Enjoy your next trip to Rio de Janeiro in April. Unfortunately I am fucking stuck in the land of the rising sun at that time.

Centaurus sucks but there are some stunners out there. But they take people for fools. Not only gringos even Brazilians. The staff in every terma ask for tips both from Gringos and Brazilians. But there are always stunners in Termas, The atmosphere is more important in a terma. The aim of our mongering experience is to enjoy as much as possible and not to stick to one place like many gringos do. I think everybody must hit every terma before judging. I know some people that prefer Cancun and some solarium, Personally I prefer 4 by 4. I know you hit every puteiro in Rio de Janeiro though our tastes are very different. I didn't want my post to become a "Centaurus vs Centro" thing; like you had to pick sides, one or the other. All clubs, whether we're talking about the more expensive termas, the Centro termas, clinicas or Villa Mimosa have their good qualities and patrons who swear by them. What I don't like is when one terma is singled out as being a suckers bet. Or that you'the have to be an idiot or on crack to go there.

I'll add that back about 5 years ago I was getting tired of Centaurus. I saw a lot of the same girls and the vibe was bad. Then L'oumo and Help closed (dark days in Rio) and I took a long break from Brazil, spending my time instead at the FKKs, Moscow and Barcelona. Upon my return to Rio, I found Centaurus to be revitalized with a good supply of new girls and a customer service vibe I found, at times, to be lacking in the past. Not now. The girls are much less pushy, the new front desk clerk was very friendly and even the 40 minute rooms were a nice size. I also appreciate that the music isn't so loud my eardrums are blown the fuck out by the end of the evening. It's nice to have a conversation without yelling in someone's ear just to be heard. And yes, Turgid, and with all due respect and in my opinion, the girls at Centaurus we're a level above 4 x4, only because I'm not a big fan of tats, silicone, etc. There's fewer girls of that variety at Centaurus. But it's all subjective and there's no way to reach a consensus the topic. It's whatever floats your boat.

I prefer 4 by 4 over other termas but I also go to the termas in zona sul. I prefer 4 by4 because I get better vibes from girls and there is a bigger selection of girls and there are different girls everyday. That's only my preference, I agree there are stunners in Centaurus like every high end terma. Many girls don't have silicone in 4 by 4.

The quality of girl is the same in every terma, only the location makes the price more expensive.

I wouldn't selectively take apart a forum post that admits "none of this is science". I thought it was interesting that based on anecdotal evidence (an observation if I may) that before the late 90's Brazilian Playboy models generally had bigger asses and smaller breasts than the USA Playboy. European heritage is more dominant in the south of Brazil and black and indigenous heritage dominate the north of Brazil. Brazil is a multicultural country, there are girls for every taste.

Expensive clubs like Centaurus will always have patrons even if the girls are no better than other clubs. There are people who like to believe that they are in an exclusive environment and would not venture into Centro because they wish to avoid rubbing shoulders with 'the lower classes'. It happens in every country. As for me my budget does not allow me to make too many visits to the exclusive clubs but in Brazil that is not a problem. For me Brazil is by far the world's best mongering destination.
