So, usual apartment date was had by Vagabundo today.

Apologies for the delay between day 3 and 4. Getting used to the new normal of life in London at the moment with Corona Virus etc. Transitioning a very old fashioned (and outdated technology) office to everyone working from home has been a struggle. So there were only 2 of us left in our apartment as the others had gone to SP but we had been left with a request to try and get tickets for Flamengo v Botofogo and had heard that the club shop at Av. Borges de Medeiros, 997 - Gvea, was the place to head to. On one side of the training center was hole in wall ticket offices and we got tickets there are $80 each, you needed I. As we were halfway there already after finishing at Flamengo we headed here. I have been to a few botanical gardens over the years but this was is massive. I enjoyed looking around and would recommend it.

Further to my atmospherics.

The exchange rate at the bank is 5.31 BRL USD, ie, I take out 1000 Brazilian reais, and I get charged 188.08 dollars.

I have to say, I really love Brazil and Rio without the crowds, and with very few people around. Generally, it is just much nicer not to have so many people.
