Well that depends on the chemistry and skill. Panda Motel seems like a decent spot in Botafogo if stuck and can't bring a 'guest' into the Airbnb. Probably won't be an issue if give the security guy some money.

I use Airbnb also but I always send a message to the agent asking if I can bring friends into the apartment.
