I heard there is going to be a truckers strike starting about the 23rd. Has anyone there heard about this and what it might do to us during a visit? I will be arriving the 19th and returning April 4.

The person who told me about it was there during a trucker strike a few years back and he said they rationed gas?

Few years ago when they had a truckers strike I was in POA, it just means it will be hard to get transportation for taxi, since people have no petrol to put, and that time it got bad, not sure if it was worse, that even the airplanes might not be able to fly. Luckily that time the planes still could fly, and I could go home. So truckers strike means look forward to lack of public transportation, ohh and empty restaurants. That was cool, me and a girl all alone in the restaurant, with our own server, candlelight dinner. Expect restaurant to close early too. But should be fine in a city like sp.

Why don't you stay in the middle of the Sao Paulo clinica scene? You can find nice condos in Moema and walk to the various clinicas. Of course, you can venture out to other clinicas in other neighborhoods. (My advice is don't stay in Republica.).

If I'm a bit confused by the vernacular you are using, I suspect others will be. Sao Paulo is not known for termas. And I would say SP clinicas are fairly similar to prives if not exactly. Clinicas are great for afternoon fun (as well as evening).

There are prives in SP which are locales in apt or business buildings. From what I heard, prives are below clinicas in quality but cheaper. In the local forum gpguia, there is a CLínica section and a prive section. From the descriptions of the prives, I would no interest in going. SP are known for its CLínica scene and I also recommend to first timers to SP to stick to them. There is a large grouping of clinicas in Moema and what's where I would be! There is a lot of traffic during the day and it would be a pain to get out of república to try any of the Clinicas in Moema.

It could be that she planned something with another client so she couldn't come and a lot of the times they won't give a reason for that.

Called the Scandallo girl and very surprisingly she said she couldn't come. Didn't give a reason. I really thought we had hit it off, she really did seem to be into me. Good news today, card statement shows the money was credited back. So thank god for that.

Some banks such as Bradesco has a daily limit of 2500 r withdrawal at the ATM regardless of your own bank account withdrawal limit. I ran into the issue while in SP. You just have to go to another bank ATM such as HSBC or Santander to withdrawal more money.

Dude. You can totally do business in the day / evening and Scandallo at night. Believe me. I've done it. Sleep when your dead. Politely excuse urself from dinner around 9 or 10 (very jetlagged!) and go to Scandallo till 2 am. Rinse. Repeat. You won't be sorry. Or you will be if you don't do this.

I'm coming to SP for the first time in a couple of months. Its a business trip but from reading here, Scandallo is a must so I will make sure to stay over a weekend for that purpose alone.

However, for the weekdays, its going to be all business and little time for hunting. But again reading the thread, its seems that staying at the Renaissance is a good pick as I read quite a few post saying that you can find WGs in the lobby bar there. That would do very nicely for some evening fun. So my question to you experienced gentlemen here is whether one can find quality there?

(Well from doing a bit of reasearch and being and ass man, almost anywhere in SP seem to be heaven).

Exactly what Steve said. You can easily go to Scandallo after work function / dinner. Scandallo is opened until 4 am and some of the best talent don't show up until 9 or 10 pm.

Weekends (Friday and Saturday, as they are closed on Sundays) isn't as good as mid-week (Tuesday to Thursday) in terms of talent / lineup.

Deciding on a multi month stay in SP vs rio.

My MO. Is quickies, usually with casa girls, sw (Colombia) or prives in rio.

When I went to rio and stayed in centro, so many prives it's amazing. In and out. But it's less developed in centro esp. Compared to copa where shit's more expensive. airbnbs arnt as nice, etc.

SP has much better food, housing (stayed by republica metro), but the prive scene is non existent. If I want to go to a quick prive I have to take a 20 min metro to other neighboorhoods, or go walk by cracklandia 20 blocks after booking an online girl. A lot more prep time.

My question I guess is.

Has the prive scene in SP gotten better? Or is it mostly termas still and online ads which require more time and setup..

Yes, I have my eye on the LUSH motel.

Probably the ATM is out of cash. You can try another ATM and that works usually. The important thing here is don't repeatedly withdraw from the same ATM that gives you error. Your account will run out of money and you end up with no cash to withdraw from a good ATM.

You can take the girls to a nice love motel to have a party. It's pretty nice.

Gabi's likely talking about the infamous Sao Paulo love motels. As Bearsi mentioned two days ago, Lush and Asturias are two of the best as far as amenities. You should check out their websites to see the various rooms on offer. Some are literally sexual playgrounds.

There are love motels all over town and some are just rooms to get down to business for a couple hours.

I would much prefer to stay in one of the SP condos as compared to rio centro as theyre much nicer, but the prive quickie scene of rio along with villa mimosa is hard to beat.

Based on my experience, Rio is much better in that regard, more concentrated, and better quality. There are a few prive buildings in o Centro that are walking distance from Republica metro but the quality is not good. The same type of buildings like the one near cracklandia, I assume you consider that prive. Occasionally you can find a diamond, but very very rare. And you have to fuck in the setting similar to the cubicle like U24 in Rio. I know some like it that way but I like something clean and privacy. LOL. There are other prives but more spread out and I have not been to those. Have you been to Tangara? It's only 120 for 30 minutes.

I like Republica. There are a lot of food options and very lively at night. I plan to stay there my next trip.
