There is no question that I prefer double fried French fries, a fresh baguette, or a good plate of Italian pasta among other foodie items when I want to eat some flavorful, heavy, carbs with a high caloric density. But Farofa does not have to taste like bland sawdust. I think it depends on who is doing the cooking and what seasonings and herbs they include to make the dish a little more palatable.
