Single guy that just wants to have some fun every now and then. Personally for me I would stop somewhere around my 30's. 20's you can fuck around with and some of your 30's but definitely for me I would like a partner for that support and hopefully that second income stream as millennials are getting fucked by the feds, inflations, a crazy housing market, etc. Its rough doing it all on your own for this generation.

That being said I definitely would like a foreign wife, brazilin obviously or maybe some eastern european that appreciates the little things (excluding my dick). I wouldn't count out american girls as I've met some really great girls here but they were taken as they should be since they are a catch. It's tough but doable. I just like the different cultures so I would lean more to having a brazilian wife. I just want the "leave it to beaver" scenario.

Alot of people also tend to forget that we live a pretty long life. I still have 50+ years ahead of me most likely and after all those years things do start to get stale. Even rich people have a hard time trying to stay happy because after the 10th trip to the Maldives it starts to get a bit old. When you have a partner or even a kid you can re-experience that feeling of an old place as new through their eyes. I know what ice cream tastes like but my son doesn't and once he does and his eyes light up at this new joy in life it's fun to see that discovery of life again.

You can have all the good intentions in the world, but your situation can turn out shitty. You never know unless you try, but is trying worth the risk?

Then shit I never thought about until taking Biology in college. What if your kid is born with a birth defect such as Down Syndrome or Spina Bifida? You do not get to choose how the baby comes out. You also do not get to choose how your mate changes. Something clicked in my daughter's mom as soon as the baby came out. I do not know if she got bipolar all of a sudden or what.

Long story short my daughter's mom estranged herself from her family. Has not seen them in about 20 years. She never made my daughter go to school so she ended up dropping out at 16. You do not think my nostalgia was to have my daughter at least graduate high school? My daughter is now almost 27 and my grandkids are 5, but following in her mother's footsteps my daughter has estranged herself from my family. I see how her mother acted when she was growing up and not being fair to her and how she is now acting as not being fair to my grandkids. You are not hurting the people you are setting out to hurt. Hell I am free to do what I want and could have always made another kid if I wished. But did I want it to turn out shitty again? That was not a risk I was willing to take. Not after having to pay all that child support to people that did not even care about their future. I had my go at it and it turned out shitty. That is fucking life. Like I said, you never know if you do not try, but at this point I am glad that shit is over and every dime that I make is now for me alone. I do not owe a mf shit. House paid off, kid grown. I can do what the fuck I want to do when the fuck I want to do it.

The liking different cultures thing is overrated. Do you speak Portuguese? Do you speak the other Eastern European languages? Well I speak 5 languages with a Masters in International Business, so if I do not know anything then I KNOW different cultures. Most people from any culture spend their time working to keep a roof over their family's heads and food on the table. It does not matter shit if a white rose means death or if you think it is lucky to break a glass when you get married. It is the day to day rubber meets the road shit that you need to think about, not their name for Santa Claus.

She cheated on his ass the first chance she had. Some guy put on her facebook thanks for last night. When he got home he asked her if it was true and she admitted it. My main girlfriend is Brazilian. We take nice trips together. Last February we were in Tahiti and she got drunk as a skunk at a restaurant and she said something that I got on video but did not let her see. She was complaining that I only wanted her to travel with. Well first of all why would I need to spend extra money so you could go somewhere? I could go alone or with someone else. Even if that was the case, why the fuck would you complain about seeing and doing shit in life that you never even imagined? Being a man, I would just ride the shit out hoping it did not end. I'm a very practical person with realistic goals and ideas in mind so that's just my two cents and of course life works in mysterious ways and I can be singing a different tune as I still have many more years left to pay the IRS so who knows.

Settling down, having kids and all that isn't easy, I know but I believe it's worth it for me. Anything worth it's weight in life isn't going to be easy. You don't become the greatest NFL player or NBA player by just doing nothing and not sacrificing anything. It also isn't guarantee but if you don't at least try than it definitely is guarantee you won't.

Depends on what you like.

If you like the white brazilian girls with european features than Rio grande do sul or santa catarina is your best bet.

If you like the darker brazilian girls with african features than Bahia is your place.

Sperto, this might work for a seasoned Porto-speaking traveler. Wouldn't work for most of us. And not everywhere. Plus people rarely start looking for accommodations after rolling into town. I've done that, especially in small towns, but that's not a common trend.

Here are more examples.

1 and 2. Hilton Leme security have eagle eyes. There are two entrances to the elevators. They've caught me twice right at the elevators even when it was super busy and I used the entrance further away.

3. Wouldn't work in bigger hotels. They'll very politely ask her to stay in the lobby while your run your errand.

4 and 5: I suspect that most receptionists aren't blind and most mongers don't like any kind of uncertainty. What if I don't succeed in sneaking a girl in? Do I need a plan be? But if I always must have a plan be, it's easier to just proceed to plan be and avoid the aggravation.

That being said, my favorite hotels in Rio: Hilton Copa and Grand Hyatt do allow guests after filling out a long form, so there is that. Hyatt is asking them not use common areas, Hilton does not. And, by the way, there are plenty of vacation rentals, both in Rio and Salvador (and I suspect elsewhere) that won't allow guests. It's not uncommon.

I'm flying in early from SP to Rio in OCT and going to book one night there so I can just drop the bags off and start enjoying rio. Booking an airbnb for the rest of the trip.

Does anyone know if it's GF friendly or not? Grand hyatt is usually pretty flexible but I will be staying with a buddy and I have it booked for two people. Sometimes they just charge 150 BRL to let them stay at least in SP but idk in barra. If anything I can get a love motel room for 150 BRL in rio but if I can have a girl over for an hour or two that would be ideal as it's in a suite.

Hugh Hefner never retired. He died in his 80's. If he didn't have access to young women, then he would have stopped way before. I knew a guy in his early 60's who didn't monger, so he checked out of sex. Never shaved his face for years. Beard like ZZ Top. Didn't care about his appearance, because in my opinion, he wasn't attracted to old women and was against hookers. He used to bust my balls for going to Mexico or wherever.

I had another friend I worked with that committed suicide at 59. He couldn't get young women anymore and didn't know what to do with himself other than work and bet sports.

I visited a friend staying at JW once. It's a perfectly good GF hotel in excellent location, although not to the normal JW standards and with tiny standard rooms. Both JW and Hilton have seen better days. I prefer Hilton for the following reasons:

1. Even the lowest fare puts you in an ocean-view room.

2. They have 2 pools. When the rooftop is full, the one next to the restaurant still usually has space.

3. Gold elites get free breakfast and it's easy to get Gold with a credit card (not sure about the lounge access nowadays, but it used to be the case).

Of all these benefits, I value the ocean view the most. The lowest fare at JW buys you a view of nothing.

I am assuming your addressing the Solo Monger. If you travel with a partner or in groups, your group may insulate you against detrimental (opportunistic) situations / issues / problems.

On an individual (Solo Monger) basis it really depends on your assessment of your mind and body.

Mind Am I sharp or forgetful? Can I think fast or is my mental capacity (although good) slowing down? Can I handle stressful situations? Am I losing a step and got scammed or a provider {s) stole from me without me noticing? Can I get myself out of an environment or situation that is rapidly deteriorating or out of my control? How well can I control issues / situations? Am I unknowingly putting myself in compromising positions that could cause me Injury or endanger my life? (Ask yourself critical questions to truthfully assess your mental health status and your ability to maintain above average Situation Awareness https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Situation_awareness).

Body Am I physically in good to moderate shape? Do I need assistance in certain situations? Can I move fast enough to avoid attackers? If confronted by an attacker, can I defend myself?
