I have gotten used to not needing one in Colombia, Thailand and the Phils. Although I do not need it frequently it does come in handy when doing major session days.

PREFACE

There are some words of advice I'd like to bestow upon thee before I ventured any further.

LOCATION

Moema is a nice area and one would think being 5 mins away walking distance to the major clinicas would be a smart move, it is not. The problem you will find is that the airplanes constantly go over your head day and night and do not cease. I stayed in the moema area to show a new SP visitor around town and it was not worth it in his own words. I'm a heavy sleeper but still it did bug me when I just wanted to read my essential reading materials such as The Complete Calvin and Hobbes (paperback) and Pale Fire by Vladimir Nabokov.

There is no ideal location to stay at. You will be far from either the boates or the clinicas or something else. There is no "right spot" to stay at. I stayed in moema for the first 10 days then went to the Grand Hyatt in brooklin area. I think a good compromise is Brooklin novo. It's only 10 min ride away to the clinicas and 30 mins from bomboa, scandallo and casarao more or less. It's also a decent area which you have to remember is important because some girls will flat out refuse to come over if you're in a bad neighborhood like Repblica. They'll tell you to come to them or get a love motel and you don't want that if you can help it.

AIRBNB and HOTEL

I used Airbnb and my host had it written down that I had to check in every guest that I had coming in. It really made it annoying some days. Eventually I just went pass the front desk but this can be a problem if the building sees this as a problem and can kick you out. If a host says you can't have visitor or you have a limit I'd take that into consideration and look for something else. I'd ask them what the method is to get in the building as some places you get a keyfob or they use face scanner to let you in and you just bypass security or times you need to talk to the front desk every time and that's when you have a problem usually.

Also take into consideration of hotels. Some girls will only go to a guys place if it's a hotel. I had some scandallo girls tell me this and online girls. Since this is my 6th rodeo I had some girls who I had a repeat with come to my airbnb but that's because they knew I was 300 like the romans (300 = CCC = cool, calm, collective).

I stayed in the Grand Hyatt at their presidential suite which is their best suite and it was a delight. I was there during lollapalooza festival so it was extra interesting as some of the artists were staying on the same floor and security was extra tight as there was a ton of fan girls waiting to see their favorite artists walk by. I'm sure some were for me as well but I didn't pay them no mind.

Things to take note of is that the maximum registered guests you can have for your stay is 3 people. Anything over that you have to pay R150. The rooms is big enough to have 6-8 people over so really it's up to you if you want to pay that extra cost for an 4 some or more. Before 7 pm they don't really care about you bringing a girl or 2 or 4 over because they know you have friends that will want to come over but after 7 pm they have a security guard at the front who will guide you to the front desk to sign in your guests because they assume anyone coming in after 7 pm might stay the night and they don't want a fiesta happening in your place without getting a piece of that sweet action. Once a girl leaves make sure to sign them out so you have two guests available to come still. The front desk might try to squeeze you like a Heinz EZ Squirt Purple ketchup bottle and say you already used up your 2 guest spots and now you have to pay R150 for any new visitors. That's not how it works. It's any two guests at any given time. As long as you signed out any previous guests you don't have to pay unless you go over the room limit. It's usually a different front desk person so they might be confused so just politely tell them you are within the limit and clear up the confusion.

With the presidential suite you also get free breakfast, usually that means downstairs on the first floor but you can also get it sent to your room complimentary. You have to use the hotel's website to order your breakfast combo and add it to your room charge and schedule it but once you check out it will be noted as complimentary and you don't pay. A buddy of mine who has been there many many time never knew this and always missed breakfast. With the jacuzzi and it's view of the city it's really the best spot in SP. Your girl will go wild.

CASH IS KING

I recommend getting a charles schwab debit card so you don't have to pay any ATM fees. The grand hyatt notoriously has a high ATM fee, something like 30% of whatever you're taking out. Its crazy. Sometimes you will get a POS ATM situation like this so the CS debit card will save you some brain cells and dollars. I like using the bradesco atms as they work with international debit cards and they have a 2500 BRL withdrawal and some let you pick what type of bills you get. There are some 24 HR ATM machines located in supermarkets and express stores but they only let you take out 1000 BRL.

