Thanks for the great report! Good details and color on the scene. It's always good when a member is willing to share contact info. As I have said before, these girls aren't waiting for us to come back and they likely need the business.

You seem like you already know this, but I will mention the best time to go to 4 x4 is between 5 pm and 7 pm. Termas 4 x 4 is a weekday, after work downtown scene. Many girls have already went home by 11 pm.

The downside of going is more dicks, but definitely more chicks. It's also more festive.

    Vagabundo's Gear List

    Vagabundo's Gear List.

Further to the sandals, which are winners, I would say this about gear:

    1. Shop at decathlon.

Freeway Center, Av. Das Americas, 2000 - Barra the Tijuca, Rio de Janeiro. RJ, 22640-101.

    https://www.decathlon.com.br/

It is a global brand, with stores in rich world locations like San Francisco. The French are culturally neutral. Even Brazilians who hate gringos like the French, because the French are libertines, the monger of mongers. The gear thus does not scream out " I am a gringo, rob me". It could have been gear you bought in Brazil, and you could be Brazilian, if of course, you don't open your mouth and talk.

    2. Do wear a vasco covid mask, and or vasco shirt. Pick one up at metro uruguiana.

    3. Do wear bombeiro gear, like the lifeguard cap that a new ISG walkon friend bought the other day (I guess we met at 4 x 4, and I added him to our local whatsapp group). I am not talking about wearing " full bombeiro" from head to toe. I am saying wear a piece of bombeiro local gear, like the pants, and the lifeguard (guardia do piscina) cap AND a vasco mask. That says, " I am a off guard civil bombeiro or at least a lifeguard therefore do not fuck with me because the people who legally carry guns are licensed by the same regulator as me" (the pool lifeguard at your pool, has to do 50 meters in 50 seconds and pass a test after a 2 month course on lifesaving techniques).

    4. Buy grey preferably, or black, molle / velcro packs for your travel gear, from either decathlon or from 5. 11 tactical. Khaki packs will get inspected on bus trips because they scream out military. Have a Texas velcro patch because god bless fucking Texas (and Switzerland). We need need need a good honky tonk night at some of the better clubs to attract more cowboys, gauchos. Call it a lifetime aspiration.

    https://www.511tactical.com/rush-moab-10.html

In double tap (any monger who brings me one of these, vagabundo will gladly pay in local dinheiro and give you a few days of guided tour of the best of Rio's sex venues). The Moab10 sling bag is by far the single best bag for Rio mongering in my experience, limited though it is. I guess I could get amazon to deliver it. I just need to get off my ass and do it.

    https://www.511tactical.com/rush-moab-6.html

The Moab10 is a close second. OK, practical tip. Both of those bags have a CC pocket. That pocket works great for your cell phone, and may even save it from theft. In fact, there are TWO CC pockets -- the CC pocket which is designed for a pistol, but would work for a cell, weed, a knife, or any other item; and a water reservoir pocket, which actually works great for a small 11 inch laptop like the old Macbook Air 11 (which memo to apple, apple should make again, but I digress).

    https://www.511tactical.com/rush24-2-0-backpack.html

In the double tap, dark navy color. Not khaki. (vagabundo has been inspected on a bus trip to buzios because he had a khaki bag).

    https://www.511tactical.com/apex-pant.html

The apex pant is the alpha uniform pant. However, it is not local manufactured so locals will know you are wearing a gringo made pant. You can with any work find the locally made police pant. You don't want to wear police gear as 50% of the population will want to cut your nuts off. You do want to wear bombeiro civil (civil fireman) pants, because it says: 1) you are official, and the official police will protect you 2) the criminals respect you too because you are just maintenance when you walk around the buildings. All this gear is grey. In SP the cops wear grey, and the recognition rules are different. But the 5. 11 gear is top shelf.

The apex pant also has: a CC pocket for flex cuffs, just in case. Zip ties are endlessly useful. A CC pocket for a handcuff key. Ditto.

    5. cloths.

ABC pant. Anti Ball Crushing. 'nuff said. Dressy, designed for yoga. If you only pack one pant, this is the best one.

    https://shop.lululemon.com/c/men-pan...atedexperience

All your cloths could and probably should be lulu gear -- metal vent polo shirts, the girls like to sleep in this, if its good enough for their tits pernoite, it's good enough for me; the pacebreaker shorts with the CC pocket.

