I'm planning on visiting RJ for a few days after landing in SP. Do you think your strategy still applies? You preface your post with a minimum week long trip to Rio. So if I'm only visiting for 4 days, should I just go to the boates / termas and session there?

From reading a bunch of posts, it seems that Brazil for the most part is full of pros. I guess a big reason for this is that most don't speak English in the country and the language barrier, so you can't meet non-pros easily.

I am just wondering why do you think he is proud of it? The way I read it, he is just satisfied. Can you point out where he is overpaying? Maybe I miss something. I read that he is just paying the list price which everyone will pay to session at 4 x4. Maybe he overspent, but I don't understand why that is overpaying.

The way I look at it is this, without people who session in termas, there won't be a 4 x4 for me to go get numbers from.

Last week my girlfriend had some nuts at her house besides mine. I told her that in the States we call these Brazil nuts. What are they called here (since the box only said Castanha)? If you're there for a short visit and you don't speak Portugués, it's pretty difficult to get it on with a non-pro. If would help immensely if you were in town for say a month or more. And if you're young and very handsome too.

This is what I have so far.

(1) Going to Brazil.

*Need to take COVID-19 test beforehand (Walgreens offers a free 24 HR one, the Rapid test).

*Fill out info sheet from Brazil travel authority.

(2) Leaving Brazil to the US -.

*Take COVID-19 test 3 days before flight.

So my biggest question is. How / where do I schedule a COVID-19 test in Rio? I have no idea as to how that works and have very limited Portuguese skills.

I will be arriving in Rio this Friday.

In the context of the discussion's evolution, one could easily surmise that was your point.

Your comment aside, I think members can make their point about less expensive options and then move on. It's kind of like the periodic Sao Paulo board ritual of dropping a proverbial match into gasoline with the Scandallo / SP boates versus the Sao Paulo clinicas debate. It can be and will be debated endlessly.

I've been very persistent here in advocating getting numbers wherever and whenever. If a girl declines, then that's it. You have your answer. If she gives you her number and responds to your initial phone contact, you are halfway there.

Having said that, strike while the iron is hot certainly applies in a termas. Especially, if you are on a short trip. I think many of us also know the girls we contact aren't always available when we want them. Some of them will flake.
