Is this really that big a concern for you folks? I've never landed in a foreign country with more than a hundred USD. Schwab refunds ATM withdrawals, so carrying cash just seems like a pain in the ass. Our modern digital banking system is designed to make international commerce as easy as possible. I have been locked out of my account before, but a phone call has always been able to clear it up. I did forget my debit card in the ATM on multiple instances though, and that was a pain in the ass. Had to have Schwab overnight it internationally. I could see that being a problem, but was able to survive just fine with my credit cards.

Excellent advice. This is how I operate abroad as well. This currency issue and the Schwab solution specifically have been discussed periodically.

There are always a few guys who operate in cash businesses where they basically take untaxed cash out of their safe and pay for their vacation. Then there are those who just like operating in cash and don't want to rely on the electronic money system. They latter have stated their case here before.

I am like you, interested in seeing her. From my perspective, I did not find one like her in Scandallo in my recent visits. My guess is that you will have a slim chance finding anyone like her in most of her pictures. I am guessing you would not recognize her even if you see her face to face in Scandallo. Remember this is only my perspective which is just one of many that all can coexist.

I would suggest newbies to focus more on the excitement the club generates seeing so many girls dressed to the nines available. If you are focusing on many 9's or 10's available, you may be disappointed. It is YMMV, partly depending on your taste. The pictures are valuable. You can find girls Anaggie posted in Scandallo, that I agree.

The price is quite high but I think you should not let that stop you if she can deliver. 10 by definition is hard to find already and you may end up paying something similar if you go the Scandallo route.

Not a big concern, but I like to be sure. I don't bring a substantial amount. Just enough to help me survive for a few days if I'm unable to access money from ATMs or other sources. Maybe $300-400 or so (obviously more for Cuba).

In contrast, in the USA, I rarely have more than $100 on me.

Anyone carrying several thousand USD in Brasil, Colombia, etc is asking for trouble IMO.

That's my standard practice as well. Maybe not quite the amount for my entire stay, but enough for several days, to give me enough time to figure our how to get cash.

I've gone to Cuba quite a few times over the years, and there you have to have enough for your entire stay, or you won't be eating when you run out.

Any time I travel abroad I always take enough cash that would cover my expenses for the duration of my stay. This is out of an abundance of caution in case for some reason ATMs and credit cards do not work. I have always returned home with the same amount of cash with which I left.

I arrived just before midnight. The place was packed. The layout is similar to Lotus Club but smaller. It also has a sushsi bar. I had a good feeling when I step out of the Uber because the women I saw outside were pretty hot. LOL. Around midnight, there were less than 60 girls inside, possibly less than 50. Quality of girls probably is about the same or less depending on the type of girls you like, I guess. Because the place is small, it is pretty easy to see everyone there. I need to see them close, and this place is perfect.

I usually only bring $1 k USD, and that's for emergencies. Many girls will take USD in lieu of Reals, especially if you give them a favorable exchange rate of 5:1 to cover their exchange costs.

You can easily get what you need via ATMs. I usually use Bradesco or Satander inside a branch or mall or GRU.

The limits per transaction vary from R1 k to R2. 5 k, but you can do multiple transactions up to your banks daily limit. Also helps to have 2 or more accounts for higher withdrawal limits.

Also set travel advisories, as many transactions in Brazil get flagged as suspicious. Having 2 or 3 ATM cards / credit cards (especially for Uber) helps a lot.

The drop off exchange service is available for exchanges of over 2 K USD. They will probably charge well for delivery I expect.

1500 BR per hour is indeed high, very high. Especially for a chick you haven't met before. I think you're much better off meeting them in person at Scandallo. That way you can get a feel for how you get along.

I think you can find her type in Scandallo. She is not my type either. I agree with Anaggie that you should see the girl in person first. There is a funny thread on this girl on the local forum. This is extremely high. It begs the question if you willing to pay that much, why are bothering to fly to fly to Brazil? For my own curiosity, I went to read her reviews on the local Portuguese board. She doesn't have any reviews written, but a lot of criticism of her rates. Some of have said she was charging 600 reais in her local city. Some escorts try to make some quick cash by traveling to a new city and leveraging their novelty.

That is quite high and there are lots of girls like this at Scandello. Not my type though so I didn't waste my time talking to them. I recommend not to make any bookings till you see what is available in Scandello. As a price comparison, I paid 4 K from Thursday night till Sunday evening with BBFS and CIP but no anal for this one from Scandello.