You can find dress shirts, which are made in such a way as you could wear them as rashguard swim shirts. They are so nice that criminals back in the rich world stole them from Vagabundo.

Stuff it all in a 5. 11 tactical (use the tier system to stack packs together) ,or even better decathlon pack.

    6. Extra credit. Home Depot.

Everywhere you go, you see gringo brands like Stanley. Nothing says don't fuck like me like a man who has a drill and other powertools with rechargeable batteries, except maybe a Swiss Naval Infantry corporal with a 7. 5 mm x 55 assault rifle, and it would be hard to get the SIG rifle into Brazil, unless you swam in after taking a little rubber boat to the 12 mile limit. A man who carries a street legal spear gun also says, "don't fuck with me" and you can find dive shops on rua alfandega (where 502 is). Go up and get your James bond on. In those shops you will find people who will carry and maybe sell you firearms, which are pretty much the same as spear guns. You can also find hatchets, and if you are so inclined to be ready to defend yourself, you could practice throwing those. You can find taser / flashlights on a tactico shop on rua gomes freire -- 367 to be exact.

But to my point, Home Depot gear is recommended for extended stay mongers, and in these endemic times, any trip could turn into an extended say. I recommend Ryobi rechargeable power tools, first and foremost the mini speaker. But, that said, all the Home Depot gear is top shelf. From the cloths to the knives (the Milwaukee duct knife is the best combat dagger you ever need, and at $20 is very affordable; the SOG SEAL Strike is a top shelf folding knife, and any monger who brings Vagabundo one again, will be rewarded with several days of combat sex patrolling).

I would even recommend the Home Depot sold packs for the career maintenance guy. Gringo brands are all over Rio, so you could still be a local even if you carry Stanly packs. Carhart jeans, pants, shirts, are so universal that French porn stars wear them. And the great majority of poor cariocas are in fact honest, working people who are somehow employed in the status of Rio de Janeiro as a working port -- huge containers ship dot the horizon off the beaches from copa to barra, every few kilometers, all day, every day. The Brazilian military academies of at least 2 services are all along the harbor from 1 distrito naval to urca (the military academy).

    7. Patagonia.

The capilene line of mid weight kayaking shirts is solid. Vagabundo wears one bought almost 30 years ago for kayaking on lake lugano enroute to battle with the evil Italians who run brothels in their decrepit, corrupt country, the bastards!

Ideally, your gear should be 40 pound pack, 10 pound carry on. Over 18 months vagabundo's stuff has grown to higher amounts of weight. That said, walking with a pack is both a cardio and a weight work out.

Great report, sorry I missed you. I was waiting for a pernoite from Ana Foxxx which unsurprisingly, she flaked on (50% flake rate for dates should be expected). I would be interested to know where you contracted for the sunset sail?

As I have said here and elsewhere on ISG, blackfemdom and femdom are winning themes in the global sex / porn market. Let's designate your female friend either callsign Kamala, Ivanka, or Melania, according to preference. And a report from HER on her session at 4 x 4 would be priceless!

Must Read on Rio / Brazil colorism / security. AAR on raid that killed 27

Must Read on Rio / Brazil colorism / security. AAR on raid that killed 27.

    https://www.economist.com/the-americ...y-black-people

The image is very good. It should be used as an "overlay" on your map of Rio, especially the rio metro map.

The reason that JimmyBoy is such a good monger, and a good wingman if you can get him, is that he is brilliant in the basics. He chooses to live at Hotel Atlantico Tower, which is dead center of the metro map. He uses the metro, and the city buses. From there, he can: 1) walk to all the centro prives, which is the dividing line of north and south (though not technically, as the economist map divides zona norte differently, including centro in zona norte; I always use North of Av Vargas as Zona Norte); 2) take the metro to zona sul beaches; 3) take the metro to tijuca prives, ie massagemtijuca, annesmassagem.

The map and the story from economist.com rehashes what we discussed a few months back, ie, the jacarazinho (sp) police raid.

