BB, I don't think that anyone is trying to be a jerk, but everyone just seems to be simply outraged at the rate you paid. I have read some of your other posts, mainly London and Chile, if I remember correctly, where what you paid might be a good deal, yes, but in Brazil, it is not. What everybody is trying to tell you is that in Brazil, even in Sao Paulo, which is somewhat more expensive, you got a really LOUSY deal.

So take your time to go through the photo gallery, look at other pictures people have posted and what they paid, and you will see what they mean. Learn and move on, hopefully to better deals in the future!

You are right, this is the photo section, so I'll do my deed and post one from my 2004 archives. As those who have been there will easily be able to verify, this picture was taken at Balcony in Rio:
