Figures I keep seeing the theme of girls in places like Perola Negra being way too restrictive. Girls not doing anal. Covered BJs. No GFE / PSA. Girls lying about what they do. Aristhotle, I can't vouch for RJ Termas girls, but I just wrapped up a 6 week trip to SP where I hung out with a good mix of Boate & Clinica girls and I am happy to report that not 1 girl offered me a CBJ or performed sub-par in bed AND a healthy majority my girls simply blew me away in bed as per usual in Brazil. This is where I value Vagabundo's posts. I wonder his latest toughts on higher end termas lately, and if what I read in GPArena coincides with what he sees. I mean I'll find out myself soon, and will report it. But I wouldn't want to find girls who lie and are terrible just because they're a hottie and charge 600-ish Reals for an hour.

I am going to look for negras and mulatas mostly and it does look like they tend to be less expensive than the whiter girls. I much prefer an Airbnb for the money you get way more space I get two rooms, have a room for on my luggage and clothes in a room to sleep in and a whole big living room with Netflix so I have my shows to watch English on the big TV. And if you get tired of eating out, you have a kitchen cook in. I always ask ahead of time if I can have a guest over. I'm just honest and say I'm a single guy traveling by myself if I meet someone if it's OK to bring it back to the room and I've always been told have a great time. LOL and that way I never have issues. And Rio it's definitely not guarantee you can bring a guest back to the hotel room.

Man, I don't want to reveal too much about my real life. But this is unbelievably common. It happens disproportionately to the elderly, for sure. But no demographic is immune. There is a point that, in our brain, the expected gain (be it a beautiful Ukrainian, lottery, etc.) outweighs any common sense. And I promise you, it happens far more than you think. I've worked cases like this for the last 15 or 20 years. The sad part is that these people never see what's right in front of them. I can tell you heartbreaking stories where people have lost everything along with adding truly insurnountable debt and they call me every name in the book for doubting their sweet Katrina. Nonetheless, it's a good reminder because I see it happen far too often.

It's not an easy question. If you like to have more space, vacation rentals get you more bang for your buck because hotel suites are universally costly.

If things like service and predictability are more important, stay at a hotel.

Both, hotels and airbnbs, may or may not be affordable or guest-friendly, so you must read airbnb listings carefully. As for GF-friendly hotels, there is plenty of info in this thread.

For limited budget, look for hotels or rentals 2-3 blocks away from the beach, they tend to be considerably cheaper. Also, if you're not crazy about the beach, stay at a Centro hotel instead of Copacabana.

But nowadays we're in the revenge travel mode, so expect to pay more than you would've a few years ago.
