I have thought about this. It has merit but I am still not sure this is true.

I don't know why members spending so much debating, instead of just using the time to simply answer a question. It seems much more effective because the arguing does not work.

From newbie's perspective, it's first time and that's why they are new. From senior members' view, it's repetitive but I don't see how it helps.

If, let's say, someone tries to give a newbie an unreasonably low benchmark in anticipation that that would help keep the ladies' rates down it would only make the situation worse. Once newbie feels that nobody accepts his offer, he'd just get frustrated and end up paying the girl's ask because it's still going to be dirt cheap compared to his Boston, Paris or Sydney. Because of that soon enough you'd be paying what he paid. The more newbies know the better it would be for the old timers in the long run. That's why I think sending people to read War and Peace and telling them to learn how to search is self-defeating and hurts all of us.

Are you expecting members to "Spoon Feed" information to Newbies because they can't be bothered to read past reports and feelings get hurt when members say RTFF. BS on that mentality. There are members who have written lengthy informative post whether they be first timers or seasoned travelers, some are featured in ROD section. Why can't someone do some due diligence and read reports that in most cases answer questions prior to asking said question.

I have notice lately that members are answering questions by just referencing old posts. Therefore by inference, "If you just read or searched you would have found the answer",here is the answer via old post. (Which is a good practice)

When I started out, I did not ask any questions. I did serious due diligence by reading a full years' worth of posts prior to my first trip. I found it time well spent and had a great time on the ground running.

When you ask for help, you don't get to dictate how the answer is delivered.

Na, I don't care how much "a fool and his money are soon parted" when in Scandallo or any other Mongering hot spot for that matter, If they can't be bothered to read old post and ascertaining prevailing pricing, not my problem. And at no time will I ever care about pricing, I pay what I'm going to pay no matter what the prevailing economy dictates. I have a budget and I stick to it even If (which has never happened) have to tell a GDP to take a walk because of an inflated sense of self-worth. I dictate what value is, and yes, my pockets are deep.

I'm one of those guys who writes long novels after each of my trips (currently finishing up my latest) it is filled with a plethora of info and insights.

If you fail to read and just ask random questions you really are doing a disservice to yourself as a newbie.

I answer PM members send me but usually they ask about something in my report and have good focused questions I don't mind answering.

Newbies generally won't speak or understand porto and don't know the lay of the land and little things like ATMs and so on.

As a newbie, they wouldn't even know to ask or think about something like that so if a newbie READS then he will be way better off because they will gather alot of useful info that will make their stay the best possible since it's a brave new world they are entering.

If a newbie spends $700 USD on a girl in SP for an hour session in scandallo (I've seen it happen) then so be it. Girls in SP know this is not normal but they'll take it that's for damn sure. The most expensive girl I can think of charges $400 USD for an hour. a friend of mine had a girl try to tell him that she meant 700USD instead of 700BRL when he was going to pay and he knew that was stupid and it was his first time in SP. I never got anything like that and usually i can get girls for 600BRL on a good day

I know some guys who are really well off that wouldn't pay a girl more than $500 USD for 3-5 hours.

So that newbie throwing down more dollars than sense will not last long and he will not affect anything other than some girls bank account and his own.

A newbies bad spending habits isn't going to rock south america's financial capital and largest city suffice to say.

What it ultimately comes down to, is how that newbie's experience is going to be. Usually when they don't read they have a subpar experience and think we're all crazy for signing such praise to SP.

Going back in November for my 7th trip and will be reading all the reports til then in case things change or interesting intel comes in.

Granted there is a lot wanting on how this site is organized, but keep in mind it's a global site mostly organized by geography. A city or country specific sex site might have one thread called Scandallo where one can easily drill down on everything Scandallo.

There's no reason to get all salty about the responses you received. All the advice you have been given regarding reports of distinction, the advanced search feature, et cetera is often given to newbies. In fact, there might not be a venue that gets written up here as much as Scandallo.

As far as Sperto and others, they can be a bit impatient. However, we all get messaged regularly by others asking questions like where and how to get civilian girls. I just tell them if you don't have "game" back home don't bother. And it still takes work so you might be going home alone.

I see it often enough.

Got cash changed today at Seattle Tourismo in Jardim Paulista. Official rate was 4. 97 and I changed at 4. 90. Was able to get it all in 200 R bills. Gave them the new $100 bills only.

