In two weeks I'm embarking on my first trip to Brazil and Rio.

I have read virtually every single post in the Rio forum since just before the Covid crisis hit the world (had tentative plans to go last summer). I have also read most longer posts all the way back through 2018.

Looking at the forum and searching online there don't seem to be a lot of girl friendly hotels. I would appreciate advice on hotels. Preferably I would like to keep the daily rate around 40 Euro or lower, but I can go as high as 60 Euros. Of course I want the hotel to be in Centro, close to the action.

Hotel Windsor Guanabara looks nice, and it seems each room has a balcony / terass which I like since I am a smoker. I also found a budget alternative that doesn't look too bad, Hotel OK, but I'm not sure if it's close enough to the action being located just north of "Praa Passeio Pblico".

I'd also like to know if Rio is a good place to find a girl that stays with you for a few days or a week, like in Thailand. My usual MO on my mongering trips is that the first few days are about quantity, the next few days about quality and the final few days / week I settle for the GFE with one girl.

Based on advice on here I've decided to stay in Cococabana but my best off staying close to the beach or is there a better area? I plan on spending quite a bit of time on the beach so what do I do with my stuff when I'm by myself and In the water so it doesn't get stolen any suggestions? In other countries I just left my belongings unattended and never had an issue however I have read on here that there's a high chance my stuff could be stolen doing that.

Also is there a map that somebody can link to you with all the different mongering locations around Rio? Thanks!

Mosaico used to be one of my favorites. I remember the place packed with people, 20-30 girls, non-stop funk music and naked pole dancing. The last time I had a session there was in mid 2019. Conclusion: don't bother with these clubs (and probably the others) on a Monday night.

What you experienced on your tour was pretty much equal to what I had experienced late last year. Girl quality is generally pretty bad. Good quality girls can be found in these 'darkside' clubs but it will take a lot of visits and some luck before you can uncover one. From my experience last year, the only one really worth visiting was Rua Uruguaiana, 210. They had the most girls and the best quality (out of the 'darkside' clubs). Still, for me, I do get some excitement and enjoyment out of going to these clubs.

I don't know if you're staying at a hotel or apartment, but don't stay 'close' to the beach. Stay across from the beach on Avenida Atlantica. Sure, 1-2 blocks from the beach don't sound like a big deal, but that puts you on Nossa Senhora, which is noisy, polluted, unpleasant and might be an unsafe walk down a side street late at night. Trust me, this one or two blocks (depending where in Copa you're staying) makes a hell of a difference even if staying on Atlantica costs you a few more shekels. The only exception is if you're staying in Arpoador. I love that small area between Copacabana and Ipanema, and there are some upscale apartments there with killer views.
