There are really good hospitals in SP, like Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein, which is one of the best in South America. I went there in March 2020 (beginning of the pandemic and nobody knew much about the disease), for a Covid test and when they heard my insurance will pay for it, they did many blood tests, scanned my chest (picture) etc. I spent 4-5 hours there, met two doctors and many good looking young nurses and they even gave me a modest lunch.
