One of the Scandallo told me that the inside lounge will open up on August 1, which would be amazing. Otherwise it's just the restaurant inside which just is not good. It's been freezing this week in SP to spend anytime in the gardens. The talent has been the same as the last few months which is the best part. Hopefully you will get to see the lounge opened up. I will be gone by then.

90 minutes by uber from SP to beach, ok, I will go again.

I have to go to Salvador first on biz.

Since Covid traffic has improved considerably in SP. That said it can still be bad, especially heading to GRU at the wrong time or to the coast at the wrong time. The key is to plan ahead. Go at odd hours. My trips to the beach if planned well can take 2-3 hours (past Santos up the coast toward Rio). If there is traffic 6 hours isn't uncommon.

From SP center to Santos by Uber can easily be done in under 90 minutes. If the timing is right. Avoid leaving on a Friday eve before a long weekend.

As for the quality of the beaches there it's best you look online. I've never stopped in Santos.

The last time I was in SP I swore I would never return because of a long cab ride to the airport through urban sprawl, and no beach.

But, my questions are:

How long by public transportation is it to Santos from SP city center?

Are the beaches at Santos comparable to Rio?

I acknowledge that some of the quality may be better in SP for the top end girls (who often are cariocas like Kamila Werneck), but those quality girls can be found in Rio too.

SP would be more justifiable for me if the beaches were accessible.
