Hi folks,

Traveling to Sao Paolo for the first time on Sunday. I've been grateful for information on other destinations, and have posted my experiences for info for others about Guatemala, Costa Rica, Scotland, etc. I've read through the past 15+ pages of the SP threads and have used Google Maps to best estimate where I think each of the places that are discussed are located, but I do have a couple of questions due to not having a great deal of time when I'm down in SP:

It's my understanding that bars and clubs give you a card that you pay at the end of the night with your credit card. Is this correct?

If visiting a Clinica (such as Brooklin), is this normally a cash transaction, or card as well?

In order to have less tracking of my cash, I'll be bringing USD down, and plan on exchanging for Reals at a currency exchange office. Kind of have to do it to not have too much $$ show up on my credit card. Is this a good idea or necessary?

I'm staying at the Renaissance SP in the Jardins area. It looks as if Bamboa 222 is closest to me just to the west. Is this location correct, is there a better time of day / night to find working girls, and may I pay in cash and / or credit there?

When attempting to Google a location for Brooklin, it returns Brooklin Nova or Brooklin Paulista. Are either of these correct locations? (each about 7.3 km from the Renaissance).

I do realize that there are several questions above, and will happily post a story of my time down there, but any help would be most appreciated!

All I can figure out is that you are living in Moema part-time or full-time and you consider yourself the local on-the-ground Sao Paulo expert. If anyone has a differing opinion or not the absolute precise details, you jump all over them. You live in Sao Paulo so your commentary is very valuable and you don't feel appreciated by the forum members.

I myself look for information from both locals and guys who have traveled to the destination recently. Travelers with limited time look for different things over a short trip than people who spend a lot of time in a city.

Lady at the front desk said to get a membership type card and after 6 (I'm sure that's what she said) visits get 1 at 50% off.

Since you say you are from Pussy Prison (good ole USA) you should maximize your time. As long as you are ok registering the girls at the front desk, by all means, have a girl to your room. It's a different kind of experience. Have a nooner with her, log some recovery hours with a nice lunch and siesta and head to one of the others when they fill up at 3.
