This. OMFG why? They either call or text repeatedly. And once I get in they ask a few times if I am indeed going to the address I entered into uber.

I understand if a confusing address but this is usually not the case. Its almost like they are not comfortable with or don't entirely trust the tech.

As Mr Ent stated I basically chalk it up to being something that happens outside of the western world.

What happened was the airline employees led those customers that were late to skip the lines. The closer it was to my flight time, the worst it got. When I was second or 3rd in line. The group that skipped the line got bigger. This was about two and a half hour waiting in line. The lady with her kids that was in front of me could not take it anymore because the line had not moved for more than half an hour. She exploded, started screaming at the airline employee. By the time I reached the gate, the flight was delayed. LOL I was not surprised.
I had a similar delay once for less an hour or so. I thought what is the point of coming early to the airport when you could come at the last minute and go before everyone else. Encouraging late arrivals is very very stupid.

During my recent trip, I had only a backpack and was the 2nd person in the line to board LATAM flight from CGH to SDU, the employee at the gate asked all the folks with small / personal item to form a separate line and let everyone with carry-ONS get on board. We were the last one to board which was stupid. I understand they want to have people with carry-ONS to use the overhead luggage storage but forcing those with personal item to board last is not a best way to handle it. Even in this case there is no incentive for arriving early and being in the line first. Chalk them as only in Brazil!

In some ways it's getting worse as many people pay with cards or PIX. The only easy solution is that I have enough small change. So how do you stack up on small change? One way is to enter a bank and kindly ask for changing large bills to small change. Another way is to pay smaller amounts with large bills in places that receives a lot of customers, like kilo restaurants or Lojas Americanas. When I travel I always have about 1500 reais in banknotes with value 2, 5, 10 and 20.
One of the food court places in Ibirapuera mall in SP charged my card 400 reals for a 25 real purchase. I have disputed the change with the Bank and got the money back but I had to wait for few months as I didn't provide a bill. Since then I mostly use cash and use card very sparingly. For the most part Brazilian businesses have not problem accepting cash and return exact change, having smaller denominations like 10's, 20's etc. Definitely helps. I don't think a small business would be happy to give change for 100/200 real bill for a very small purchase. I have occasionally encountered businesses annoyed to deal with cash and return change back.

But perhaps wasted (methinks), on those who feel and think, the mountain should come to them.

The more you travel, the more you realize this is just how it is in third world countries. I have been traveling a long time and I still feel as frustrated as you do. But I understand it is going to happen. I am in Ecuador now and whether in a taxi or restaurant, nobody ever has change. It is like they opened the day up not expecting someone may want change when they come patron here. I am trying to give them a 20 but my girl says just give them the 5. Yeah but if I do that then the next person is going to say they do not have change for the 20 so I am trying to get change when I can. The other day we went into a major grocery store to buy a couple of items. When I got in the line I told my girl that I am going to scream if these mfs in this big ass store say they do not have change. You should see the shit she has to fill out before they run my credit card. It is like applying for a mortgage.

Yep. Right before the grocery store we were at a department store because I had forgotten to bring my face towel. I was number one in the line for about 10 minutes while 2 chicks each were checking out the 2 customers already at the counter. It took 2 of them to put something into 1 bag. Efficiency is not a thing in third world countries.

LOL. At least they send you messages. They always make an international call to me since I am Ubering under my T-mobile number. I definitely feel your pain on that one though. It is like ordering a pizza and they keep calling you back asking if you are sure you want a pizza or you are sure you want pepperoni on that. Chicks tell me they do it because many times the app is not accurate and sends them to the wrong place and they just want to make sure.

You start to realize these things are going to happen, but if you are impatient like me then you never get used to it. It is all part of the traveling experience. Guys say they want to learn about different cultures, well this is fucking it! Reminds me of a youtube video I saw a couple of weeks ago that talked about why when Black people from the USA move to Africa, they tend to quickly move right the fuck back. Yeah you might have the same skin color, but your culture (nor infrastructure) is nothing like theirs.

I understand your frustration here. I always say look at how much value a nation of people places on good customer service, and you'll be able to see why some nations are great why others will never be. When it was open, L'uomo used to be one of my favorite termas, but the place was tiny, including in the locker room where it could get tight. The woman at the front desk who assigned the lockers was nice enough, but she was also a moron. There would be hardly any customers in the place, and 4 guys would show up at about the same time, and she would give all 4 of them lockers in the same damn tiny little corner rather than spreading everybody out to allow for more room to change. She did that every single time and it was so fucking annoying, especially because there was always that one asshole who acts like he's got to hurry up and change before all the girls leave or something. Slow down dude! Them tutes ain't going nowhere! Damn!

Well, a regular is over at Vagabundo's new love pad at av malibu 1355, which is whites only rich patricio rio de janeiro, but I have a 21 year old black girl smoking weed on the bed.

What Vagabundo really wants to know is how is that property purchase going for you, senor biggus dickus? Any regrets or comments or advice from buying a house in Goa?

Look, I mean, buying a personal house is so infantile; real men start a company, buy a beach property and start Vagabundo's Americain Club in Recreio. I mean, that would be manly.

The DJ at Mosaico lives in Recreio.

    So, the week in baseball.

Nina Deponca comes over at 21 h last Friday, we fuck 3 times, 2 times in the morning, then Vagabundo slides his well used dick into a 18 year old at a prive, I shall call her Candie Evans, whom she resembles.

Oh, Monday, I go into centro, Midori is texting me, but now, she is making the leap from prive girl to freelancer, and every hour is booked. Hot negra nice ass. But I go to a hotel with Anne Amari, even though Midori is newer, hotter, and she has kids.

But, what the fuck. I mean, who really gives a shit. I need to go hit Manu Meier up her ass, but she is going to try to charge me for the consulta to a medico to take the buttplug out of her ass from our last fuck, a real grudge fuck, as I impaled her ass on a jeweled butt plug, sending her running out into the Carioca night, oh well. I am a count, not a saint.
