Safado69 is giving good advice. I personally love Copacabana and Ipanema beaches on the weekend. Not so much from a mongering perspective, but as a chance to enjoy eye candy and maybe flirt some with the locals.

Termas 4 x 4 is a personal favorite. If you can wind up in centro Rio Friday by late afternoon, Termas 4 x4 is worth the visit. I seem to remember people have checked luggage there on their way to or back from the airport, but I'm not sure. Thanks Exec Talent. Friends, totally new to the Brazil scene. Seems like RIO has more action / value for money than So Paulo? Appreciate recommendations what neighborhoods / hotels are best to stay around to monger (Does bigger hotel chains like Marriotts allow Chica's? Have zero Portuguese. So need to stick with google translator. Or better yet Casa with standard Menu). Considering staying next 2 weekends in RIO and Fly to So Paulo during the week for work and mongering in So Paulo during evenings.

Sao Paulo has tons of options the chicks follow the money but if you are planning your weekends in Rio note that the Centro options are limited. The major termas (Tier 1 and Tier 2) are closed and a few clinicas may be open. Best to stay in Zona Sul / Copacabana. You will have access to a few clinicas / prives (Copa583 highly recommended here, Delirio Oriental, Edenspa) on Saturday (closed Sunday), termas (Monte Carlo, Centaurus and Solarium is not too far but all are closed on Sunday) and the other hit or miss spots like Mabs, Dolce Vita, Sensoo, Barbarellas, Casablanca, Kalabria etc open every day but I personally am not a fan.

Hotels you are partially correct the girl friendly hotels are Marriott and Hilton but check out Pestana and Rio Porto Bay much cheaper and better value in my opinion and right on the beach too. English will be no problem in a tourist area like Copa. Good luck.
