I found interesting that so many questions in the Brazil discussions should have belonged to the tripadvisor instead wasting resources here.

Trip Advisor is full of people that have made the journey the same way you hope to do. ISG is full of people that have made the journey 1000 times and in many cases live in the places that you are going. So where do you think you will get the best all-around information from? I live in Thailand and just recently someone posted about a company running a 6 month cell phone data plan for $60. What are the chances of having found out about that on TA? The info outside of mongering that I have gotten here and from guys that I have met here has many times literally shaped and changed my life.

I am really good at charming women and exceptional at bedding them. I really do know how the pieces fit together. What I often lack is knowledge of how to get from point A to point be in the best manner. When I went to Bangkok a member had taken the time to detail the best way to get to the airport. I read a lot of posts, but that was the most valuable. The other day here someone mentioned the train. Brazilians I know avoid it and say it is too dangerous, particularly for women. However, that post promoted me to take another look. From an esteemed member of this forum I found out about checking air fare prices in Brazil and using a proxy so it appears that you are a in Brazil. Also, that you can pay over time. I could go on and on, but would rather just say a big thank you to those who take the time to share your experiences instead of reminiscing about Help or comparing Brazil to other countries. Now, that is worthless.

Hi everyone,

Just wondered if any of you regulars speak very little Portuguese or none at all? If so do you still enjoy Rio?

Really want to try Rio in September but worried about the language barrier.

Been to Colombia and whilst I did enjoy it, I found language barrier frustrating. I didn't find it too much of a problem with the girls, because I only like ST and used Google translate but had trouble everywhere else. For example I found it difficult trying to communicate with the cleaner and getting my laundry done etc but mainly whilst ordering food in restaurants as unfortunately I'm a very picky eater.

Tats on a garota were somewhat of a negative a few years ago for me, by but not as much now. That being said, from my experience, of the many Termas I have been to throughout the years, for whatever reason, 4 x4 has had the highest percentage of garotas with tats (Loaded with tats). However, there are still many to choose from that have a small quantity or no tats at all at 4 x4.

Many people get tats to stand out, to show they are different. As more and more people get them, my bet is that they will be valued less and we will see fewer people getting them.

When everyone started putting colored ribbons on their luggage so they could easily identify them on the carousel, mine remained bare. Excuse me, that is mine right there. The one with nothing tied to the handle.

I'm okay with a couple small, discreet tattoos, but I'm turned off by arm / leg sleeves and tattoos across the chest and / or back.

I didn't see any girls with full arm / leg inks. There were a couple with big visible tats on their bodies. But most had little to no ink.

Went to 4 x 4 last night and it was packed with girls, about 2:1 girls to guys ratio. Someone mentioned in a previous post that he was disappointed with the talent level at 4 x 4. I have to totally disagree with him and I am a very picky person. There were 6-7 8's and 3 9's and one absolute 10. I approached a couple of the 8's, one of the 9's, and the 10.

To get a taste of Brazilian food, go eat at a Brazilian restaurant, if there's one in your city. They're all you can eat steakhouses, with buffets. You won't get a big hunk of meat. The waiters come around and give you slices of the grilled meat. I personally don't find Brazilian food overly spicy. Sauces?? They don't even make gravy for the mashed potatoes. Smh.

The closest one is a few hours away, my brothers been and said it was amazing though. Will have to get there before I go.

I could of just told her straight up that I wanted to fuck her and she would've probably went with me but the session would've been mediocre at best. I rather have GFE and passionate sex with a 7 than a mediocre session with a 9 or a 10. It was hard to resist pulling anyone of them. But I had promised a girl I met earlier that I would see her. Her name is Maiara, 25 why / o and she is a solid 8 in looks. She has perfect pearl white teeth and a gorgeous smile. Jet black hair that goes down to her back. All natural body. She's uber nice, easy going, very educated and polite. She's in law school and her English is very good. We had a great convo talking mainly about her private life and her future plans. The question of language is a little over-analyzed here. Smartphones make life easier abroad. As I recently posted in the SP thread, global travelers should pick up a language book or visit some language websites for an hour or two. In the Brazil category here, there is thread devoted to sexual and other words and phrases.

As far as food, Copacabana and Ipanema are world class tourist destinations. You can literally find any food you desire. Menus are usually in both Portuguese and English near the beach. If you are one of those eaters that has to have everything prepared a certain way, you're probably fucked. But hey, that's why you're in Rio.
