I listened to half of the video. Besides mentioning a dozen privées in Centro and a few in Copacabana I didn't find the video useful. Many of the spots for streetworkers are not useful unless you have a car, and some streetwalker spots are in unsafe areas if you're on foot. There are propably at least 100 privées in Centro. A bunch of larger wellknown privées and lots of smaller privées, clinicas, casas de massagem and trash casas. Many of these privées change location constantly. They close down or move. The gems are often girls who just started working in smaller privées. To stay updated on the privê situation you have to study the local forums or explore by yourself.

There is a reason most privées are anonymous. They are often located in office buildings. Their customers are local officeworkers coming for a quickie. Everybody wants discretion. The last thing anybody wants is a group of loud gringos walking the corridors, knocking on doors asking for putas.

If you do plan on drinking, one good option is a termas. Suggest you designate one guy as a non or light drinker. Also, have your exit planned. Are you going to take a cab or Uber? One thing I have seen time and time again is guys walking the streets acting like they own the place. You are being told by people who really know what they are talking about to keep low key, especially when visiting the private apartments. As for non-pros and freebies with pros the guys whom I have seen achieve the greatest success either have drugs or are easy going. Birthdays are important to Brazilians and I have gotten invited to a lot of parties because I would not embarrass my host. This does not mean you are a wimp when you are alone with the girl, it just means not being a jerk, especially a drunken one.

Thanks for the replies. We obviously like to have a good time, but we stayed buzzed, and never get fucked up. We are also not the type to cause a scene. We are laid back group. We also know its our 1st time in Rio, and the reputation Rio has. So we will be alert.

We don't plant to walk much at night. We anticipate talking ubers to different termas at night. But during the day we plan to hit the beach, day drink and hit the tourist spots.

Our plan is termas for sure. But we've been checking out those escort sites, just don't know how real the photos are.

We are also considering canceling our hotel, since we found out they do charge a fee for guests. So we just might rent a 4 bedroom apt on coca Beach. With an ocean front and steps away from the beach.

We are still going in somewhat blind. Is there no action until termas get going at 5 pm? Sure we will flirt and try our game at the beach but no expectations.

So should it just be termas, and escort sites? Maybe some freelance bars like mabs and the one across from mabs that was mentioned a few posts.

I think your plan to hit termas is spot on. Spend time at beach in copa during day eat and drink well during day. Head to centro so your in the terma 65 by 5:30 pm, make luv to your women. Make your way back to copa for night festivities. Check out MaBs (I wasn't a fan of the talent) and bar hop in that area. Weekend, hang in Ipanema and hit up solarium during day, head to Lapa at night. Not sure if Lapa will be happening on a sat night these days because of covid, it's possible though so keep it in mind. Being drunk is for the young not for people over sixty. Being old and drunk is quite pathetic. However, having some alcohol in you is helpful especially when pursuing non-pros, it gives you greater confidence which all girls appreciate and lessens the negative impact of a refusal. So my Barra plan, after talking to a friend, is to check out Paris Cafe, which is a good call.
