bar that caught my interest was the place called the Vila at the very beginning of that street on the left. Sweet garotas dancing topless and with painted faces like Amazonian woman are maybe a specialty of that bar, so you can't oversee it. Did a session with one of the sweetest ones there. Until now the roughest, maybe comparable with that in Boate 116. Very good endurance of that girl, which was smoking cigarettes during the session and forced me to grab her hair and pull it back during doggy. Took also her number for possible sessions outside in another place. What surprised me was that they had paper to clean. One of the famous prives in centro even had no paper for cleaning. At the end she also organized me a taxi back to the hotel. Very crazy taxi ride. The driver ignored most of the redlights and took the corners with his Honda very sporty.

Concerning the security in that area, I never felt insecure. Concerning the cleanliness of this whole place called VM. I would say that you become accustomed after a period of time staying in Rio. Smell of piss in Rio is everywhere! Also for example in front of the restaurant Casa do Orient. But the food was good there, the mosquitos not so funny. Are the streets dirty, yes. But also in most places in side streets in centro. I must also say that Rio was a very nice city in the past, over 10 years ago. I am not sure if the current government or the Covid situation has caused this bad situation, but Rio has lost some of its beauty and flair to me. Maybe also the loss of Help and Luomo could be a reason for that feeling. Very bad roads and not maintained walking streets. A lot of homeless people. I never saw so many homeless people on the street in my life in a very bad condition and suffering so much pain. But ok, I also have never visited the US. Heard that they have also many many homeless people.

Just finishing this report on a very rainy and cold day here, I organized three additional per noites in a row with one prive girl, one terma girl and one Mosaico girl.
