Return flights back to the U.S.

Travelers originating in the U.S. and taking an international roundtrip flight can order an at-home, virtually guided COVID-19 antigen test to take with them for their return flight back to the U.S. This option is specifically for your return flight to the U.S.
These kits must be ordered and delivered to a U.S. residence
Before leaving the U.S., please be sure you have the test kits and download the Abbott NAVICA app
Visit the eMed website to order and for additional information or technology requirements for your virtually guided test

As with anything don't follow information on the Forum. You need to personally verify information, so check State Department, CDC, destination country, US Embassy and your Airline for specific up to date information regarding your travel, things change almost daily regarding COVID.
True, didn't see that. Thanks for pointing it out. I wouldn't want to rely on the airport testing, and I don't want to waste my vacation time if my hotel doesn't offer the testing. This seems like a winner. Even if I have to buy 5, I believe I could get rid of the other 4 easily.

At the airport on your departure date, I would suggest that you dont volunteer any information about it being a home test kit, nor should one ask any airline attendant if a home test is valid. If asked, the name of the lab is NAVICA and the test was performed by a healthcare professional.

Don't give the airline employees too much credit for having intimate knowledge of regulations or documentation. I've dealt with them with respect to documentation of Covid test results when flying to Panama, Colombia, and returning to the US, and they don't scrutinize the paperwork very closely.
Thanks for the info and all the details!

This test is an antigen test and only helpful for returning to the US. The USCDC allows results from either test: PCR or antigen.

I'd give Sao Paulo a night or two or three, if you don't know the ropes you'll just be spinning your wheels for a week, you'll be bored AF. SP's not worth your time unless you really do your research, you got to really look for your proverbial diamonds in the rough.

Plus, all the super hot working girls in Sao Paulo can be found partying' in Rio on the weekends!

Rio on the other hand is totally different animal, I'd take a fucked up day in Rio over a halfway decent day in Sao Paulo anytime!

    Pernoite Rihanna Noir

    I had Rihanna noir over.

One pop last night, smoked, etc.

One pop this morning, sent her back in an uber to zona norte / zona oeste.

    400.

Not too different from before, but life is good.

Transamerica, Perola Negra, Ave de Pepe 400, Barra Posto 6 - 1

    Alright team, huddle up.

    Lots of questions about TA.

Here's maps and pictures because I know you are visual learners.

There's the two go to places for food.

Castle is the restaurant in TA.

Borda e lenha is the best pizza. Bacon and gorgonzola.

    Here are maps.

    Transamerica on the Northern end.

Metro Jardin Oceanico is on the Southern end, as is Perola Negra at Av de Pepe 400.

You can see the important things in between.

Best place to go shopping for beach gear and cloths is decathlon. That is where you can do your laundry for the best price too at the lavandaria next to the posto gasolina.

Olegario Maciel 135 is the best bar, has hookah, best girls, mostly white, and best place to bring your girl.

Posto 6 beach is the best beach because it is clean water. Arpoador where I went with fukamefdig is still like swimming in the overflow water from a fucking toilet. There are plenty of cops on the beach, your stuff is safe, unlike zona sul, which is full of criminals who will steal your shit, which is not fun, your best defense of which is to wear a red nylon tank top and or a red rashguard nylon swim shirt, which is the gear for a bombeiro guarda de piscina local. Wear a red boonie hat.

Best place to sit and have a lemonade / limonada suisse is the na brasa columbia on olegario maciel and av de pepe.

Praia do amadores is at posto 1, you can find plenty of jetski places there to put your best bunda on display for that optimal picture.

Barra is best barrio in Rio. I know you city types love you some zona sul, but now the metro jardim oceanico is where to train your girls to come to.

You did not read everything and click on the links to ascertain all the information necessary for safe and drama free travel (unless you test positive, then you will have lots of drama).

    https://br.usembassy.gov/covid-19-information/

    Primary information:

    COVID-19 Testing:

Brazil is a very large country with varying medical resources, both private and public, throughout the country. In the private healthcare system, there are many private labs that perform COVID-19 testing. Prices vary but COVID-19 tests typically run between $60 and $100. PCR, serology-based antibody tests, and antigen tests are available. Turn-around time varies with demand, but usually is around one to three days and is accessible electronically. Express results within 2 hours are available in many locations at an increased fee, including in the Guarulhos International Airport in Sao Paulo..

The testing must be performed in a laboratory just like you do in the US. You go to your doctor or testing facility they take sample sent to lab and lab tests-processes sample and returns to your doctor or you a document with your test results. That is what is meant by "tested in a laboratory".

However as KConstant mentioned IFF your flying United Airlines read about the eMed test. Ultimately its United who is going to determine if you board the plane or not.

United Airlines is endorsing the solution found below. The clever idea is to order a test kit while in the US and travel with it to the foreign country. The user preforms the test procedure while being observed remotely via video. In about 20 minutes, the test kit returns the results which are displayed to the remote observer. The observer certifies the result and sends an official document to the user electronically. The user can then use the result document to leave the country.

The kits cost $25/kit. However, the minimum order is 6 kits.

    This CDC section says:

Does an at home test qualify?
The Order requires a lab report to be presented to the airline or to public health officials upon request. A home specimen collection kit that is tested in a laboratory should meet the requirements, if such methods have been authorized by the countrys national health authorities. A viral test conducted for U.S. Department of Defense (DOD) personnel, including DOD contractors, dependents, and other U.S. government employees, and tested by a DOD laboratory located in a foreign country also meets the requirements of the Order.

As a man going to Rio for the first time in March, this made me soooo happy. I can't wait!

So far my plan is Termas, Boates, and maybe a weekend trip to Sao Paulo to hit up those amazing clubs everyone's been talking about. Is hotel Transamerica worth it and what the hell is that place? Can anyone recommend a good online escort site while in Rio.

    Hey man,

    Thanks for the reply.

Do you drive to Rio every weekend? It's like a 10 hour drive round trip, why do you not just stay in Rio then hahaha.

Also, is there truly nothing to do in SP unless you have been here for a long time? I read in the forums that you can visit clinicas and also go to Scandallo. Do you not consider these places fun or worthwhile to do?

Once again, thanks for your input.

    Helloim.

First time in Rio staying in Copa / Ipanema. Where is the best place to find girls?

Sao Paulo is a very big metropolis so alot of places are scattered around the city.

Do the clinicas during the day 1-4 pm (they open earlier but there will be few girls in the morning as some work the boates and come home late and wake up later) most of the clinicas are located in moema / indianapolis. Abbobora, miruna, Carina's etc and all within walking distance. Very cheap and good amount of girls. Be sure to get a girls number on WhatsApp if you like them as they usually are more likely to meet up for fun or longer time for a good rate than girls from boated.

Check out the boates (scandallo, lotus club, cafe photo, bomboa 40) really relaxed environment with great diversity in girls but much more expensive than clinicas. The best time to go is around 9-10 pm so I heard.

If you want some online girls you're best bet is to contact them maybe a few days or the day you land in whatever city you go to as they travel and take down their page when they get too busy so best to get your foot in the door to see if she's even available. Always best to set something up in advance usually because these girls are always getting requests.

SP IMO isn't very much fun compared to Ro but if you can find a girl to show you the city that would be the best route as it seems SP is one of those cities that can be fun if you know someone who knows where the cool places are..
Thanks for this man. I'll be in Rio for a month in March for the first time ever in Brazil. What are clinicas, boates, prives, and Termas? Where is the hottest spot to meet girls there and what price ranges should I expect?

    Thanks in advance brother.
