Been 15 years since I last visited Rio. I am thinking about a few days in Ipanema / Copa Cabana and a few days in Barra de Tijuana. Does this make sense?

Are there any places that have picked up the vibe of the old Help in Copa? Or are we now have to be satisfied with the thermas?

Thinking about staying at airbnbs instead of hotels. Is it hard to bring guests? In others parts of Latin America getting guests into an airbnb can be an impossible mission.

Also no idea what the going rate is. We want to keep it affordable. What should I expect to pay in reals per hour?

To be honest it's been long enough that I don't recall. But I do remember that it was very reasonable (no gringo gouging). If you're really interested you can touch bases with her to see what she's asking now. I recall that she was intelligent, considerate, and thoughtful. Even brought me a little gift! What girl does that in this business? The session was good, and overall I give her a 7 on my optics scale. And she's a natural redhead if you like that sort of thing (I like).

Sorry to post a question on this forum which should have been in Argentina forum. But unfortunately that forum is dead and I don't see any activity. This forum is always live so may be anyone who might have visited Buenos Aries recently can help me answer my question. Can someone suggest me a good reasonably prices guest friendly hotel in Recoleta or any other good area of Buenos Aries? I have a trip coming up at the end of January and I need to book my hotel. I used to stay in hotel Etoile in Recoleta many years back but it seems to be not in business anymore. Any feed back shall be highly appreciated.

Non-answer answer: I went to Buenos Aires once in July 2019. With the site Baires Girls. Verdict, at least for me: All of the girls are casas / depas. You go to them. No need to bring room service. Unless it's a good Tinder / Seeking pro-am doing LT / TLN, if that's an option sorry I didn't venture as the casas / depas were plenty (for me at least).

Yeah I don't do any of that wingman stuff either. It is a waste of time. Unless it's a close friend or family, I would do it but if it's some stranger its not worth it.

I have always pretty much been a lone wolf in this thing. I'm not quick to trust other people. They can go out and do stupid things and drag you right down with them, and I cannot afford to let that happen. As I wrote somewhere else a few days ago, I did try having a wingman one time a long time ago, and the guy was just a disaster! Got stumbling drunk and digging in his nose and shit and scaring the tutes away (among other annoying things)! So, I said never again, and that's the way its been.

That said, I have thought about what would make for a good wingman or "partner in crime". I agree that it would help if neither monger liked the same type of girls. That way you're not seeing and having lust in your dark hearts for the same ones. But, another critical thing is that I think it would be crucial that you both like going to the same kinds of places too. Whether that be termas, prives, trash puteiros, Vila Mimosa, Scandallo or wherever. You like to visit the same establishments, but you're interested in banging different kinds of chicks. That would be perfect!

Other things that would be helpful would be if both are at the same experience level in terms of traveling abroad in general and in terms of mongering in particular (neither is needy of the other in these two areas). Language skills, or having a comfort level with operating in environments where you don't speak the language, are extremely useful too. One reason why my one-time wingman was so damn annoying is that he didn't speak the language (Spanish) and kept leaning on me like I was his damn (unpaid) interpreter / spokesperson or something! I mean, he was being so demanding that he was interfering with my own rap with the girls! Then he wanted to treat me like I was supposed to be his damn currency exchange office. Not! I was surprised he was so damn helpless because I knew he had mongered abroad before, and I thought he had more skiils. I was wrong. Never again!

My experience in Rio was most hotels are not girl friendly and have a posting at the entrance with the regulation in regards to prostitution. Doesn't matter what status you have with the hotel change you can get thrown out. The girls know this and some will use it ti their advantage.

The flight between Brazil and Colombia is usually thru Sao Paolo and Bogota. You need Yellow Fever vaccine certificate to travel in the direction of Brazil to Colombia. You can get the certificate or waver in Medellin, or at the Bogota airport for free. You should purchase Brazil domestic flights early to get the best and much lower price.

You probably can do it this way, US - Colombia - Brazil - US.

Will I be allowed to board the flight from Brazil to Colombia if I don't have the waiver or vaccine?

Also what are the requirements of the Waiver?

Planning to take one once reach Brazil but the 10 day rule might not kick in before I fly out.
