How many Bamboas are there? Some mentioned Bamboa 40 in the forum. Is it same club or different? If different, which is better?

I know many forum members mentioned reduced hours of operation but for some reason I took the Google's word and went to the club on Saturday around 7 pm expecting club would be open until 6 am. Big mistake! Pandemic restrictions are still in effect, so they close at 9 pm. I thought 2 hours is more than enough to find a girl from countless available inside.

Inside was a total disappointment! All they had open was the restaurant, small smoking area next to it and the small bar. All the girls and guys were packed in the small smoking area with no room to move around. There were may be 30 girls and as many men. Not a good girl / men ratio. Most of the girls were on older side and looked liked hardcore seasoned pros. I didn't see any young fresh faces that I remember from my previous visits. It was hard to scope out and find the one you like when you are in such a small space packed like sardines. I understand we are in the middle of pandemic but what I saw was bad. I thought the club is just taking advantage of their reputation. May be it was a low business day, maybe earlier that day was better or other days are better. I will visit another time later this week and see I if the club is any better.

I spoke to 4 girls and all of them 30 and above. It felt like I was in a shark infested water with the danger of getting chewed up if I dare commit to room.

I never felt the need to speak Portuguese to get by until today. The setup was such I struggled to communicate in English as most girls didn't speak English. I better learn Portuguese!

I just had couple of drinks and left.

I hope the club gets it's old self soon. If anyone planning to visit based on pre-pandemic reports should adjust their expectations considerably. My original plan was to visit the club as many times as possible during this trip but based on what I hace seen I will try one more time to see if there is improvement.

I am in Rio now. I planned 2 night but I have already extended by 2 more nights based on my experience at Solarium Monday. I will post report in Rio thread.

What I have heart is that Scandallo currently closes at 10 pm with the disco area closed, due to construction work. Other boates seem to be open all night. Can anyone confirm?

The new Bomboa is pretty nice. It's smaller than the original, same girls for the most part. Live music performed every night. The staff is friendly AF, I sit at the same table every time I go. The waiter brings my bucket of Heineken and bolinhos de bacalhau. I don't even have to order.

I personally found it to be grossly underwhelming and a very poor value proposition relative to other options. Even compared to similar setups in other countries, the experience was still a let down for me.

I enjoy everything about Scandallo, including the in-room experiences. Sorry its been underwhelming for you. That has not been my experience. Although, I rarely seek a "superior GFE". I'm more about the PSE, and hot Brazilian girls know how to deliver on that.

I want to warn everybody about PhotoAcompanhantes. I sent back already three girls from PhotoAcompanhantes. I'm meticulous during my interviews, and I'm very clear with what I want, but this doesn't stop these scammers to send you a different girl, because the girl in the pictures doesn't even exist.

In one case I paid for the taxi, in two cases I didn't pay at all. Of the two girls I didn't pay at all, the first girl complained, but then she walked away without a cent. The second one, instead, was problematic. She called the pimp, and she threatened me. I wasn't scared because the pimp couldn't possibly pass the security. I live in a building guarded 24 hours, by armed guards. No one gets in if I do not authorize. But the girl didn't want to leave. I opened the door and she didn't leave. So I told her I was going to call the security, but the ***** closed the door and placed herself in front of the door, near the intercom, so I couldn't call. Before she left, she took a taser from the bag, and she "fired" a couple of times to show me the taser was real, but when she saw I wasn't scared, she finally left. I was about to take one of the big couch pillows, to stamp her against the door, but she finally left, telling me she would have returned with the pimp. I immediately called the security, which reassured me they were going to kick out the girl and take care of the pimp.

Don't use that website, it's trash. 90% of the time you speak with a pimp.

If a girl is asking for the money in advance, don't pay and just walk away: it's a scam. If there are men in the flat, I do not enter at all. And generally I do prefer to stay in my flat, because there is the security at the entrance. Even if it costs me more money. And always book for a flat with security, it's very important.

