Vagabundo went into Centro today with the plan to hit Velha Havana to trade and do some internet work. The luxury bus 2338 from Av das Americas was not running as it is middle of carnival, so I took a city bus to metro botafogo, and then took metro to uruguiana. PV118 is quite the expert on the. Centro scene, and spending some time with him provides a full data dump. 202 is the place that centro and zona sul pro girls go after midnight, kind of a mosaico but in centro. Mosaico is the place the working girls go after midnight, next to VM.

Speaking of the JW Marriott make sure your girl has the original ID document or has access to the government app on her phone to show her ID. I had an issue this past week bringing in a girl from 4 x4 who didn't have her ID but she assured me that they let her in with a pdf before. So I said ok. But if they don't let you in, we come back to the club and I get my money back.

Upon checking in, they wouldn't accept the pdf document like I told her. So there was a lot if going back and forth. I had to tell them that I am a loyal customer with titanium status and they can check into the records that I always have a guest and there are no issues.

To those with boots on the ground, how is Carnival going? Many tourists? Not sure if it recovered after covid or not.

I'm not seeing many European or North American tourists. Many more from Spanish speaking countries.

Some streets were jammed with Carnaval partygoers. Some ladies walking the streets in skimpy bikinis far from the beach.

Have to disagree about hotels. Most in Rio are unfriendly, but yes, some friendly ones have been discussed in this thread (Hilton, JW Marriott, Fairmont, Hyatt and a few others probably).

1 - Hotels rarely have an issue, there are tons mentioned on this forum just run a search.

2 - BB is something the chick has to agree to, its not offered as a standard service and most are not providing it for anyone but their regulars or men they really like. Its not as common as it is in Asia though.

3 - Clubs are where the freelancers hangout, but they are also online on dating apps too. Its Brazil, they are swarming all over the place. You do need to be cautious with the apps though.
