It can easily be done in both places. Your choices will be limited to lower price places but there are still plenty of them in both places. It can be dangerous when you want to go cheap in your situation. Your problem is that you don't know the area and don't know the language so you need a guide. I am going to take a slightly different stance on this. In Sao Paulo some clinics are around $35 for half hour full service. If a person did not plan on playing every day and did pinch pennys it could be done. Maybe plan on 1 week instead of two weeks or as stay in a hostel for several of the days. Hotels can be booked for less than $100 per night. I stayed at Airbnb for $24 per night my last trip. So, $700 for hotels for a week, leaves $1300 for food and play. A person can eat for under $20 per day so even if you use $300 for the food that leaves $1000. $140 per day for entertainment is doable. Especially if again you do not plan every day and can double up the money for a special treat.

I do agree with the last post that it can cost quite a bit more to have a comfortable good time. My point is not to argue against that but to offer an alternative.

I will be in Sao Paulo 3-5 days and Rio 5-8. I could afford Scandallo but I think there are a lot of wealthy elites driving the prices there which is ok and will attract more girls.

Currently in Medellin a 9 or 10 will charge $200 usd and up. (not all night) A La Isla girl similar or a little less. Seems that in 3 weeks you will have many more things to do than "mongering". Rio is the place for lots of other activities. And the outdoors seems much nicer. (never been) time will tell. I hope Scandallo is 1/2 as good as the hype. That includes the pricing.

Monte Carlo has a nice card right when you check in where they explain the various options. But as I say the girl will go for a suite and an hour unless you say you want a cabine and a half. They are very nice about no grudge or change in service for shorter time or smaller room in my experience.

You are looking at about 50 bucks a day after you pay for your Hotel / Airbnb. You basically have 2 options.

1) If you have a deep roster of friends, family and non-working girls, then you can "Ball on a Budget". Take girls on cheap local dates that only cost you a few dollars and hope you get laid.

2) Do the backpacker method of staying at a Hostel and hope you score other backpackers.

You'll say that the average price for 1 hour with an independent is how much? In Colombia I think it's possible for $50 or less, but Brazil seems much more expensive.

With that budget you would be much better off making your trip 1 week instead of 3. Trying to stretch $2000 into 3 weeks is going to be frustrating.

I arrived at prive Eden, Copacabana 583, apt 401 at 5:30 Monday. Rang the bell. You will probably find the prices on the gp guia or gp arena forums. Just use Google chrome and translate the information into English, you could probably work it out from the numbers obviously but the reviews might be helpful too.

Sorry don't recall the others. My report out from March has some info on Monte Carlo pricing and a lot of good detail on the venue and the girls. If you search "Monte" you will find other more recent reports confirming girl quality.

In brief, we first took the bigger rooms (but not big!) and hour time. That adds up. Later we took half hours and cabine rooms which are quite tiny but who gives a fuck. Overall it's not cheap by Brazilian standards but the quality is there and honesty it's just fun to hang out and drink and pick which girl your going to take. It's not a kid in candy store like Scandallo but on a small scale it's fun to hang out in a robe with some girl stroking your thigh and drinking a beer while you decide if she's the one.
