I received this morning a PM from a gent that will be satying in the Berrini / Brooklin Novo region.

I answered his questions about the best places, clinicas and privés to visit around his hotel.

There are several options available, ranging from 1km to no further than 4km from where he will stay.

As I wrote yesterday, this region is auto-sufficient in terms of restaurants, priv`s, clinicas and boites.

I mentioned to him the Cafe Gaugin but I didn't have in mind the facts concenring Cafe Gaugin.

Here are the facts. It is up to you to decide if it suits you or not. (Observation: I have never been there myself)...

Entrance fee / drinks: R$ 120, 00.

R$ 100 for a room.

R$ 200, 00 to R$ 400, 00 for the GDP.

Estimated total of the damage: around R$700.

All credit cards are accepted.

Is it good? Honestly, I don't know. There was a whole year hiatus between the penultimate and the last post on a national forum. It caters mostly gringo.

Yesterday I visited this Fernando Fefão's new venue.

The CLínica is very near do Congonhas airport, a very convenient location.

Fefão received me personally and showed me all the place. His staff if very simpathetic and will provide gringos all needed assistence. Al mejor credit cards accepted.

House is all new, very nice waiting room with all amenities (coffe, mineral wather, comfortable couches, wide screen TV ). This is the place were the GDP's line up for presentation. Yesterday there were seven girls avaliable.

House has 9 new and nice suites with beds, private bathrooms and air conditioners. All is absolutly new and clean.

Large beds provided (and not the f*king massage tables or matrasses on the floor!) I hate them!

I came in late so I saw only two girls yesterday. Hope to get there today and see Ludmilla, a very well recomended girl on the Forum Sex Dicas.

Will be posting as soom as I return from there!

Boites like Cafe Photo, Scandallo Lounge and Bomboa are certainly more easily handled by inexperienced gringos, I don't think Spy Bar is in this category if it is anything like W, Jardim America, WE or Garden (all boites run by owners of Spy Bar previously). These clubs were mostly catered to lokals who don't want to go to more publicly known places like Cafe Photo and you would not have any guarantee to find someone speaking or even understanding any English.

If I know ISG member that went there, I don't think so. It is still unchartered territory. But I surmise that at least one member of this board (if he gives me the permission to mention his name: Genghis Khan) as demonstrated interest for this new venue. In the past he liked WE and Garden so that might interest him.

As you said very few reports emanate from GP Guia. A total of 22 reports. 3 positive. 0 neuteur or negative.

One poster even said that going there is very expensive. He added that staying in his hotel to "play with himself" is priceless (Bater punheta sozinho no hotel nao tem preco).

Will I visit this place. I don't know yet. As I mentioned frequently I'm not really a fan of boîte (I don't like to pay entrance fees). The R$500 per se for the garota doesn't bother me that much though. For the same price I still prefer going to a regular bar and try to debunk a non-pro. As I'm not a newbie in São Paulo. With a certain command of Portuguese that I proudly speak with an accent (sotaque). I don't visit places such as Scandallo, Café Photo (last visit in 2011. Where I had a garota for R$300 instead of R$600) but still believe that these venues may attract a certain type of clientele that are ISG members.

Fo reasons I'm not aware of, it is forbidden to post reports on Bomboa, Scandallo Lounge, etc on the GP Guia.

I would also like to add that I am general agreement with Sui Generis and ABG about sharing information. I would however like to add some of my opinions.

This forum had a tendency to attack fellow hobbists for overspending. It is not so fulfilling to use time to write reports when the feedback is that nobody values the work put into a report. I also prefer to write my reports as a story and not by giving score cards. Words give a better description in my mind than a score which is highly subjective anyway and most of the time needs elaboration to be of general objective meaning.

Secondly I hope everyone understands that some people (girls or their pimps) might not want it publicly known that they are providers in this business. Because of that they don't want their names on a forum like this. As a result they might not continue to be your provider if you reveal their name here. In that case their names will of course not be disclosed in the report. However I would of course help as best I can to anyone contacting me on PM to get in touch with these providers.

I would like to add my 2 cents to this discussion.

Some people (me included) are sensitive to the illusion of a normal date. A prive or a clinica is much more of a mecanical experience. People who prefer to pay R$500 - R$600 to take a girl out from a boite is often the type that values relaxation, no time limit and the general feel of involvment from the garota. Not all men are wired in a way that they can get off with a girl (working girl or otherwise) without getting to know her a little bit and without waiting in a line to have sex with the girl you think but don't know if you like.

The men who are sensitive to this type of illusion (me included) also may prefer to spend a few hours in the bar or in a restaurant with the girl before going to bed to work up that illusion of a real date.

Some men (me included) don't get off that easily. It might take a few hours. So TLN might be required. I am not talking about erectile disfunction. There are pills to handle that kind of problems. I am talking about getting off requires relaxation and arousal. For some it requires chemistry which the environment in a prive or a clinica normally just doesn't provide.

