So Vagabundo picks up Anne Amari today at Metro Carioca. She is petite and a good fit in many ways. She is having a conversation with her grandmother (Avo) when she arrives at Transamerica. She apparently is getting kicked out of the house. So, this is a stressful thing. I like her, but I have a little harem. Monica Mattos Mosaico 1 more or less got kicked out earlier this week, but it could be revived. She was in the tier 1 terma girl or freelancer slot. Mineira moved into that slot, kind of, yesterday with a super afternoon fuck session at her hotel in Lapa. Mineiras are always the best talent. Noemie Bilas is texting for pernoite, and Vagabundo wants to keep her in the harem. Ana Foxxx too is texting for pernoite, and Vagabundo told her Friday. Then there are the bros, all the ISGers are wanting to socialize and do things, and that is worthwhile too. The good thing about this time of year is that on 28 Feb, the church calendar says Carnival happens regardless of the Covid calendar, and Brazil runs on church time as far as its festivals, so Vagabundo hopes after 28 Feb, things will normalize, pricing wise.

Also, the girls were much more open to have their photo taken as they didn't worry about somebody sharing their photos on the internet.

Posts: 1173Are the drinks at the termas still cheap. I remember they were about 3 dollars so I had no problem buying one for the girls. She would actually go up with my number and bring both drinks to us. You didn't pay more for girl drinks like Mexico and Colombia. Is all that still the same.

I respect your views, and I hope you get to Rio sooner than later. As the economist notes, there is a pre and post pandemic world and they are not the same.
I ate at Marius less than 2 months ago with an ISGer from Italy, and it was $250 r. It's a once a month or quarter spectacular meal for those who love seafood, like me.
I will add, Cafe Marambaia in Guaratiba has the best paella I have ever had.
Cais do Oriente has become kind of a go to for centro mongering, as I was yesterday with two ISGers.
The bigger point, and the point of this thread is that Senor Anaggie and Senor Mr E were saying that all the Brazilian chow is similar. I'm just saying that there is some really good eating choices near the thing that makes Rio and Brazil unique -- the sex, which is the point of this board, after all.
Here are a few more excellent choices.
Nova Capella, Mem de Sa 96.

Contemporaneo, nearby on Gomes Freire.

Senor Bonhead had some recommendations in Humaita, as did Senor Bach123 in Leblon.
I take Senor Anaggie's point that there are perhaps even better restaurants, and women, in SP, but at a higher cost, and without the beach / waterfall hiking combinations which make Rio geographically unique. Its a matter of personal taste, like the Copa / Barra debate being whether you prefer Times Square (copa) or Miami and safety (Barra); SP, I know well too, but its just that I prefer actually swimming in the ocean, while also having a sex menu which is completely full from top to bottom tier, all colors, and for that Rio and Barra is optimal, perhaps a little like the Cartagena of the Marquez novels.
And without meaning any disrespect or harm whatsoever, I will suggest that some of those novellas, like Memories of my melancholy working girls by Marquez, might be a good antidote to Brazil Withdrawal Syndrome; I realize that much of what this particular board is is actually just reminiscences by men who are not in Rio, and who can only spend a small percentage of their time in Rio due to their circumstances.

Interesting article about the history of the monger scene in Copacabana. Between Princesa Isabel and Duvivier there used to be 50 clubs. It seems the opening of Help made many clubs had to close.
https://oglobo.globo.com/rio/bairros...creta-19610612
The Help history is also interesting. There used to be a great mansion Casa do Vaticano. A building that was a real beauty. After the mansion was demolished Help was constructed and opened in 1984. In the beginning Help was a very popular disco attracting regular people. The disco turned into a puteiro when gringos started going there and they started to let darker girls enter. The rest we all know. Help closed in January 2010. They started to construct Museu the Imagem e do Som which would be finished in 2014.

Now there are 2 churrascarias in NYC. One is Plataforma, the other one I don't remember; both are (were) within $30-50 range for lunch / dinner if they haven't hiked up the prices since the pandemics.
Sushi Leblon was good, but not great, and the dinner for 3 cost us over $200 although we did have a few drinks.
I'm not saying it's out of whack, but there are amazing sushi spots in Manhattan, some in the same price range or a little cheaper, some maybe slightly more.
Cais do Oriente and Na Brasa Colombia both sound fantastic, thanks. Hope to try them soon.
I'm not bashing Rio fine foods, just saying I wouldn't necessarily be looking toward spending big bucks in Rio's upscale restaurants since less pricey eateries make me happy as well.
Having said that, there is one churrascaria I love more than all others, including Marius and whatnot. Churrascaria Palace right across from Copacabana Palace. Small, intimate, classy, with quiet piano music and excellent meats. The location should make it a tourist trap, but it isn't. That and Confeitaria Colombo are two places I always visit in Rio. But I don't mind discovering more.

I do my best to avoid all the sex-clubs in Copacabana as they are rip-off joints. If I'm not mistaken same of those clubs still have strip tease, Casablanca, Kalabria. Those clubs calls themselves boates. Another example, Barbarella that closed 2020 used to call itself boate or boite.

Posts: 2246Costly as Fuck? The difference is cheap pussy in Rio
The prices for the meals -- compared to NYC or LA -- is still cheap.
Let's see.
Aconchega Carioca, top dish there is a pumpkin stuffed with shrimp, $200 reais.
https://www.facebook.com/aconchego.carioca/
Cais do Oriente (where I ate today with two ISGers), the excellent prixe fixe menu is $70 reais plus beverage (I recommend the lemonade suisse). That's $14 US Dollars. For a 3 course meal. 100 meters from 4 x4 and 65.
https://caisdooriente-rj.com.br/
Marius in Leme.
http://marius.com.br/
The all you can eat is $250 reais. Expect $300 with drinks and other charges. But all you can eat oysters, etc. Badass.
Na Brasa Colombia, Barra, Olegario Maciel 7 (closest terma, and best IMHO for all Rio, is Perola Negra, Ave de Pepe 400).
https://nabrasacolumbia.com.br/barra/
You can expect to pay $250 all in. $160 for salmao na brasa, or my favorite, filet de peixe bel munier, for enough to serve 2. Again, I recommend the limonade suisse. The salada caprese is excellent. Everything is good. Locations all over Rio, including Botafogo, Copa, Recreio. Botafogo is the original, and it is located at the top of the social economic food chain (Exec Talent will hate me for saying that). Again, that's $50 US Dollars, which is not all that much in the rich world, $250 reais is a few fucks in Rio, so it is valuable consideration.
OK, all that said, what it is harder to get in those rich world venues you mention like LA or NYC is cheap, good, super hot Carioca pussy. That's the point. The top tier food and top tier hoar combination goes a long, long way towards being about all that a man wants in life -- the 6 s's -- shit, shower, shave, supper, sex, sleep.