Always keep cash with you as it can save you alot of money and stress down the road. I mainly use my credit card to get those points but when you pay the girl it's always best to pay by cash as some places will charge you 10%-30% to pay them with card. Some girls have machines but they will also charge you or their machines won't work and now you have to find a ATM at 3 am and that's never fun.

HEALTH

You should get on PREP before you head out. Takes about 2 weeks to be effective and you will have some peace of mind. Most Health insurance covers it. You can buy good skyn condoms at the pharmacies and you can get sildenafil or Tadalafil (generic Cialis) there as well. Its pretty cheap. Get some mouth wash as well. Scandallo has tons in their mens bathroom but the girls don't so I've had some funny encounters where the girls will ask me to sneak them some out of the mens bathroom because they can't go in. I know some guys like to make out with their girls hardcore but make sure to wash that mouth right away because some girls aren't as hygienic as others. They will clean their pussy and ass but only a few times I've seen a girl brush her teeth or get mouthwash.

If you start to feel sick go to the pharmacy and get some meds for sore throat / coughing right away. Once you get sick you won't have the strength to do anything let alone girls. I had a friend ignore my advice and he was out of action for a good 5 days which could have easily been dealt with. If you feel bad enough go to a clinic and get some stronger meds just in case. Once you're out of commission you might as well be on your outgoing flight because you're gone.

I'm a tmobile customer and tmobile gives its MAX Magenta user 5 gb free international data so as soon as I landed I was up and running. You can also get Google Fi and it does the same thing for $20 or so. You can also use the airport's WIFI and get an uber straight to the nearest mall where you will be staying at and get a sim card from TIM but I helped a friend do that and went with him and it took about two hours before it became active so it's kind of a hassle if you don't need to do this.

BUDDY SYSTEM

for sao paulo i would recommend you come with a buddy or meet other members there. Sao Paulo is great but doing the boates alone really is a wretched experience especially when you have done it with a group of buddies before. you can really relax and take your time to soak it all in and get some more insights from your buddy as you only have two eyeballs and two heads with one doing most of the decision making. In my experience, every guy has their own tastes and there usually is very little crossover. I, myself, am very fond of pale redhead with blue/green eyes and my buddies were into the exact opposites. they knew my type and could easily point a girl out that i would like faster than i did at times. you can't visit all the places and be there at the same time so they can get you some important info about the kind of talent one place has and so on. sao paulo really in essence is going from one building to another to another with lots of uber rides in between so it's better with company during those times. i would highly recommend you stay in the same building if you're doing Airbnb or the same hotel. it really saves time and when you're in need of help they are only a few floors away and not blocks. I have the T-Mobile roaming international data on my account but it is pretty slow. I just use AIRALO on my second esim in my phone for the data in Brazil. You shouldn't have any issues at Brazilian airports. Just like all the ones around the world. They have English signs and most of the staff speaks english.

Brazil will surprise you. They are a bit more advanced than a lot of people give them credit for. Some things aren't but it is the same for all countries.

Update. Latam had 2 different prices, $64 in Portuguese and $164 on their English version with this statement: "You'll complete your booking on a local website, which is subject to that country's regulations, language, currency, and available payment methods. International transaction fees may apply. " So booking.com enters your saved info and takes less time. I reserved an Azul flight including a changeable ticket and window seats both ways. Was $100 total. A lot easier then trying to translate with google. So Rio 4 days for me and 10 in Scandallo. Ha!

I've been to Rio & Medellin, but I've never been to Sao Paulo. As a fellow monger, can someone help me decide if Ill like Sao Paulo more than Rio / Medellin. I do it all. Ben, I have never been to Rio or Medellin but have been going to SP since 2018. I have met and enjoyed light skinned girls in SP. My tastes are more for light skinned but I enjoy variety and exploring different options. I have stayed at the Renaissance, Marriott Executive Apartments and two Hiltons. In case my post wasn't clear, I dug out what I just bought recently shown in the picture. I buy chip that is already registered by seller so I no longer need to register the chip. That is the reason I don't have recent experience about registration. It took the seller about 30 seconds to put the chip in my phone and that was it. This is a hit and miss method and is more time consuming. I already have roaming so I am not in a hurry or even need to get another data plan.