At dawn on May 6th residents of Jacarezinho, a favela in Rio de Janeiro, woke to the sound of police helicopters and gunfire. Ten hours later, 28 people were dead, nearly all of them black men. Mariana de Paula, a 27-year-old accountant and activist who lives on the morro ("hill", as steep favelas like Jacarezinho are called), told her boss that it was too dangerous to travel to the office. Her boss, who is white, suggested she use a ride-hailing app. "She didn't get it," says Ms de Paula, who is black. The shooting sounded like popcorn. The victims included one police officer, shot by drug traffickers, and 27 residents killed by the police. Some were unarmed. It was the deadliest police raid in the state's history.

When the shooting stopped, Ms de Paula began her commute down alleyways that zigzag to the bottom of the morro, through a tunnel from Rio's poor Zona Norte to the rich Zona Sul, and finally to Barra the Tijuca, a beachside strip that is 72% white. In mostly white neighbourhoods in Rio flats can cost 2,000 reais ($400) per square foot. Their inhabitants blame poverty and corruption for the violence that plagues the city. But a growing chorus from Ms de Paula's Rio, the mostly black peripheries and favelas, suggests there is more to it than that.

Black Brazilians are increasingly arguing not only that the police are too trigger-happy but also that their violence is sometimes racially motivated. In 2019 Brazilian cops killed 6,357 people. In the state of Rio they killed 1,814: nearly twice as many people as cops killed in the United States, which has a population 19 times as large. Eight out of ten Brazilians killed by police are negros, a grouping that combines the official racial categories of preto, "black", and pardo, "brown" or "mixed". (Throughout this article, "black" refers to the unofficial category of negros.) Police killings tripled between 2013 and 2020 and now represent around a third of all homicides in some states.

Part of the explanation lies in history. Brazil was the last country in the Americas to outlaw slavery. Though former slaves did not suffer formal segregation of the kind imposed by South Africa or the American South, poverty and laws criminalising vagrancy and African religions had a similar effect. Rio "civilised and modernised itself by expelling second-class citizens to the morros", writes Zuenir Ventura in "Cidade Partida" (Divided City, 1994).

Black people too poor to live elsewhere built shantytowns (see map). Their residents became cheap labour for factories in Zona Norte and white families in Zona Sul. Today black Brazilians are 56% of Brazil's population but 70% of the poor. Unemployment is 17% for blacks versus 12% for whites. White Brazilians earn almost twice as much as black ones do.

    Quick Trip Report

Just got back from about a week in Rio. Quick trip report for you guys.

    AIRFARE.

American, around $700 RT from the US. No problems, flights were full but customs / immigration was quicker and easier than ever. Last time I went you had to have a visa so it's nice to not have to do that anymore.

    ACCOMMODATION.

We stayed a week at a penthouse on Copa with a big hot tub, off Rua Bolivar (Posto 5). I've stayed there before and it's pricey but worth it. A bit more worn down than last time I stayed. Franky at RiosFinest has been a good contact over the years and I'm glad to bring my business to him. Absolutely no issues with girls, porter was supposed to check IDs and stuff but really didn't when we got in after hours. (Kind of wish he would have but whatever.). Ended up being like $200 a night for a 3 BR. If you need the contact information let me know. (This was way more expensive than $200 a night the first time I stayed there.).

We had a super late flight the last day so moved next door to the Pestana Atlntica so we could shower and stuff. Totally girl friendly but the room was old and the bed sucked. Glad we didn't stay there for the whole time.

    GIRLS.

We got in on a Friday. I was with my two friends, one a guy and one a girl. Both are open minded. Went to Mabs and saw nothing first night. Honestly Mabs was a waste of time all the times I went there.

Then went to Dolce Vita. Good selection there on Friday. My buddy found a girl then I found a girl with a friend. He ended up taking his first girl and my girl's friend (against my advice). They said they wanted 300 R each, which was fine. When we got back to the room, his first girl said she wanted $100 and gave him attitude. He ended up giving it to her. I went with my girl and he went with his $100 girl and my girl's friend. The next morning we found the first girl stole some money from my friend, as well as my sunglasses and cologne. Not a big deal, but the lesson here is: Two of them is almost never twice as good and certainly not worth twice the money. And two girls that don't know each other is just a waste of time. It was his first time in Rio, so a valuable lesson learned. My girl was hot and did everything I wanted, and I got her number but she went with some guy to Switzerland a few days later.

