I think it is 270 R for 30 minutes and 390 R for an hour for the simple cabins. The prices for the bigger suites are higher.

I recommend paying for one of the larger cabines (versus the most basic one) just to get a little bit more space. It's well worth the price for more comfort to do "the nasty" in.

I write this not to stir controversy, but rather as another data point to add to this forum in which we all share our experiences. When we travel for this hobby, we all have different goals, expectations, budgets, and non-negotiables. For me, the goal is to sleep with as many top tier (by my standards) beautiful women I can in about 4-6 weeks. My expectation is that the Brazilian girls will live up to their famed reputation, and also that with quality research, I can find the experiences I'm looking for. My pre-conceived notions of a solid budget were poorly framed as I quickly realized that one if one has certain tastes, you will have to pay. Without delving into the socioeconomic and racial realities of Brazil, if you are looking for top shelf brancas, you're going to have to pay more and go to different places. Yes, you can find quality brancas in places like VM and darkside termas, but that takes effort, which brings me to my final point. Some things are non-negotiable for me. I have spent a significant part of my young life in suffering, albeit for a good cause, and thus I do not desire to "work" while I am on vacation. Quality and convenience are non-negotiable for me once I have done my due diligence research of visiting all the places that must be visited (hence why I went to VM and the darkside termas previously). I do not want to spend my days and nights looking for what I want. I want to show up to a place with the types of girls I am looking for and enjoy myself in a safe, comfortable setting. At the end of my trip I will write a sort of all inclusive newbies guide to Rio, with a focus on the aforementioned subjects, so that those with similar tastes as mine can plan their trips appropriately. This is not to attack or otherwise insult the wise gentlemen of this forum looking for a bargain deal, but rather to more easily lay out the options for the lazy monger, like myself.

It recently came to me why there may be some differences among us hobbyists when it comes to how we monger. We are primal creatures and thus largely enjoy overcoming a challenge. We seek the adventure. Back home, I am constantly putting in the work to get with non-pros. Hell, even here I've been putting in the work with non-pros. But when it comes to mongering, I am not trying to work. I want to sit back, relax, and enjoy. For the older, perhaps married monger, this hobby may in fact be a mechanism to accomplish the aforementioned objective. This monger seeks the adventure and finding the diamond in the rough because he is appealing to his primal nature that may not be as active in his other life. He seeks the best deal and always wants to come out on top. I could be wrong on this, but it is a thought I had recently. Again, this is not an insult to anyone, but rather my musings of an explanation to describe some differences in perspective among the members of this board. There is no right or wrong way to monger in this regard and I mention it to add perspective the next time someone decides to chastise another board member for doing something like "overpaying" or refusing to go to a sketchy part of town. On the same hand, it also serves as perspective to defend the monger who puts in the work for us all and goes above and beyond to find all the best deals and locations. I am grateful for the latter monger specifically because it is he who paves the way! He is the Lieutenant Rowan, if you will.

The night starts with MiamiBoy informing me he is on his way to 4 x4. Upon his arrival, he tells me that the quality is not that great but he will wait it out for a little bit. I use the opportunity to bite the bullet and head on over to MC, just to check the quality before perhaps going to Solarium or Centaurus. Once I get to MC, I quickly change into my robe and head upstairs to the bar to grab a beer. I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me as the quality was much better than anything I have seen thus far here in Brazil. I think my first trip to Solarium would be comparable, but alas it was weeks ago and my memory on the matter is not that reliable. There were perhaps 20 girls of which only 2-3 I would not have sessioned with. Keep in mind gentlemen, if you haven't been able to tell from my reports thus far I am very picky. Now, I think the session is going to be ruined since I basically just slashed this girl's perceived earnings a bit. But man was I wrong. We got to the room and she put on a show. It is really pretty decent overall and as someone who appreciates convenience, I am happy these facilities are present.

After I clean up a bit, I head back upstairs to tip my waiter. Why? Everywhere I go I like to build a good reputation with the establishment. This paid off once upon a time in Bogota, but that is a story for another time. I head down to the reception and prepare to face the bill. I am not anxious, but of course I expect some hassle of a gringo tax or whatever. Seeing the bill, I am floored. The numbers couldn't be right. I had the entrance fee, a few beers, a water, 40 minutes with a girl, and the standard room for about R550? Every time I've gone to 4 x4 I've basically paid the in the R400's range for the same thing. Sure, most of the time I've drank a little more but the marginal difference here was unbelievable. At this point I'm thinking there's no way MC is only slightly more expensive (I. E. 20 USD) than 4 x4. What did I miss the first time? Oh yea, I had a threesome in a suite for an hour last time I was here LOL. I examine the bill closely and it is indeed accurate, as each thing is itemized by the price. I pay, walk out the door, and give the doorman a small tip. I head back to my hotel to write this report.

What is the takeaway here?

Well, it is just another data point. I had a good experience at MC for only a fraction more than what I've been spending at 4 x4. This just goes to show that experiences vary. I am happy I went and it was money well spent.

So the Cupid sites price discriminate just like the chicks do. Charge one price one place and another price another place, all for the same site. Maybe some people will think the USA or European signup is higher quality because it costs more.

Yeah no worries. I just checked and it's 750 ARS (Gold) and 1000 ARS (Platinum) for one month. And still the 3000/4000 price per year.

In my opinion it's probably the best value you could get. SA is like 10 x the price. Probably not 10 x the value but to each their own.

SA doesn't work BTW with this method. They have global pricing which is consistent.

All you need for the countries I have used this is to pipeline for 1 month and afterwards you can let the account expire. Probably the best investment / payoff ratio you could ever hope for.

Mosaico had a really big party on wed evening, the place was loaded with people. Unfrtunately, there were so many people that the cabins were full all night and I didn't have time to grab my favorita!

If the cabins at Mosaico are full it only takes less than 1 minute to go to Hotel Canario.

Emerging back on into the street I feel as if I am reborn. My pulse slows and I begin to relax. I explore a bit further down, there are two other alleyways but they are not as enticing as this first axis, and so I stroll leisurely back up the street, still undiscovered and unnoticed by the locals. If on some rare lark one were to session here, your Portuguese would need to be on point, as there is no margin for error. Personally I would not feel comfortable enough to relax and enjoy myself. As I saunter slowly back to Mosaico to catch another uber I feel like I have seen enough to understand there is indeed a limit to my own fetish for the danger and excitement provided by sketchy surroundings. Crazy thing that happened to me on the way to Mosaico. I took an UBER to VM, as soon as we made the right off the highway to enter VM, a police car with 2 officers were partially blocking the road. They stopped my uber, walked up and started shining lights into the car. One officer them motioned for me to get out of the car. (I had on a mask, so he couldn't see my entire face) . I guess he could read from my forehead wrinkle and eye brow raise that I was confused as to why he anted me to step out of the car. I hesitated about 3 seconds as I looked at him, his partnet and then my uber driver before I reached for the handle and stepped out.

An uneventful ride leaves me deposited outside a shabby club, door cracked open and dimly lit red stairs. I decide to skip the club and drift across the street to the infamous are. Sotero dos Reis. I am drawn forth by some kind of magnetic pull, my mouth dry and pulse raised.
