This is all accurate about why I have chosen Transamerica.

The girls prefer it.

Local Hi test Negra's give me best long term performance here is they stay because they like being here like getting their pics taken here (this hotel, this pool, this beach). And they charge me less for 3 day / 66 hour all I can fuck sessions.

Look if you want to come to Rio and live in a favela and never meet your fellow mongers and take pride in the number of posts go ahead.

I have to say that out of the 50 previous pages of this thread, your posts have been the most informative and helpful. Few, if any at all, have detailed VM as well as your VM trip reports, and you've shared good intel on many other aspects of mongering in Rio. I appreciate the contributions and look forward to learning from your future trip reports.

I never met Bubba Boy, but from another ISG member who has gone silent and who did know him, I understand he was an Aussie. I understand he went back to Oz. My suggestion is that the most authoritative writer on Brazil, more widely published than anyone on this list, is the guy who wrote "The subtle art of not giving a fuck" which I now see the guests at the pool at this hotel-apt reading.

Could be, as I have seen a handful of posts from him (Bubba Boy) pop up in the Bangkok threads, some leading me to believe he was there. Would make sense for an Aussie monger. As far as who has written with authority, when it comes to mongering in Brazil, I tip my hat to Bwana Dik whose writings were the actual foundation for Bubba Boy's guides (now badly outdated). Bwana Dik (out of San Francisco I think) did it first, and he did it well!

Transamerica sounds amazing. Definitely have to give it a try on my next visit. The girls are really girls, right? Curious, is it like one of those places in Germany, called Stasi, I believe, where the girls run around naked and they serve food? There used to be a guy named Bubba here. He seemed to know a lot about the nightlife in Rio. Bet he knows all about that Trans-Atlantic place. Anyone seen him around? He would make a great wingman to accompany you to Help and maybe the Balcony Bar. Think he even knew a little Spanish.

1 week in and if I can chime in on Transamerica a bit for us newbie's as this additional info probably would have helped me a out of the gate. Have made the trip to TA a couple times from Copacabana and have arranged transportation to and from each time just for peace of mind and also because I have yet to get a SIM card cause I've been too busy fuking to make the mall trip. If the Bunda doesn't meet you in lobby to escort you up you will have to show ID to head up to room (I did not bring ID the one occasion). Here is my biggest takeaway from TA. If your Hoe isn't punctual or decides to attend another sausage and blows off your scheduled time, you are scrambling to arrange another on lobby Wi-Fi but be aware, alot of bait and switch there from what I've experienced. I do think there would be an advantage to staying there to avoid a lot of wasted time as I agree with King V that there are nicer amenities and overall safety and cleanliness in the area. I have not seen ladybugs and the quality runs the gamut as does the prices. I do like the views while the How is attending to the sausage on the balcony. R1200 versus my R3300 weekly Copacabana. I'm still up in there air on making the move as I like my current hotel and have had zero issue bringing a boatload of different quality up to room.

Tidbits.

In need of perfect English speaking masseuse. Try Ju at Eden (nice big naturals).

Walk in and get a number on your wrist.

Locker for things just inside from reception.

Shower on second floor and depart in robe to next level which has a small smoking room and then a small bar area. Where the ladies either dance or sit and try to entice for either a 40 minute or 1 hour session next level up.

Prices are approximate here. R120 minimum and if you session, I believe the standard cabin was around R480 and 1 hour is R590 (I have a picture but these are approximate) I bought some lady drinks and sessioned and my tab came to R775. This lady lets you review the receipt and I did not see any extra Gringo taxes or whatever. Lady quality is average up in there but only sessioned to experience the entire process.

Photoacompantes. I think some are independent and some have handlers and it's been 50/50 what presents and after a year in the Western world, didn't care. But. Now I'm seriously on the hunt for DSD (younger) top tier Hoes. I am not here for continued average poonannie and will now light up BarraVIP and begin the search your younger chocolate.

Have some established contacts now for my Dark Skin Doubles and these ladies readily give out their WhatsApp and have friends.

P.S.- Tried that Paris Cafe after a Transamerica session. Way the Fuk out their toward Argentina and not worth the drive as the ladies were nothing to write home about.

You should read all of vagabundos posts to understand his situation and reasoning behind living in Transamerica but importing from elsewhere. First of all I want to thank vagabundo for the wealth of information shared, it has been extremely helpful.

I am not disagreeing with him but want to provide a contrast to his approach, as it is not for everyone and for example wouldn't be 100% my cup of tea.

The reason Transamerica is good is you have zero issue taking girls to your room. Reason number two is that there is an insane amount of working girls living in that building. So you can just run into them and ask for numbers. The reason Vagabundo decides to bus in girls from other locations I believe is because he is staying in Brazil for months and is able to agree super cheap rates for 2-3 days at a time with a girl. Don't want to put words in his mouth but I am doubtful some of the more high end girls that charge 400-500 per hour and post on barravips would be open to such an agreement. Still the option is there.

Now for the reason to actually stay at barra de Tijuca vs Rio / Copa. From my experience being here for a week and having been here once before in the last 12 months is that all the hottest girls live in barra so you are actually closer to them (either for them coming to you or you coming to them).

I was not the first to recommend Transamerica, rather I was just following the suggestion from this earlier thread.

I don't see posting here as some kind of competition. There are no right answers, and I suggest a positive tone. I indeed changed my nickname, as suggested by some ISG friends and clients one night 5 years ago in 2015 in the smoking lounge at 502 because the name, from a felipe ret song, or from a common carioca term seemed more appropriate to my mongering nature. Ironically, it appears that some readers have been following my posts despite their saying that they ignore my posts. It reminds me of Hemingway and F. Scott Fitzgerald in A Moveable Feast -- one writer so insanely jealous of his imagined fame takes to attacking his peer, who hardly notices. Take Rio for what it is, a Moveable Feast -- for if you've been lucky enough to live in Rio as a man, then it stays with you, for Rio is a moveable feast, better than the original Paris.

Regarding Porta dos Fundos, yeah, sobre mesa is a great episode too, one I have joked about.

Last month I had a 3-day weekend in Rio. Decided to get an Airbnb in Barra and unlike most times I rented something that wasn't in front of the beach. The exact address was Avenida Gasto Sengs 395 apartment 1507-1, Barra the Tijuca, RJ 22631-280, Brasil AKA Transamerica.

Without even trying I unsuspectedly booked an apartment in a highrise building (part hotel and part apartment residence) that is ground zero to a bunch of independent working girls. All three of my "GDP" acquaintances that came through during the weekend confirmed it and were wondering how I knew about it. Apparently, the rent is quite cheap and many of the girls share apartments. The setup is either you're a guest of the hotel, or a client that they see in their building. The pool is where the magic happens to check out the scene. I was impressed, went downstairs with a "girlfriend" and saw a lot of bunda by the pool which is where they advertise. It was a sight to see considering this place is also a residential building with kids and families. In order to get to the pool though you have to check-in at reception and get a wristband so that you can use the facilities. The security guards and some taxi drivers also confirmed that it was known as "Transamerica" and a spot for the hobby. I didn't ask any girls the price but my friends told me 200-300 is normal there. Of course the place is also girl-friendly;0.

I don't recall any mention of this place in the Rio thread. May be it is a hidden gem. Proof that Rio keeps on giving.

Yes, I find it strange that many newbies want to stay in Barra. That's my opinion. If you like to stay in Barra, that's fine. I remember that Motel Málaga was another one of your favourite spots when you used one of your other forum names.