The other interesting thing that none of us damn foreigners could ever be aware of is that apparently in Sao Paulo you can't withdraw more than $R500 on Sundays. After striking out with Uber I tried to get my usual $R1,000 out of the ATM and three times got 'operation canceled, service unavailable'. The hotel receptionist then told me that apparently there is a law in Sao Paulo that prohibits banks from dispensing more than $R500 on Sundays. Something to keep in mind to prevent yourself from feeling anxious like I did.

Good info froma birds eye view in the club always good to read different experiences, I don't see much about changing usd cash in SP even online they just say its better to use the ATM but I think changing cash is better leaves less of a paper trail and keeps the credit card free for emergencies and other things. Saturday night I finally made it to the famed Scandalo. This is my take. I'm a total newbie in terms of clubs (have other interests too believe it or not). I spend enough time in Rio and haven't even been to 4*4. This message is primarily meant for newbies like me that don't want to read pages and pages of War and Peace and comments that follow them. I really don't care what the old timers think about me rehashing what they already know for the 500th time. Don't want to read it skip to the next post or go back to your RODs. Am I pissed a bit at the attitude I've seen here so far here? You figure that out.

I liked Scandalo. It definitely didn't live up to the hype, and subsequently my expectations but it's a good place. A lot of good-looking women of all ethno-racial diversity available in Brazil. Surprisingly a sufficient number of those that I consider to be on the ugly side too. Many of them however I saw being occupied by guys like me so tastes differ I guess, often in extreme.

Most of women hang around at the bar in the main room expectantly looking out towards the tables most of which seemed to be occupied by the bored single men having a drink. It takes whopping are $500 to enter the place but from what I understand it's less before 7 pm. Out of this 500 you can spend 300 on food and drink. The restaurant is the first room you'd see. The dinning hall looked nice and pretty quite. The aforementioned blonde and I finished our attempt at the world record in making out and grouping over nice order of fried calamari and highly fresh sushi. There is some great food at Scandalo no doubt.

One of the questions I was going ask on the forum but didn't get a chance since I was getting such a strong push back from the old timers was how hard do they crank up their AC. Not that hard.

T-shirts are fine imo. No reason to do like I did and bring along a sweater or a jacket that you may forget on the way out.

Instead of sitting down I decided to do what many girls do and stroll around the premises. Got some looks as I passed but than some hot looking blonde smile gently, I smiled back, and she quickly put her hand on my shoulder. I liked the touch. It was gentle, not overly insistent, and promised high level of good energy exchange. What happened then you can read in the cited post.

Couple of things to keep in mind: girls don't get commission for you getting them food or drink. I was watching her as we were ordering. She gave nothing to the waiter who didn't appear to even know her name. According to the blonde, each of them pays are $300 entrance fee each day they come to Scandalo and that's that. The money that you negotiate with her she says she doesn't share with the house. You just pay house for the room. I think there is also an exit fee for taking them out of Scandalo. That being said the girl can leave at any point, and if she really likes you you can just agree to meet somewhere else and skip the exit fee.

Few more things that happened to me in two days I spend in Sao Paulo. Next day I discovered that my Uber no longer summons rides. It was towards the evening, but I was really in the middle of some park dressed in summer clothes. What happened was when I clicked on Confirm ride it went to the Uber map with blue dot showing my location but that's that. It would show Uber cars passing by me, but nothing was being done about my request. Anybody experienced anything like this? Never happened to me before. I messaged Uber but still had to take a taxi to the airport. When I arrived to Rio an hour later the Uber worked fine.

One thing I learned from Scandallo is that the hottest 10 girls will get bar fined. If you're not quick you will definitely not see them again the rest of the night. I have gone home empty handed no session because I was too slow to get what I wanted thinking there would be hotter girls or equally hot to choose from.

This is true of almost every freelance club in the world. The crème de la crème either get picked-off immediately or have steady "dates" they can rely on.

I think I have only hooked up with two freelance rock stars in my travels. One was just shear luck striking early and agreeing to the higher price. It worked out because we hit it off, stayed overnight and she became my tour guide the next two days (at her rate).

The other was arranged by a Brazilian friend who basically said you have to agree to take her sight unseen. I was glad I did. Later, I would catch glimpses of her at the club as she was always in male company.
