If you go to MPs in Bangkok that Asians or Japaneses frequent. You can tip but they don't expect it and it does not affect service. Yesterday I went to a MP I never visited before. The lady assigned to me gave me an unexpected hand job at the end without asking me. There was a sign in the room says "no tipping" so I did not tip and the lady did not seem to expect it either. If you stay at the Pestana, make sure you get one of their top tier rooms. Although the room I had "passed", I was a bit disappointed with the upkeep. The common areas were decent, and as Rio Bob says, the place is girl friendly. It's in a decent Copa location too.

That's correct you need to book the ocean front suite. Currently this suite is being offered at an incredible price due to low demand. Check out my 2018 trip video, it has numerous shots inside the room and on the balcony, I highly recommend it.
