What does Brazil have on offer?

Brazil probably has the following in abundance:
    • Comfortable (3-4 star) accommodations: Check (Naturally, depends on $$$, City, Location and Safety)
    • plentiful good food and drink: Check (from fine dining, Brazilian Churrascas (BBQs), World Class Pizzerias to Classic Street Food. YMMV in diff cities)
    • Affectionate women: Check (in major abundance in most any city or parts of Brazil. Doesn't matter how old you are, just have the necessary $$$)

Oh! BTW, having a warm personality and/or sunny disposition wouldn't hurt either.
    • Compatriots: Not So Much, if at all? (I don't think there are large established communities of expats like in Thailand, Phils, DR or CR)

    Just my 2-cents. Good Luck!

Yes, you should come to Barra the Tijuca, Rio de Janeiro.

You can contact Senor Nounce or Senor JimmyBoy or Senor MichaelSamuel, who can help us to be in touch to address your concerns.

I enjoy conversation but I speak no Portuguese and very little Spanish and at my age (60's) it's slow learning. My plan is to come home only for Christmas.

Got a few questions I'd appreciate answers to:

    1) Can anyone recommend a gym in the Copacabana area that I can pay per session or join for a few weeks?
Academia Fitness, or something similar, don't remember the exact name on R Xavier da Silveira.

Yeah seems a bit strange but I suppose you have to adapt to your surroundings. Thanks for the heads up.
