A few years back I took my Capital One 360 debit card with me to Thailand. You better believe there was a hefty surcharge on my ATM withdrawal. That is why I use the Schwab debit card. It is the only debit card available to American citizens that will reimburse the user for any and all ATM withdrawal transaction fees anywhere in the world. I believe there is or was a similar debit card available for Europeans.

So I have decided to return for Rio for new years since I had so much fun at Halloween. My game plan is 3 to 4 a day. I will stick to it this time. I have been searching the Brazil forums hard and escort sites. I have had friends pick 8 ladies off Barravips. That is a done deal as long as they are available. I also plan on hitting a prive each day early. I will also contact two of my favorites from last trip. I will hit termas in the evening and clubs each night. Has anyone made a reservation at Pestana bm skybar, how difficult is it with limited Portuguese? I plan on going to Casablanca for new years eve if anyone is interested. Although I will not be buying more than 4 bottles this time. Thanks party on.

So since no one would mistake my whitey-white untanned mug for a face of a local, I don't bother with soccer or fireman memorabilia.
Instead, I just dress like a bum. Simple shorts, which never met an iron, a t-shirt and cheap but comfortable sandals. I try not to walk into deserted side streets in Copa after dark, although I've broken this rule on multiple occasions.
I don't walk anywhere in Rio visibly drunk (again, that rule has been broken too).
I also avoid NS Copacabana after dark because despite being a major thoroughfare, it's not safe. Av. Atlantica is safer and more interesting anyway, if you must be outside.
Of course, all the above might not work. People do get mugged on Av. Atlantica even in broad daylight, so shit happens.
However, should I get mugged in the future, I carry a cheap phone and no more than $30-50 in local currency, and I'm willing to cheerfully part with these possessions.
These are simple and, more importantly, easy precautions for a regular tourist that, I believe, will dramatically reduce the risks of bodily harm. Of course, when you stay in Rio for months at a time, you must strategize your defense more vigorously. But that's not me.