I would like to know the opening hours at Scandallo. Because I went there pretty late, for the first time, the other night, it was 00:45, and the place was closed. A girl told me the best day is definitely Thursday, and the reason is that a lot of married men can't go there on Friday or Saturday, so there are more men, and consequentially more girls. But which is the best time to be there? I didn't ask that.

At Enjoy, price is R250 per hour. The reception are is very nicely appointed with a fish tank. They are open 11:00 to 22:00 M-F. Sat 11:00 to 19:00. Their rooms are below average for a clinica in Moema.

I do not know Steve personally, but have corresponded with him and follow his excellent posts on the Seeking Arrangements thread. I believe if there is one guy who truly succeeds at filtering out the bad experiences, it would be Steve.

I think you're being a bit too tough on Scandallo. While it's certainly possible to have duds (like any place in the world) almost all of my experiences in Scandallo have been excellent and most guys I talk to say the same. I do agree with you on the clinicas, they produce a surprisingly high percentage of GFE, which you might not think based on the set-up.

I have had such good experiences in the clinicas that I have never been inclined to go to Scandallo. However, I do intend to go there one day as the good reviews are overwhelming. Regarding the clinicas I have had tremendously good GFE and service generally there, the exceptions I have had have always been with some very young girls (all legal of course) who I have encountered only at Abbobora and Enjoy and the problem with them has been mostly lack of experience. I would not put that down as a bad experience though as the girls have been willing.

Pre-covid, I spent most my time playing at FKK Globe in Zurich in which around 80% of the girls provided passionate GFE to my satisfaction. With this mindset and expectations, I got frustrated with the Scandallo girls, just as I got frustrated with the FKK Sharks girls. I don't mind parting with my $, as long as I am guaranteed to receive passionate GFE service to make me happy.

To my complete surprise, I find a higher percentage of GFE at the clinicas than at Scandallo. Clinica girls earn only around R120-R150 per hour - a stark contrast to Scandallo girls who earn at least R500 per hour. As a true believer in the capitalist system, I shake my head at this pussy market. This market is not efficient, to say the least. Or to put it more bluntly, this market is irrational. I was taught to believe that in a capitalist market, the best performer will be rewarded with the highest money amount.

I still go to Scandallo to enjoy being in its luxurious ambience. However, I am much more careful about going to room now. I used to go to room with any girls I found optically pleasing and who answered yes to all my interview questions. After I got burned a number of times, now I know that many girls don't keep their promises made during the interviews.

I talked about the Three Frescuras earlier. "Payment in advance" is a new one, a fourth frescura. I only encountered it this year. I got the impression that certain managers in certain clubs started to condone this bad behavior on the part of girls against gringos. A lot of guys coming from the US are fooled because they think this is normal behavior. It is definitely not normal behavior in Brazil.

On the one occasion this happened to me -- the girl asking for payment on entering the room -- I asked if she meant she wanted to cancel. She said yes. So I simply went back to reception, called for the manager, and got his apologies. I didn't have to pay for the girl or the room.

It's not quite as bad as that. You should get to know the names of managers and threaten to complain if a girl starts acting crazy. No matter how sharky a girl acts, she doesn't really want to be the object of a scene and get a bad reputation in the club. Try to remember that she has a lot more to lose than you do, especially if you are only a couple of weeks in town.

I want to say in fairness that I have met some amazing top-quality girls in Scandallo. I just wish the management would understand the importance of maintaining the reputation of the club. Sometimes even the clerks will try little scams. Every time they win R10 in change, they miss R1000 in lost business.

I did meet some amazing top-quality girls at Scandallo also. However, I had to wade through a bunch of bad ones to find the gems. They all promise GFE services until we got into the room, then a high number of them reveal themselves as some low-class street hookers.

Yeah my hit percentage worldwide tends to be quite good. Maybe 5-7 poor experiences out of 100 girls. Feel pretty good about that. Think my Portuguese helps in Scandallo.

My worldwide hit percentage is excellent as well. I do not speak good Portuguese, so that certainly is not required in Scandallo to enjoy awesome success. Fucked so many hot girls there, with a high anal percentage too!
