I remember in the early 80's I would mostly get girls from the bars / cafes along Copacabana and in those days money was barely spoken about with these girls then when they were leaving a small present was always in order. These girls were all good looking, nice, young but not 10's for the most part. One day I was registering in one of the motels in the Lido area (Vanity?) and I was with one of these Copa girls and I noticed these guys had these tall slender Blondes, really hot girls and I asked them where did you get them? They told me Barbarellas. I went there a few times after that maybe not the same exact location it is today but close and the girls were outstanding but money was spoken about, no little presents on the backend, so my financial situation at the time lent itself to the Copa girls which were no problem. Then later years I have good memories when the dollar was strong early 2000's 4 to1 real to the dollar and pulling 2 gems out of there at a time and dancing on the stage with them.

True past few years Barbarellas was dead, I went in a few times and absolutely nothing was happening at all. Sad to see another major player in the Rio scene closing down. It probably won't have any impact at all on the monger scene because it was on life support anyway in the past years and girls will always be selling pussy in Rio as long as there is someone to buy it.

I'm just wondering a lot of guys like to go to Rio in the November to March timeframe including Carnaval, are you still making plans to go no matter what?

There were definitely some stunners who passed through their doors. It was never a place where I could truly relax. Always had to be on guard for some shenanigans by the wait staff.

I don't remember if I have the details exact, but I recall a waiter putting down a bottle of open whiskey on the table of some young American guys. The waiter told them he would only charge them for what they drank. Of course, they got hosed on the way out.

The last time I visited Barbarella, it was clearly in its last gasps. I used to pull some real hotties out of there. Used to be OK for me as long as I avoided the taxis out front charging triple the price! I remember one time I told a girl that if she wanted to use one of those taxis, then the difference between what I would paid for a regular taxi was coming out of her money. You should have seen that tute get to stepping down the street in the other direction LOL!

Now, if you fuck around and return to brasil, you may have legal trouble if a girl claims you got her pregnant and then didn't support the child.
Everything else notwithstanding, Brazil IS an OCSE country.

I access the net over a for browser and use private internet access VPN.

However, it was a little bit of a challenge to get the initial service at the apartment. I would hear a knock on the door, paper is then thrown under the door and rapid running down the stairs. The paper said that the service tech had tried for 30 minutes to contact the apartment owner. This happened twice. My guess is he was visiting his girlfriend and charging the company for his time. Happened to see the local cable supervisor on the street that week and told him the story. He gave me an appointment time and they arrived right on time and were very apologetic.

NET was the ISP. The internet was unlimited in terms of use. Like the US you pay more for higher speeds which I needed.

    https://www.net.com.br/

Current plan prices are listed and pretty obvious even if you do not speak Portuguese.

As a warning, I rented an apartment one time with internet access included. I was using it for VOIP as well. Right in the middle of an important call, the tenant next door did something to knock it out.

Sounds like you plan to get your own service which is recommended if your business depends on it.

You should also be aware that it is not unusual for Brazilians to try to piggyback on your connection (called gato).

If internet service is essential, you might want to consider a backup plan like a mobile hotspot or using your cell as a hotspot.

    Internet Access

Since this pandemic may be in effect until next year, I was thinking (For a friend of course). Why not take a laptop to Copa and take advantage of the 5/1 rate for the next 6 months?

That's why I like to mix it up and keep them tutes off balance and guessing! Most don't know when I'm arriving or where I'm staying, and I never ever stay in the same place over and over. Hell, they may not even know I'm in town hahaha! Got one I went bareback with in the Philippines calling me. I told her dumb ass to stop calling me at 2 and 3 in the morning my time! Kept doing it, so I blocked her ass. At least she never said, "I'm pregnant, and it's your baby". Damn straight it isn't mine! I pulled out, and I pulled out on time!

Had some experience with this matter.

FYI: Go to www.jusbrasil.com.br run a search on your name, it'll tell you if someone in Brasil is trying to sue you. Live & learn!

Side note: The girl has three kids from three different guys and none of them pay her squat!

    Rio is back open?

Tonight I saw on a girl's instagram where she showed a video of herself surprising her parents in caxias. So I wonder if the airports are back open for everyone or is it only for brasilians? She didn't mention anything about being quarintined, so maybe that 14 day quarantine rule no longer exists.

    Damn near impossible
