This is why it would be nice if everyone stopped putting all the nonsense in the report threads. These buildings have been discussed, but the information is not easily found. For those who speak Portuguese, don't look like a perv and have winning personalities (encantador, charmoso) you could also enter a large office building on Rio Branco in Centro and ask the doormen. Good doormen can tell you what color a girl's underwear is on any given day. They definitely are up on where the latest privees are located. Whether they will tell you, is another story.

Well this is a continuation from my report when I was there last month. This is help fellow first timers who are curious and / or need some help.

We did have a girl that just went up to us after walking the beach by the palace. Something did seemed off that she walked up to 2 random guys in the open. She tried to get us to for a beer and get us to come up to the room. Any insight on this? My friend thought could been a set up or something?

This is why it is important for new guys or infrequent visitors to report. It is a matter of perspective, knowledge and experience.

The few people here who actually speak Portuguese and over the years have spent months in Rio see the city and its venues from a totally different perspective. For example, I have no idea what all this discussion is about girl-friendly hotels, because I have never had an issue with bringing in different girls at multiple hotels around Rio. Others, whom have had issues can better address it.

As for your girl on the beach, that is how it used to be done. Particularly when Help was still around. A girl might be from the North zone or even from somewhere else in Brazil. Well this is a continuation from my report when I was there last month. This is help fellow first timers who are curious and / or need some help. After RTTF I went to other termas. The main one I hit were close to Copacabana area. I went to 4 x 4 it was OK didn't have much of selection. They were aggressive but no where near like Monte Carlo. This may been due a lot more guys being there. The 4 x 4 is in the centro area and was comparable in lounge area to the Monte Carlo. The entrance fee was 60 R compared to 120 R for the Monte Carlo.

We left went back to Monte Carlo same girls from previous night with a few more. As soon as we got in and like before girls were aggressive. I ignored them but they are persistent to make that paper. I finally settled for one after 20 minutes. Same routine as before they lead you to their locker room to change before going to room. I can't remember her name but she was a little older but Had a bigger ass. The session was good more GFE like and stayed the entire time. Tried to get a second one out but couldn't.

Our last night there we tried centaurs yes it is expensive. We went because a friend of a friend who lives there recommended it saying it had the hottest girls. The trash places in both cities have treated me very well, and I have found the true diamonds there.

P.S If you have really large amounts of cash you should find a doleiro.

For large amounts I exchange far from Zona Sul.

Pretty much all tourists stay in Zona Sul so there is a large supply of dollars there. Go to non-tourist areas and the exchangers see hardly any dolar supply and need to get their dollars somewhere else.

When I exchange larger amounts outside main parts of the city I typically get 10-20 centavos more on the dollar over the best rates in Zona Sul.

I'm a little bit surprised about all the reports of Copacabana prives, like 583. Why not walk down one block to the metro, head to centro and have a much wider range of prives to choose from with better quality and lower prices?

This was my first time in Rio so I didn't want to push my luck. Also I had to do lot of sightseeing.

I will certainly try centro next time. Can you please suggest two or three places similar to copa583 that are close to metro stations and how much they charge?

If you have a larger amount of cash to change, my advice is to do like this:
1. First check the rate on PM Turismo website:

The rate on PM Turismo website is decent, but you can expect a clearly better rate if you negotiate well with the cambios mentioned below.
2. Then you'll get an idea what's the going rate in the casa de cambios.
3. Go to centro and check out Casa Behar and PMTurismo on Av Rio Branco. Check the rates.
4. Then you head to Rua Xavier da Silveira in Copa. On that street you have 3 cambios and around the corner on NS Cop you have 2 more. In five minutes you can check the rate at all the cambios. BlameitonRio-Bobby will give you a bad rate. If you go to Berthas make sure you speak with the obese guy (the owner).
P.S If you change Euros you get a extra good rate if you have very neat and new 500 Euro bills.

Always negotiate with the owner. In Brazil everything is possible to negotiate.
When I arrive in Rio I usually end up with gaining R$500 just by comparing the rates.

I asked few questions on this forum, you guys were very helpful in making my trip a memorable one so here is something from my side.

I arrived in Rio early morning and took uber from airport to Copacabana. About are 30 due to rush hour traffic. Checked in and went to Copa583 around 11 which became my default go to place. There were about 10 girls in line up, they all enter rooms, introduce themselves and kiss on the cheeks. All were quite enthusiastic. However about 70% were black, not my cup of tea.
