Nice report. Like you, I like to get there early and consume food and beverage in the restaurant. I've had good luck getting numbers on the sofas. I like to camp out on a sofa in the back and wait for the girls to walk by. Invite the ones you want to sit and talk. Went to Scandalo Tuesday night Jan 24, eve of a state holiday.

Enter before 7 pm pay 150 entrance but all is consumacao (credit for food / drink).

Enter after 7 pm pay 222 (or 250, don't recall) 150 in consumacao.

Arrived early, used up my 150 in the restaurant. Excellent menu, a good value for consumacao I ordered sushi mix and chicken tenders. I should have just ordered 1 dish instead of 2, as the portions were very generous and I was satisfied after the sushi and the chicken was sufficient for 2 people. Live and learn. Drinks are expensive, even a simple beer is 35 reais, soft drinks 20. Mixed drinks 50 or 60.

Number and quality of girls: impressive. By 6:30 there were already 50 girls lounging in restaurant and cafe. Bar / disco area does not open until 9:00.

House rules, girls must work M-F or T-Saturday - 8 hour shifts.

By 9 the bar / disco area was packed with female flesh, must have been 150 girls there. Just walking through crowd was like a Scorcese POV shot of some male fantasy, smoldering looks from curvaceous hotties, bundas shaking seductively, lots of dresses showing off cleavage and legs. You could have partitioned Scandalo into little segments each representing the size of the Rio termas bar areas. Still, the prices are astronomical, and I kept thinking to myself "I have a in home date tomorrow with a 20 yo clinica girl who will rock my world for 200 . Why spend 850 tonight". Actually, in Tangara some of the girls do hang out in the lounge area and you could go talk to them. In any case, at any clinica (or Rio prive) you can have the girl you like chat with you before you go to the room to see if she does what you want her to do in a session.

This is true. I have had good screening times at Tangara -- when I see a girl I like in the line-up, I call her back afterwards (sometimes via manager) and then ask if she'd like to sit and chat for a few minutes. Usually I take them down the stairs to the courtyard in between the buildings. It's a great way to build some rapport and see if you think you'd get along. I am not into clinicas I am more into clubs or termas that's why I still prefer Rio De Janeiro over Sao Paulo, the clubs in Sao Paulo costs expensive, you have to pay the entrance that is not cheap, and the room separated unlike clubs in Rio de Janeiro always using uber from a place to another place is not cheap.

I am not trying to argue with you as much as present a different perspective.

Lets look at those points. Yes, the high end Sao Paulo clubs are expensive, but so are the Rio high end clubs. SP has low, mid and high clubs, as does Rio. So you choose your price range in both places.

Lets take the high end clubs: If you go to a high end club in either place you are looking to spend 600 or more, all in, in either place. Some of the SP clubs are marginally more expensive, but at that level it becomes marginal cost. You are paying the premium to mingle and have a lot of choice. The top SP clubs are at least twice the size of the Rio clubs and have twice as many girls to choose, so the odds are higher of finding a few more top girls to choose from, no matter what your taste. To your point about the separation of cost. Entrada, programa and room. Some Rio clubs also separate the costs that way. But the separation of cost is just bookkeeping difference. Its the all in cost that matters. When you look at the entrada cost, you have to consider whether it includes "consumacao" meaning your entrance includes a credit for some or all of the cost of the entrance to put toward food or drink. Of the Rio clubs only Cancun does this. The other Rio clubs may have lower entrance but they don't offer consumacao.

Lets look at the programa, the big difference is that Rio clubs have fixed cost programa and the SP clubs are almost all negotiated be / t the client and the GP. So this can work to your advantage or disadvantage. In particular, later in the night you can get a discount in SP. Speaking of late at night, the SP clubs are far more late night friendly. The Rio clubs either shut down at midnight (Centro) or wind down severely. The SP clubs go to 4 am, and new girls are still arriving as late as 10 pm. That is a big difference. Also, RJ clubs in centro are M-F only. SP clubs are M-Saturday and in at least 3 cases Sunday too. Then there is "take out", another HUGE difference. In summary, its not just a matter of marginal cost, its a complex set of differences, club size, number of girls, hours of operation, days of operation, options to stay in or take out, negotiation vs fixed price. Lots of variables.

Lets take mid range. Personally, I don't think Rio has anything to compare to Casarao in terms of size and price point. You can consider Rio clubs like MV30,502 and such as mid range, but Casarao blows them away in terms of size and atmosphere. As Casarao is negotiable you can wind up paying as little as 200 or as much as 600 depending on time and program negotiation. Maybe the new Help will compare to Casarao at some point, remains to be seen.

On the low end: I am not a low end club guy so I can't say too much. I went one time to Vila Mimosa and the stink was appalling so if that's what guys like about Rio, good luck to them. SP has its own trashy clubs on Paulista, I never enter them be / see if I am there Casarao is the better option by far.

Again, not trying to argue with you but just trying to counter the strange trend on this forum to consider SP "a clinica only place". There are many mongers who would never pay for a club girl considering the value in the clinicas. But if you like clubs then SP has a very compelling scene.
