What I can't fathom is why so many guys keep screwing around with PA when there are so many other better online options (do a search and RTFF). Thrill seekers who like to live on the edge I guess.

I love PA. I had a session the other day with a massage chick downtown on 13 de Maio. I was about to ask her to marry me. There are plenty of ads with ratings. Just go to one of those. If you see somebody with glamour shots and no rating then you may want to question those. But the chicks that have normal pictures and ratings always blow my mind.

Now I put cash in Uber Cash for times that Uber has problem charging my card. I had to switch to cash recently because Uber had problem charging my card, then said I owed money for the trip despite I requested and paid in cash. Uber did cancel the charge after I contacted them but Uber cash solve this problem. I know sometimes they will still let me request a ride without payment but not this time.

The other day I paid cash for a mousse from a street vendor. It was are $7. The vendor gave me are $42 back, then proceed to fill my cup for the are $1 that he could not give me.

I am in the process of planning a trip to Brazil, and one of the travel sites had something about needing a negative Covid test the day before arrival. I was surprised, and thought this might be old information. Does Brazil still have any kind of Covid restrictions or requirements for entry?

I was told by United only a vaccine card. No test needed anymore.

The site is not search friendly there are thousands of posts. It would probably help if there was a single post or thread with sites that others have used and would recommend.

On my recent trip, which was with a few friends the following sites were used and I can confirm that what you see is what what you are likely to get. The photos are touched up, but 90% accurate in most cases esp the profiles with video.

We pulled girls from these sites in Rio, SP and Florianopolis.

I just moved from Joo Pessoa to Recife. I was not expecting that, but the majority of the adds are, again, at exactly 2. 5 km of distance from me.
So my theory just changed that its the website itself that is putting up fake adds. Why though I can't fathom.

Back on July I used the above ATM at a Manaus Mall. The next day I realized that the ATM gave me an exchange rate of about R4. 70 per US $ when the exchange rate was about R5. 25 per US $. I was furious because this sneaky Brazilians ATMs should pay the commercial rate but they don't, and screw us tourist.

Not to mention that in 2021 I went to an ATM of the same Banco 24 horas at the Cardenal Arcoverde metro station in Rio. I wanted to withdraw R1,000. The f. Ing machine showed me a 15% fee! Obviously I canceled the damn transaction. However, my account got charged $191. I fought the charge with my American bank, they said that the Brazilian ATM company has opened an inquiry about a possible ATM malfunction. The ATM technician reported that the ATM machine was operating fine. As a consequence I got robbed my money!

My experience is that at Banco do Brasil and BRADESCO they abide by the oficial rate at the time of transaction.

However, I had very bad experiences with BANCO 24 horas.

Can anyone give me tips about which ATMs use and which ATMs avoid? Is it that Brazilian banks are allowed not to follow international exchanges rates?

Any similar experiences? Please advice.

This is because at some point during the transaction you answered "I accept" instead of answering "I reject". What you reject is the (crappy) ATM's exchange rate. After you reject, the transaction goes ahead and you'll be debited at the Visa/Master rate by your bank.

ATM fees are another independent issue. I've used Bradesco as they don't charge any ATM fees.

Besides fake ads, there can be multiple people working from 1 building or even 1 apartment. That does not mean the ad is fake. You are trying to read too much into it. Go find out if it is real then report back. Does no good to be debating it here when you are right there and can see for yourself.

Many people here complain that PhotoAccompagnantes have a lot of fake profiles.

One thing I noticed is that when I click "Me localize", then precise distances show up. There are always a majority of adds that are at exactly the same distance (e. G. "2. 5 km".

My theory is that the same person is posting all these adds constantly.

Here's a script (thanks to ChatGDP) that will remove those adds. YMMV, I can't guarantee that all fake adds are removed (duh! Nor that only fake adds are removed. This is "AS-IS", etc.

Instructions:

Load the page, click on localize me, tweak distance, add filters if you want. Click on "Procurar".

Scroll down the page to have more results load.

Open the developer's tools so you gain access to the Javascript Console (right-click = select inspect).
