Being a lawyer won't help you to know female and male anatomy unless you want to sue transexuals becuase you were lied and screwed Loool. Start studying medicine and you will never have trouble recognizing transexuals LOOL. Most important thing (don't be drunk) In Brazil, some women are believed to be and look like transexuals but they are not, because they take some pills. You can't judge a book by its cover. The only way to recognize is being sober, being in a place that only employs women and knowing the male and female anatomy. Because even women that take pils, they still have their female anatomy, even men that take pills and had a surgery, they still have their male anatomy.

Not exactly 100% true. There is a thread in the Thailand part of the forum focused on how to spot these types of people. Given their numbers in Thailand, I think that's a good exception. How do you spot and avoid!

I think this the is second time I had this situation. Last time some girl who had man voice in Montecarlo. I end up having sex with her and now in London I paid £100 per hour after she took the dress off. Voice too manly and I could tell tell there is surgery happen which hided his dick. I asked are you 100 % female to which I get the response boys re coming. She was 5 10 tall. Now I don't understand why boys getting surgeries to act like to woman so we can fuck them as woman. New way to make money. I accepted my loss and said good bye and met my Hungarian but this episode is happening everywhere to my friend in Russia too. I think it happened to me in Montecarlo once where a man did surgery and met me as woman. Did this happen to anyone else. I am a lawyer in UK.

    Buying in Rio

Today it's bad business and a lot of headache. However if they manage to sell the apartments today they will make a good profit. Personally I always prefered to rent apartments.

Remember, it requires some efforts not to be screwed when buying apartments. If you're not having the language skills or even know how to find the address of a terma I think you should consider twice before buying an apartment.
I agree with your remarks. Even if you are fluent in Portuguese the chances of being conned are endless. If someone is serious about buying then I suggest they contract an honest local lawyer (not so straightforward) and get to know a good realtor. Then familiarise yourself with Brazilian law. Your lawyer should find out if there are any unpaid charges on the property (eg: condominium fees) because when you buy you inherit all debts on the property.

I have heard horror stories over the years such as locals selling apartments they never actually owned with the help of dodgy lawyers. It is so much easier to rent. To buy overseas real estate you really need to know what you are doing.

Should have gotten out during the boom!!

When you rent you can pick up and walk out at anytime and you have someone to fix shit that breaks. When you buy, you could be creating a headache for yourself. Also, buying is a young person's game. If you are over 60 then do you really want to be buying shit? A joy of being older is that you no longer have shit that ties you down, e.g. wife, kids, mortgage, job.
I know a few people who sold during the economic boom. Right after brasil was chosen to host the Olympics, the price of real estate went thru the roof, almost all of my friends sold their places for BIGGGGG profits!! Brasilians were responsible for the economic real estate boom in Miami, many sold their apartments for millions and then bought beach front condos in Miami while the economy was still recovering in America.
