That being said, I was recently in Hawaii and saw this guy in the lobby with his surfboard getting ready to walk to the beach. He was in his late 60's but his body was like a 25 year old with a Six pack. He surfed in retirement. I realized then we all need to retire in a beach mongering destination so we can all surf or boogie board in the day and monger at night. Brazil seems to be the best spot for that.

1. Even the lowest fare puts you in an ocean-view room.
2. They have 2 pools. When the rooftop is full, the one next to the restaurant still usually has space.
3. Gold elites get free breakfast and it's easy to get Gold with a credit card (not sure about the lounge access nowadays, but it used to be the case).
Of all these benefits, I value the ocean view the most. The lowest fare at JW buys you a view of nothing.

Mind Am I sharp or forgetful? Can I think fast or is my mental capacity (although good) slowing down? Can I handle stressful situations? Am I losing a step and got scammed or a provider {s) stole from me without me noticing? Can I get myself out of an environment or situation that is rapidly deteriorating or out of my control? Body Am I physically in good to moderate shape? Do I need assistance in certain situations? Can I move fast enough to avoid attackers? If confronted by an attacker, can I defend myself? Do I tire easily? Do I have medical condition (s) that can turn negative without notice? Can I readily evac to a medical facility if my health suddenly deteriorates? Am I subject to injury? Does my plumbing work sufficiently to enjoy myself or am I working too hard or at the mercy of pharmaceuticals? If pharmaceuticals are needed, is it compromising my health in other areas? Overall, it's an individual's assessment of tier abilities when traveling alone.
Ok, after all that I say between 65-70 With a strong penchant for 65. But hey, look at Arnold Schwarzenegger, born on July 30,1947 (age 76) on observation he looks like he can still handle himself. I don't know? All I know I'm still going strong despite my elderly status.

Here are more examples.
1 and 2. Hilton Leme security have eagle eyes. There are two entrances to the elevators. They've caught me twice right at the elevators even when it was super busy and I used the entrance further away.
3. Wouldn't work in bigger hotels. They'll very politely ask her to stay in the lobby while your run your errand.
4 and 5: I suspect that most receptionists aren't blind and most mongers don't like any kind of uncertainty. What if I don't succeed in sneaking a girl in? Do I need a plan be? But if I always must have a plan be, it's easier to just proceed to plan be and avoid the aggravation.
That being said, my favorite hotels in Rio: Hilton Copa and Grand Hyatt do allow guests after filling out a long form, so there is that. Hyatt is asking them not use common areas, Hilton does not. And, by the way, there are plenty of vacation rentals, both in Rio and Salvador (and I suspect elsewhere) that won't allow guests. It's not uncommon.

I'm reading a lot about problems finding GF hotels. Some suggest motels for a short-time fuck, book a double room or book two rooms. I don't say they are bad advices but I wouldn't do it. I have stayed in hotels and pousadas in 79 different cities in Brazil and I always managed to bring girls back to my hotel.
My strategy is simple. I find a nice looking hotel in a good location. I ask to see the room and then I negotiate the price, almost 100% of the hotels will lower the price specially if you pay cash. Before I fill in the check-in form I ask if it's OK if a friend visits me. The answers will be one of these:
1. No problem, no extra fee even if she spend the night as long as she doesn't eat breakfast.
2. No problem, no extra fee as long as she just stay for a few hours.
3. No problem, but they will charge a "cama-extra"-fee. A small fee for an extra bed (even though there is no extra bed).
4. No guest allowed whatsoever. This answer is very rare. Then I go to another hotel.
If I against all odds ends up in a hotel / pousada that doesn't allow guests or if I want to avoid paying an extra fee there are solutions.
1. If you already have your key just pretend it's raining and walk straight to the elevator with your girl.
2. Tell the receptionist you and your guest are just going up to your room very quickly to. Invent anything. Try out some beverage or food you brought from home / give her a present you brought to her. Use your fantasy. As they say in Brasil "cara de pau".
3. Smaller hotels and pousadas sometimes have no night staff as the guests have their own key. As easy as pie to bring girls.
4. In smaller cities the hotels might only have a receptionist who sleeps on duty. Just sneak by. Once in Natal the night receptionist was a blind lady. Me and my friend walked by her with new girls every evening.
5. If there is only one guy in the reception, make him leave the reception and let your girl sneak by. Ask to buy a cold drink if they are stored in a back room or ask for extra toilet paper.
It's important to be nice and friendly with receptionists. Have friendly talks with the receptionists, specially the ones who works at night. They might skip any extra fees. In Fortaleza I brought a very hot regular girls. The hotel was very strict about guests and my girl had forgot her ID. The receptionist could loose his job if he let her visit my room. Instead he told me she could visit the roof terrace where we had a lovely fuck with a great view. In a hotel in Salvador the night receptionist never charged any fees. He noticed I brought non-pro girls every night, sometimes twice at a time. As I tried to help him hook up with my GFs friends he didn't care to charge any fees.
Another approach is to stay in a motel. In Manaus I stayed for weeks in a superclean and nice motel next to Teatro Amazonas. I could brings as many girls as I wanted. The female receptionists even encouraged me to bring more girls. They only complained once when I brought a bit heavy girl with giant tits I just had met on the street, they told me the girls wasn't up to my standard.
Renting apartment is also a great solution. I never stayed in an apartment that didn't allow guests.
Conclusion, avoid problems with hotels by getting to an agreement about the rules and fees about bringing guests. Always use your fantasy when bringing back girls.