Hi guys,
I've been reading this forum for over 10 years, and I gathered so much information, but unfortunately never went around to contribute until now.
I am in my late 20's, but have over the last 4 years done over a dozen trips to SE Asia, pretty much everywhere but my main go to place is of course Thailand followed by the Philippines. So yes, I am probably part of a vague of hobbyist used to Asia turning to see what Brazil has to offer (so my reviews will be a little bit comparing Asia to Brazil). With the lockdown in Europe, Asia closed, Brazil fully open, and incredible EUR-BRL exchange rate it seems to be a perfect opportunity to explore Brazil. I RTFF the forum as well as a couple of Brazilian forums to gather a lot of information and made my own list of interest points.
I am going to spend 3 weeks in RJ followed by a couple of weeks in SP, for a mix of mongering / tourism / chill.
Hotel:
I normally stay in 5 stars hotels, for those familiar with Asia my go to place are The Landmark / Sofitel in BKK, Hilton in Pattaya and ABC in AC. However it seems there is lack of 5 star girl friendly hotels at good price in RJ and SP. Even the likes of JW Marriott Copa seems a bit dated, fairly expensive for long stays and not guaranteed GF. So I decided to start with a couple of weeks hotel in Copa followed by Airbnb's in Ipanema, Barra the Tijuca and SP.
I choose Pestana hotel in Copa as it seems the best when it comes to being girl friendly and good value for money, despite the negative reviews on Tripadvisor, I find it not too bad, it does the job quite nicely. I recommend it, I choose the junior suite with a jet bathtub. First time I called a girl to my room I had to go down sign a form, the next time the girl was allowed to go up directly. Unlike Asia, they don't seem to keep their ID or call you when she enter / leaves.
ATM:
Bradesco ATM's near Pestana, 2500 real withdrawal limit. I recommend N26 Mastercard debit if you can get it, free card, official exchange rate, and just 1. 7 % withdrawal fee.
Sim card:
That's one of first thing I normally do, get a sim. I read this forum and other websites about getting a SIM card in Brazil, so I thought it would be easy, but it was not! I had read that foreigner can get and activate sim at Shopping Leblon for Claro and Vivo, and Rio Sul mall at Claro floor 3 and Vivo floor 3. And not a single of them was able to give me sim unless Brazil ID, expect Vivo floor 3 at Rio Sul, who told me first to come back in 1 hour because they have a problem with their prepaid machine, and then told to come back next day because it still doesn't work. So as I was giving up, I tried my last luck at Tim Floor 3 Rio Sul, and it worked. I took me over 5 hours made of ubers, 2 shopping malls, 8 different stores, waiting lines to get a sim. While I don't really minded it, as I have time and was able to just stroll the malls and see some Rio scenery, for those of you on tighter schedule, just go to Vivo floor 3 Rio Sul or Tim floor 3 Rio Sul with your passport. Alternatively if you speak Portuguese, you can just get a prepaid sim from any newsstand near you and then activate it by calling them. But I don't speak the language.
Girls:
Day 1.
First night, tired of my flight, I still wanted to enjoy some bunda as I have been kept frustrated by the never ending lockdowns back home. Since it's late night and didn't have a sim yet, I decided to get a girl from photoacompanhantes to my room, texted a few of them on whatsapp and finally got a girl called Agata. Quoted 150 real + 20 real for uber for 1 hour. I know that photoacompanhantes is risky business and high prob of bait and switches, but for that low price point it's not really a big deal, so I didn't have too high expectation anyway. The girl showed up in 25 min (at 2.30 AM), ofcourse not the girl on the picture but very similar, a nice looking dark blond hair, light brown skin morena with a delicious body, about 25 years old. Doesn't speak English, she started with a nice BBBJ, deepthroat, LFK, rimming, blowjob / facefuck on the small balcony, followed by oral on her, various position sex, and finished with a CIM, she swallowed and smiled! All of that to my room for 27 for PSE! That's insane, when I think of the mediocre performing Romanians asking 4 x that back home. Equivalent to about 1000 THB, that could be possible in TH, but I am seeing more girl asking min 1500 THB the last couple of years, and it's cheaper than Phil based on my encounters. Slept well that night thinking of the incredible value for money (I dare to say best VFM in the world? Good start to the trip.
Day 2.
Spend most of day strolling through shopping malls, decided to check out Copa 583 before going back to hotel. The address is written as 583 SL, I thought SL would mean ground floor. Once I got there, I didn't find it on ground floor, no sign either on the wall. Whatsapped them, but they didn't respond. Eden spa in same building was already closed (Saturday). Since I didn't want to go empty (or full), I decided to check out Copaterapias in same building sala 505. I had read good review on them. Told 170 real for "Relax Massage", presented girls on the computer, choose Emili. Was then told better to take the mix massage (relax, tantric) for 250 reals. I thought it would a hint that this one is full service. So I took it. Good facilities, good looking girl, smaller body, kept her face mask through the session, removed her bra but kept pants on. Light back massage, followed by B2 be with her boobs, turned, same sequence, then she started HJ, asked "sex? She answered no, so she finished with a standard he. While the massage was somewhat erotic, it wasn't really a good massage if you are used to the Asian places, so 250 reals for just he is too much. I don't recommend and will not repeat. On the way down, I saw SL written in the elevator! So now I know how to go to Copa 583 next time.
Past midnight, on the basis of my previous night success, decided to again try my luck on photoacompanhantes. Hooked up with Sabrina, same price 150 reals + 20 reals for uber for 1 hour. She showed up within 30 min, nice looking white brunette girl with nice bunda, and big fake tits recently made. About 28 years old. No speak English, she started with body kiss and enthusiastic wet BBBJ with PSE feel. Asked her for rimming, she said that's extra, I told her we agreed to that on whatsapp, she said no that's extra. Anyway proceeded to the balcony blowjob, some light deepthroating, then fucked, she didn't want to do doggystyle, DFK, she cummed twice and seemed to enjoy it, finished by cumming on her sealed lips. We had agreed to rimming and CIM, that was not delivered, although she did provide a good enthusiastic fuck overall, but somewhat felt a little bit rushed. Good vfm again but will not repeat her.
That's it for now, will see how the rest goes. First impressions are really good, Rio seems a nice city, nice people, the girls are hot, the weather is good, good vfm. Downside would be a lack of basic English for many people, whereas in Asia most people seems to have the basics. It's refreshing to walk by Copacabana beach and see people dancing on music and enjoying life, restaurants open, life going on. (I am not saying whether it's right or wrong in the middle of a pandemic, I am not judging just observing) in contrast to the cold dark sad winter lockdown at home.
I do miss one thing though, what I mostly do in Asia at night is to go to gogo bar / bikini bar, barfine 1 or 2 girls, then party at nightclubs at VIP quarters with them (and maybe their friends too), before going back to the hotel for long time overnight stay (or sometime days if good GFE and chemistry). I do enjoy more than just sex, I like to take the girl to eat, stroll around, go to beach, visit touristy spots, even have traveled to other city / country (in which case, she becomes a GF), since I don't personally feel I need to fuck many girls or many times to be satisfied. While I have read people doing that in Brazil, I need to figure out how to find these girls who are up for it, tinder doesn't real work for me, badoo is full of uglys, no gogo here. Perhaps I will try boates places like Kalabria, Dolce Vita, Mabs but not sure about the vfm there and lack of English (and covid risk in nightclubs?) If someone can point me where to look, I would appreciate.

Hey Group,
This has been my first trip to Brazil and I want to thank the group for the wealth of knowledge that has been shared on this forum. My home base is Rio, but I'll be traveling other cities while I'm down here. Got out of the USA before the covid lockdowns and curfews began.
My experience so far have been great. I used barrasVIPS for the P4P. A majority of the girls told me they were staying at Transamerica. All experiences were great. Photoshop was used for one girl to cover up her breast lift scar. It was bad and would not have reached out if I saw the scar on the listing, but she turned out to perform really well. Most were visiting from Sao Paulo. One had a sister with her that was listed on the site as well. All P4 P were at my hotel. I'll be going to their place next time to see Transamerica.
The ability to speak the language is key here and will help your chances with the semi pros and non pros. Can't stress that enough.
One side note I wanted to ask. While down in Floripa a few of the girls that I've been with that spoke English said they learned from tourist from Australia that they stayed with for 6 months. Is this common for Aussies to rent Brazilians for that amount of time? If anyone has any info on this and how they arranged this it would be much appreciated.
Keep the change.

10. Wear a gopro on a neck lanyard (downside of the neck lanyard is it can be used as a weapon against you). If it looks like a fight coming, turn on the go pro, and record the incident. If there is some assault, make sure you are the victim -- she bit me, here is the blood, etc. Become an actor, watch porta dos fundos. My favorite response to crying working girl is something like "meu esposa e putaria," while feigning mock tears, tossing up water out of water bottle, onto her hair, another sure way to make a hooker run. Or the always funny, "melancia" as we recite the sobre mesa porta dos fundos.
