Wow! That question takes me back to my first time going into a place like this. I was 23 and eager, that was 12 years ago! Ahhh every time I go there it brings me back to that happy time in my life; it brings a smile to my face.


Well Spidy, number one thing when going to a nice place like this is to feel good of how you look. And when I say "nice place" I do mean that, especially Cafe Foto, so treat it as such. Dress like if you were going to a nice lunch or dinner date. It's important to feel comforatable too. But remember, most of these girls took a long time to make themselves look good for you. I always find that, if you look nice too, somehow they seem more "animated." I donno why? Who really ever knows the pycho-ology of pros, or women in general for that matter?

Dress code, "California Casual" usually works. Of the many times I've been to these places I've never seen them turn anyone away because of how they're dressed. At Bomboa, you would fit in fine with jeans and a dress shirt.

At Cafe Foto, you need to dress up more. Think of it as going to a nice cocktail party - dress pants and a nice dress shirt would work. Some guys will be suits there. The garotas at Cafe Foto will be in cocktail dresses and other nice evening outfits.

Went to Millenium last night with a brazilian friend. It was Thursday, and the place was packed. However, although the girl:male ratio was rather low (approx 1:1), had a terrific time.

I had not been to Millenium since August, and remembered a different price structure. Without going into what it was, you should know that it now costs 70 reals to enter (this gets you 7 beers or three scotch's), and 70 reals for the room. The big change is that the girls can now charge whatever they can get away with. In the past, the house had a rule: 150 reals for cash and 170 for credit card. All of the girls started at 200 reals, and all went down to 150 instantly (my Brazilian friend was poised to pay 200 and I stopped him. One way to save money is not to let your garota order her own drink. Short report on Sampa, based on spending 4 nights there last week. Stayed in an apart-hotel in the Jardins area, R120 a night and didn't have to pay extra for the garotas. The hotel also let the garotas park their cars over night for free in their garage when we got back - a free parking spot came with the room.