I'm not saying a prive or a clinica will never work. If I meet someone extremely attractive or if somehow a fantasy can be fulfilled, that kind of environment can certainly work too. However experience has shown that it normally is more difficult.

Although it is my experience that it might take a bit more work to find a garota with a great attitude in a boite, more often than not I tend to find girls I think are better looking than in a prive or a clinica. A girl scores higher points with me if she looks and smells clean, dresses nicely and generaly behaves in an educated manner. I don't mean that my type of girls need to be borderline convent prospects but I don't prefer gangsta style girls unless she has an extremely good looking body or face. I am geared towards looks, so very rarely can attitude compare for looks in my book.

So to meet this type of needs I tend to prefer Cafe Photo, Spy Bar, Bomboa, Scandallo Lounge type of places or escortes from providers I trust can bring me what I like. I know it is more expensive, but I still prefer this way and I don't think I need to justify my preferances to anyone even though they might not understand and think I am overpaying.

I would also like to add that I don't like the idea put forward that experienced hobbists don't go to boites. There is more to the real story than just that. I have been travelling regularly to SP since before this millenium and I still prefer the boites.

In their defense, there probably isn't anything left to report at Redway that hasn't already been reported. Maybe they can report on a girl that they were with, but let's face it, that place is a revolving door of GDP's that are "here today and gone" tomorrow, so to speak. So anyone's best bet is to just go there and see who is in the lineup presented before them.

They should write about the exoerience they had with each girl, Yes Sir!

Name of the girl and a "resumée" of her performace is the most important information.

I'm a member of the brasilian GP Guia forum for more then ten years, I've reported more than 1. 200 Test Drives there. (It was throug the GP Guia that I met my dear friend Sui Generis ).

We, at the GP Guia, focus mainly to describe the garotas and her performace. And I've tried to do the same here!

Informations about the places can be obtained on the internet!

Each board member has his private desires. Some like Anal, others BBBJ / CIM or DATY.

So, IMHO our main goal is to tell the other members about the more recent experiences and advises. I particularly hate when I do not get what I want, in my case BBBJ / CIM! So for me reports as the one above are essencials.

So I suggest we all get more specific informations about the garotas. And it can be any garota, no matter if she charges charges R$20 for one pop at Rua Conselheiro Furtado 151 or a girl from the TV cast who cost over R$10. 000. That's essencial to the board members!

Only to finish, I woud woucher CLínica Cancioneiro, it's one of the best of São Paulo, it's very near to the Berrini hotels (Hilton, Hyatt) managment is very professional, no chance of being B&S. Also some english spoken!

On a forum like this one, the description of the physiscal prowess of a GDP is mandatory, if not it is like judging a restaurant only by reading the menu and looking at the pictures of the plates. You have to taste it in order to profess a sound judgment!

I have visited, almost regularly for the last 10 years, Clinica Cancioneiro and it is still one of my favorite spot. I remember the time when Hector was still there. What a colourfull person he is! It was easy for me to go there when I was based in Moema. Now that I stay closer to Centro, I have to think twice before taking a long ride there. I'll probably do it in September. What is convenient if you go to the barrio where is located Clinica Cancioneiro is that you can (or could) make a tour of different clinicas / privês that are close to each other: Clinica Cancioneiro (former Hector II) , Espaço Morumbi (former Cubo verde) , Privê Jaceru (not a big loss because that privê was a real shit hole) , and there is another Clinica whic name I have forgotten (just off Roque Petroni near Santo Amaro. There was also another clinica just in front of the preciding one. I even escorted a ISG member there in 2008). Not to mention the boite like Café Gaugin that cater a certain type of clientele. We can say that in terms of hobbying facilities, this region (Brooklin Novo / Berrini) is self-sufficient.

So I can also vouch for Clinica Cancioneiro!

What an honour it was! I still have fond memories of that time (2006/2008). Clean room, shower, security: I think that you mentioned the right words here and that explains why some people prefer this type of venue to other ones.

I think we didn't mention on this board that the owners of Spy Bar are Edson and Washington. These "Kings of the night" were previously behind famous and respected boites such as WE and Garden in Itaim Bibi. With these two guys as owners you can be assured that foreigners will be treated nicely and respectfully. You can even find people there that can help you if you don't know a word of Portuguese.

This is the perfect spot for foreign travelers, businessmen and rich and sophisticated men who favour quality over quantity. Keep in mind that the $500 for the garota is for MSOG and even TLN. Moreover, as there are no rooms available in the boite you can bring the garota in your own hotel room where you won't be bothered by other people. This is simply priceless.

Today I opted for this conveniently near to my hotel located place. During the presentation Patrizia kissed my lips, instead of pecking my cheek like the others. Taking this indication of mutual sympathy into account, I didn't make a mistake when I chose her.
