The next day, I ask her how much for her to come over. I won't post here because I know I'll get railed on by some of the pros about paying too much. It was more than I wanted to pay, but she's a legit 10 for me. If you really want to know the high price I paid, DM me. Someone you'd see out of a fashion magazine. I had to scratch the itch and had her come over to my hotel for 1 HR. Absolutely no issues getting her in, nobody in the lobby batted an eye, other than those admiring her beauty. Back in my room, this was the most GFE experience I've had so far. Lots of DFK, BBBJ until she gagged, and very responsive in DATY. Even while I'm fucking her, I just can't believe it. If this is what life is like in Brazil, except much cheaper once I become a veteran, I will definitely move down here! About comments about paying too much. I did make a comment about the initial ask of 1 K, which surprised me based on known connection price range. I don't think I commented on what you ended paying because that is up to you and it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks about it. You sharing that info here is very useful because I will be prepared for 1 K ask next time I visit connection. I think all info, positive and negative, is useful. Please don't let comments hold you back from sharing info.

In my 20 yrs of traveling to Brazil, I have never been asked how much cash I was carrying at either the US or Brazil border.

And frankly, it's not hard to conceal $5 k. Still.

I'm planning a trip to Sampa and Rio, tho I may go to Canada if it opens up soon and keep Brazil until the end of the year. I was reading and ran across warnings that you have to declare any currency more than 10,000 Reals at the border. Does anyone know if this is in effect and how onerous the declaration process is? I like to carry about $5 k US just in case I have ATM problems, which I did last time I was there (probably due to my bank's fuck up). I didn't even know about this at the time LOL, assuming that the currency control was the international $10 k US standard. I also read that most ATMs have a 1 k Reals limit per day? Due to above fuck up I didn't run into this. 1000 Reals isn't much. Any info is appreciated.

On my trip I changed 1 k USD at the currency exchange at Ibirapuera mall with no problem and got a better rate than I was quoted at the banks.

After immigration at GRU you have to go through red channel at customs and declare if you bring in more than 10 k Reais or equivalent. They have computers, where you need to fill out a form and print it out before showing to customs officer. Pretty straightforward process. Did it a few times. Never actually had to count and show the money though. There are ATM allowing withdrawals up to 2500 BRL for example Bradesco.

I usually bring $5 k with me whenever I travel to Brazil. Never know when I will need cash to get out of a tight jam. I change when I get to Rio in Copa and usually change 1-2 k depending on the weekend deal with the girl. I then use the cash for all my expenses like Uber, restaurants and boates. I also don’t worry about leftover reais since I will be back again and use them up.

They are definitely useful for a first-timer to Brazil like me. I stumbled across the forum and while I have posted on my local country's forum, I am not an active contributor here.

Having said that, you all seem pretty reasonable if someone actually reads the forum and doesn't ask "where can I get girls" LOL. So I have read about 90 pages of the forum which I believe has given me a great base from which to frame some of my questions.

1. Everyone agrees that 90-99% of PA girls are scams. The way you can ensure you get a non-scam is to find girls with multiple reviews with members that have a history of reviewing girls. My question is regarding the Verified but without reviews girls. Are the truly verified or are these girls also scamming?

2. Lots of discussion on taking out money from ATMs or exchanging at the airport. For the number of REALS we're changing it might make a difference. I can get a decent rate from my bank. For example, the USD to BRL rate today is 5.04 and I can get 4.9 all fees included.

My questions are.

1. Are you all getting the 5. 04 rate?

2. If I do decide to bring money from my home country 5000 USD, are there any concerns with currency controls?

3. Has anyone tried xoom to send themselves money? I did it in Colombia and it got me a great (near spot) rate.

CPF Tax Card: is this required or useful? Seems like the people who don't like being tracked say no and others say there is a convenience factor. Thoughts?

I guess the SIM Card is hit and miss. Hopefully there is a trend of reports of how to get a local Sim card so best practices can be shared.

I'm planning my trip for Aug so I've compiled my list of clinicas / boates to give back to the community.

On your first couple.

Verified doesn't mean squat on PA. If they don't have 5+ reviews on Gpguia or the like from qualified reviewers just move on. I set my filter to only return girls with reviews, then go look carefully at those with 5 or more.

If you are bringing $5 K then you have some coin. I do the Boates then. It's so much better to dance and flirt and kiss and drink before the sex. It's fun on the floor and plus you have chemistry before the room even starts. I LOVE Brasil for this part.

I just use the Bank ATMs in town once I get downtown. A few have a local withdrawal limit but you can go to a couple if you get stymied. If you have a $500 or $800 limit (I have both) then you don't really need to bring and exchange cash. Just use the ATM with two caveats:

1. They are only open during bank hours (u may get lucky but assume that).

2. Decline the "Get USD and we will convert it for you" option. Take the option to withdraw in Reals and you will get your banks exchange rate not the inflated ATM one. Read carefully because they try to confuse you!
