Got to agree with Axel on this. Scandallo is not Scandallo until late night. 10 would be the bare minimum earliest I would go. It will get busier at 11 and 12 and beyond. It will be rocking till the wee hours. But I'the say shoot more for like 10 or 11. Even later is fine.

The problem with Scandallo for me is it sets the high base price. I am here for several months at a time. Instead of going out, I just want to have someone come over after work. If you count the cost by month and do it all year, then it is not ideal. Medellin or Rio are the place to be. The best thing about Medellin is the huge supply of girls that don't want to work regular job. It is very easy and inexpensive to have one or two every night. 1. Most airbnbs allow early check-in as long as there isn't someone else leaving that day. If there is, they will allow bag drops. Now, this doesn't apply to every single one, but definitely most of the ones I have stayed in or asked about happily agree. If you want to relax and freshen up and it is a long flight, it is better to book a hotel (atleast for the first couple of days). Make sure to check if the hotel / airbnb is guest friendly. Some aren't and it is better to find out earlier than later.

2. I dunno how long your trip is, but if it is more than a week, I would recommend delaying Scandallo until you have tried the other spots. Once you have been to Scan, everything else will start looking average (both quality and quantity). You want to ease into it if you want to have fun. But if your goal is to do as many hotties as possible in a short period, hit Scan every day by all means. Sundays are closed, Mondays are slow too. Tuesday to Thursday is the best time to be there. Best time to go is after 10 PM.

There are pros and cons for a girl who is a civilian / non pro but I believe it's more pros.

They don't nickel and dime you, they aren't the best negotiators and they don't watch the clock since they don't have 4 other clients to rush to and keep a schedule with. It feels more authentic and just a more organic interaction. They most likely won't rob you and they only want to make double what they make at work for the day which is like 100-200 brl, so 500 for the night is great for them.

The only cons I can think of is trying to see them again as they have regular jobs so it's hard to try to meet during the day or do an overnight. They also might be not as experienced as a pro.

The only place in Rio that comes close to casarao is Dolce Vita which also doesn't get packed til after midnight.

Lots of pros and some non pros there. Had a good experience there which I will write in my rio report. But as in all things in rio, it's a tiny place compared to SP standards. I would see the same girls all the time so the variety isn't there. One can find non pros all over rio but that takes time and great porto which is in short supply for most of us so it's not really in the cards.
