I'm visiting Brazil from the states for the second time. My wife is Brazilian and she keeps me on a pretty short leash. Her condo is located in Jardim Botanico. I was researching the Monte Carlo Termas and it sounds a lot like the FKKs I would frequent in Germany.

Unfortunately I couldn't find any located in the neighborhood. Are there any options in Jardim Botanico? I would gladly settle for a massage parlor in Jardim. Also, is BBBJ standard like in Germany?

Sorry, but I have never, never had an issue with hotels and bringing girls in! And I have stayed at many different ones, mainly in Copa. It's so, so easy as to be a non-issue, and anybody can do it! I was not overly harsh, and it's misinformation. You can easily find hotels all over Rio that will accommodate (read the reports). You don't need to be slick LOL! Just book for two. Yes, there are a few that are difficult, but the problem is so easily avoided. Nothing like say going to Dubai where there are constant discussions about which hotels are "green" and which are "red". I am a seasoned Rio and Brazil monger and know what I am talking about.

These pics are outstanding, thanks for sharing! Thanks for the intel on the Hilton that you can bring girls in with no problem. Yes I agree with you it's better to stay in a hotel you know is GDP friendly ahead of time to avoid any problems. I used to stay in apartments but lately been preferring a hotel, been staying in the Pestana which is also girl friendly and if you're lazy and lonely on the weekend just go up to the rooftop bar and chances are you can find a girl and bring her to your room, nice and easy.

A nice and lengthy first effort on this site, but your post is full of inaccuracies and rookie errors. I will point out just one. You wrote that pretty much all hotels don't allow mongers to bring in girls. That is so untrue! Whether in Rio, So Paulo, or Porto Alegre I have never had a problem ever bringing a tute to my hotel room. Not once, and I have been to Brazil many times. I just hate it when I see misleading information like this that gives guys who don't know the wrong impression. Just book your room for two people, and it will be very unlikely that you will have any problems.

It was a long report, maybe too long to get the point but I think he was just referring to Rio and not all of Brazil as he said so you had to get that. Now anybody who has stayed in various hotels in Rio through the years knows that many hotels have a policy of not allowing GDP's in the room at all. Now I understand it's just policy or a rule and some guys here are just slick enough to get around it but let's face it not everybody knows how to do it.

Man, you were harsh on the monger. I read his report, and he did say "Most hotels don't let you bring in a girl. ", which has been the case in Rio as long as I remember. He made an effort and we should first thank him for that, and then correct his inaccuracies in a nicer way.

Had walked by this place a couple of times on my Saturday night strolls through Lapa but had never gone in because of the caipivodka drink I always bought at my usual street stand on the way. Sign says free admission for men (for women 10 real), 25 girls stripping. Apparently a fairly new boate, and unusual to be in Lapa, per a post on gparena. Finally decided to check-it out last night, so postponed my caipivodka and entered about 11 PM. Room is fairly large, maybe 2/3 the size of the main room in 502. No stage for stripping, just a pole in the middle of the room for any stripping that is done. Place seemed kind of empty: maybe 10 girls and 10 guys. Drink prices for caipirinha and caipivodka seem to be about 5-10 real higher than similar boates, even higher than termas 65 and 502. Girls were the level you could get in daytime centro prives for 100 to 140 real an hour; however, due to the night time premium, rates are 170 real for 30 minutes, 200 for 40, and 220 for 60. Since no one attracted me, especially at those rates for that level of girl, I left after 3 minutes. No need to return anytime soon.