I took 3 shots on Photoacomphantes (informed by GParena) and 2 went well and one not great. (Had to give one cab money and send her home.).

The gem I found was Laura from Fortaleza. She was tall, skinny, and I think very beautiful. And she let me do whatever I wanted, including facials and beijos negros. And she wanted 200 R. Always followed up on WhatsApp. I ended up seeing her 3 times. I wish I could take her home with me. I am attaching her pic (which she took in my room so it's real). PM me for her number. She's a very nice girl.

I took my male buddy to 4 x4 one night and it was his first time in a place like this. We got there after 11 on a Tuesday and I thought the pickings were slim, but he thought it was the greatest thing ever. Bought him a session, he is now a friend for life.

Interesting that 4 x4 now allows the option of wearing a robe or not. I kind of prefer the robe requirement but apparently they're making it an option because some people are uncomfortable with robes. Okay, fine.

Attaching the 4 x4 price list for inquiring minds. Also you can text them on WhatsApp at +55 21 96564-4440 and they'll answer your questions. I met the lady who runs it and she was kind to us. (Also helped me locate my lost cell phone.).

While I was at 4 x4 I inquired about bringing my GF there the next day. I knew they didn't allow girls before, but I was surprised to see they welcomed her. We were supposed to go Wednesday to meet Vagabundo but she was tired and wanted to hang at the hot tub so sadly I missed meeting him and others. We went back the next day and the door guy said she could go in the Whiskeria but not upstairs to the termas. I showed him my text with the lady, he confirmed, and no problem. My GF couldn't wear a robe, but she could go in. They sent over a bi girl and they hit it off and went for a session (without me). Not sure how true this is but she said that she was told that they had been equipping certain rooms for women and everyone clapped when she went to the room because she was the first to do so. (Take this with a grain of salt because she knows no porto.).

My buddy went with a new girl with braces who was apparently fantastic. He extended his session from 30 to 90 minutes. Apparently just nonstop great BBBJ. I went with a half Japanese girl who was cool and good at what she does. Two thumbs up for 4 x4. My session, my gfs session, many drinks, filet mignon ended up being 1100 R or so. Good deal.

When 4 x4 termas closes the Whiskeria downstairs is still open. We went downstairs and my friend noticed a girl he liked. Struck a deal for 400 R back to Copa and they left. She stayed several hours and treated him well. I think next time I come I'll spend more time at 4 x4.

    OTHER

We went in August (Winter) and it was a little colder than I'the prefer. We got lucky on the sun and rain. It only rained our last two days there. When it rains, might as well make it a termas day. Of course, this being my friends' first trip, we did all the tourist stuff during the day. I won't bore you with that, except to say that the Museu de Amanha is just okay and that a sunset sail in Guanabara Bay is totally worth it. Churrascaria Palace is better than Carretao. I miss Porcao. Drinks at Princess Copacabana (or whatever we are calling it now) are very good, especially if you like stuff you can't order most other places, like Old Fashioneds.

I started going to Rio in 2007-2008 during Help days. Things have changed, and honestly it's less fun than when you could pull from Help / Barbarella. But it's still one of the best destinations I can think of, especially now. When I started going, the exchange rate was 2. 5:1 or so with the USD. Now it's double that. Things are *so* cheap, from food to drinks to tours to girls. If you're thinking about going to Rio, do it! I will likely be back at the end of the year.

    Hope this helps!

So I brought my old unlocked phone and I was able to download some (not all tho) BR apps. The washing machine in the condo I was staying in SP required you to download an app and pay thru there to use it. Luckily I was able to use it but when I went to Ibraque Park I couldn't download the bike rental app.

I always purchase unlocked phones. Current Burner Phone is a Dual Sim Pixel 4 with Google Fi (with Flexible for 1 service plan). I get service right off the plane. I'm done hunting for SIM Cards. With the Pixel 4 I do have the ability to get an additional SIM Card.

At any given time, there are girls like Mayara Rodrigues in Rio.

That is music to my ears. I can't wait to go to Rio. Mayara Rodrigues is my all time favorite Brazilian pornstar. God help those Brazilian buttholes if I make my way down there. My LAA is going to be higher then Canes when I get there.

    Royal Rio Palace Hotel

I know there is a hotel and apartments thread but this place gets more eyeballs.

Was looking into getting a good airbnb in copa but I just saw a great offer for $45 a night for a super luxury double room at royal rio palace hotel that includes breakfast and is by posto 2.

The airbnb is $55 a night so the hotel is actually a good deal if its decent and was wondering if anyone had any recent experience with that hotel?

I generally don't like hotels because they feel very cold, procedural and bland and I like to have my freedom to do things like wash my own clothes in my room.

Hotels in rio I seen are a hit or miss (moldy rooms, broken ac, terrible staff) unless it's a established brand like Marriott, Shareton or Hilton and with my last encounter with the Grand Hyatt in SP I don't have an affinity for these places as much.

Only reason I like SP is the airbnb over there are plentiful and you can get a great condo for $35 (gym, pool, balcony, full kitchen, 15th story room, washing machine and centrally located).

I've read some reports that some hotels are being renovated or already are this year so I'd like to hear some feedback. It'd be greatly appreciated!

I'll be in Brazil in September (7 days in SP, 10 days in Rio) so I'll be posting my experiences once I land and hopefully with my previous experience and new intel from you guys I can accomplish a whole lot more.

Also for people talking about bringing a burner phone I would recommend it but for another reason.

If you talking about the porn star Mayara Rodrigues, she's 42 now. She probably hasn't been paid for a scene in several years.

There have always been women in Rio who have shot porn. If that's what someone desires, they can find them. The best of them were working in the 2000's.

    Kelly Oliveira,

    darkroom.com. Be

But, you only can fuck so many girls a week.

A few weeks ago, I fucked Kelly on a Sunday.

    https://www.bradmontana.com/atrizes/kelly-oliveira/

She is hotter than any SP girl, I am willing to bet; and expert porn players agree.

I bet she is getting taken off the market by being overpaid in Euroland; but I also believe she is a true carioca resident of RJ, and to Rio she will return. For every one like her (and she has a 4 year old kid, and she is like 19), there are many more to be had, especially in the relative wilds of Niteroi and further towards Buzios where she is from.

At any given time, there are girls like Mayara Rodrigues in Rio.

    I was at 4 x 4 tonight.

You can't tell me that there are hookers hotter than a certain Pietra. Jimmy Boy fucked her last night. Then she went into a suruba with a 5 guys x 5 girls. And next week sometime, if I have enough fluid left in my body (which is why I am quitting alcohol) I too will enjoy her in a hydromassagem at a motel, and possibly later at my apartment.

    I had a normal day.

I missed my luxury bus into centro, so I took a city bus. It was raining so I got some wear out of and broke in a little more my desert boots, and my old Goretex Jacket from when we Swiss Naval Infantry embedded with our allies walked over hills in Korea. I got to Sans Pena, hopped on the metro, met up with Jimmy who was knackered from banging Pietra. I then linked with a cool battle buddy friend I made at 4 x4, who went to darkroom.com.br.

    This place rocks!

It is on the 20th floor, in penthouse 6. It is a little hard to find, as such. But it is a prive with a deck. There were 10 girls. You can find the address on the site.

    I highly recommend it.

But, I had forgotten my Cialis and Viagra, so I went back down to the street after my wingman picked a nice piece of tail to bang.

Then I got some meds, and patrolled over to one of the usual suspect prives, and cranked out a 1 hour session for 120 r.

Anyway, we then went to some spots in centro, picked up a flashlight / taser (my old one died; I recommend non lethal items for protection, as a first option). I am tired AF, as I have been training more. And my fucking is getting better, witness my 3 hour fuck on Tuesday. Look, gents, the girls want you to drink and smoke etc so you will not fuck as well. It's your choice.

So, then we went to 4 x4. It was too busy to really make headway with the best girls who were monopolized by the quasi criminal high rollers with their bottle service, though I did chat up some girls obviously, like Pietra. The locals hate we foreign mongers, and seek to cock block us. But whatever, we will get in there.

I guess I had some philosophical thoughts about sex addiction and whether it is sustainable to be a functional sex addict. But, then I decided to just keep fucking hookers and forget all that pussy ass bullshit!
